Wilda, i completely understand your worry that's why I say the hell with the doctors regardless of how good they have been in the past. I don't understand the logic, if things get worse well deal with them then. Spending so much time in hospitals with my dad i've come to realize that this health care field is still a business. Sometimes, they play with peoples lives because of the business factor. I don't mean to worry you or stress you out. I just say follow your heart. If you think something should be done for your mother then do all you can for her, the ER wont refuse treatment that can't legally.

It's difficult with my daddy. He's doing alot better. But since he has more conditions than just his heart he's still not better. He's TONS better from where he started. But he's kind of stuck with all his conditions and healing right now. But he's the most stubborn person in the whole wide world. Since i was in jury duty two days he was on his own those days. The first day he went out on his own and exhausted himself he ended up sleeping from 12-5. The second day he went out again on his own and fell. I had to sit him and down and talk to him and explain to him he is expecting himself to return to how he used to be before he was sick. He wont be like that even if he fully recovers. He'lll get better, he has been getting better, but even when he recovers he wont be like his old self. But that's fine. He was all stubborn like i want to be normal again. It's something he has to come to terms with on his own. But, i just spend my days with him and doing all he asks and all he needs. Its seems the worst of it has passed and i'm little by little relaxing. He has one more test he has to go to next week for one condition and if he passes it, all the major threats are gone and we can focus on just the recovery from the heart attack and his injured foot and leg.

Tasha, Men in general are stubburn. I can't blame him for wanting to go out and do things on his own but he has to understand that its too risky right now and it wont help him. He's lucky to have such a wonderful daughter who would do everything in the world for him. With you by his side, he'll be just fine. I have no doubt about it. Thanks for the talk. It helped alot. And believe me if my mom gets worse, and the doctor doesn't do anything about it, then hopefully I will be able to talk my mom into going to the ER or getting a second opinion. Kee me updated on your dad, and I'm here whenever you wanna talk.


As for the Dimitri guy, I have to go with Kim. Talk to him and if you're not ready for that a little following won't hurt haha. If I saw someone who was Dimitri to me, I don't think I could resist. Although I'd probably be starstruck even if he's not a celebrity lol.

It's hard having sick relatives. I know you're both concerned about your parents, and no part of me would ever say you shouldn't be, but try and have a few moments to yourselves too, without worrying too much. You won't do them any good if you don't have a handle on yourself. You're both amazing ladies and your mum and dad (respectively) are extremely lucky to have daughters who care unconditionally about them. The best part of being ill is knowing there's someone to care for you when you need it most, even if they are stubborn about it sometime. *hugs*

I took the time when I went to the store to get baby wipes and just walked around for an hour by myself looking at books and stuff. It was nice and peaceful, I didn't have a worry in the world. I could probably live at a bookatore if I could lol.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. My hubby has to work both Saturday and Sunday so it's just me and the kids.

How do you guys picture Dimitri?

I don't know if I could decribe my dimitri at the moment. I've been on twitter all afternoon talking to a whole heap of girls who think Ben Barnes is the perfect Dimitri, and they've been posting an insane amount of Ben photos. So I sort of only have him in my head at the moment.
lol, even if he's not a full Dimitri, you're still closer than the rest of us to finding a dimitri.

So I was having a perfect weekend till someone stole my purse...

I'd definetly stalk a guy if he reminded me of Dimitri. I mean honestly, wouldn't any girl swoon over him? There is this one guy I saw in school that reminded me of Adrian Ivashkov (minus the fangs and spirit magic). It's strange, seriously, I think I'd get star crossed between Adrian and Dimitri if they went to my school.

haha I really don't know what I would do if I came across someone who just screamed Adrian or Dimitri at me. Like I said I'd be starstruck. I probably just freeze in place and stare. Which would make such a wonderful impression right? lol

I'm positive you guys will completely disagree, but this is the closet I've ever come to Dimitri. Daniel Cudmore (Felix in New Moon and Eclipse, Colassal in X-men 2&3) Do I think he'd make the perfect Dimitri in the movie? NO But when I saw these pics after reading VA for the first time, I instantly thought Dimitri. He's 6'7 and like 250lbs. So that could have a lot to do with it lol

To be honest Wilda, the pictures aren't big at all. But true, you have a point about Daniel Cudmore being a good Dimitri. But will his voice match the way Richelle describes in the series? Maybe. Will he be able to do the action scenes as well as Richelle details it in the series? Will he be able to act the way Dimitri does? Will he be as graceful and dangerous as Richelle said Dimitri is? I don't know. But we'll have to see what happens in the movie series, now won't we? Haha, cherry bomb!

Dan and Ben are pretty good Dimitri's just not fully him.
Dan doesn't have mysterious killer look going for him I think.
Ben doesn't have the build but I'd be happy if he were cast.

Anyway I'll keep you guys posted on the Dimitri look a like.

He could do all the physical stuff. He used to be a stunt double before he landed the role as Colassal in X-Men 2 but everything else is a negative esp his voice. Like I said I was going on looks alone I don't think he'd be able to pull Dimitri off. I could be wrong but I doubt it. Maybe he could be Dimitri's stunt double haha

I love Ben barnes in Chronicles Of Narnia, but he's not Dimitri to me. His acting would be ok I think but his looks are nothing liek Dimitri. idk I don't see them casting someone so known as any of the characters.

anyways, how's everyone's weekend? Mine was ok. A bit boring actually. Thinking about putting the Christmas Tree up today but I'm kind of in a lazy mood so idk.

My weekend was pretty good. I thought the supermarket on thanksgiving was a zoo. But shopping on the weekend pre Christmas is a freaking jungle. I mean it doesn't bother me none, but with my dad who can't really walk I'm just about ready to flip on some one every other minute. No manners people these days, just have no manners.
We usually do our shopping during the week but the hubby is only off weekends and he wanted to do some Christmas shopping.

I have to go back to the same particular store ( walmart) because i bought some jeans when i went during the week and forgot to take them back when i went Saturday. My brain just doesn't work early morning sometimes lol. But i'm really frustrated because I bought those jeans, same brand and same style as the jeans i wear now. I even bought them a size bigger because i fight with my jeans every morning to get them buttoned. So i figured I'll stop being vain and just buy a bigger size. They didn't fit at all. The smaller size fits, tight, but they fit. These new ones I couldn't even get into them. I jsut dont get it. I know different brands and different styles the sizes differ. But they are exactly the same brand and style. I just dont get it.

Anywho, today i wrapped even more presents. Every time i'm done wrapping everything, my dad decides he wants to get more gifts and i have another whole set to wrap. I dont mind. I love wrapping presents. And i love giving presents even more.

I ordered two other books with LS. They got shipped seperately. I can't track LS but can track the other two. Having a minor freak out only an obsessive vampire academy fan would have.

I'll probably be busy with work and reading for the next coulple of days so have a great week everyone and enjoy LS.

Tasha, they may have started making the jeans different or tighter. I hate it when they do that but it seems like every company thinks every girl should be a size 0 (no effense to anyone that tiny). On top of that companies like to make the clothes smaller than normal causing people to buy 1-2 sizes bigger than they usually wear.

After today, I won't be on until I read LS. I still haven't decided if I'm going to buy it as an ebook or wait til the hubby gets home at 4pm to go get it. Either way I may not be on til the weekend or next week cause I've got a lot to do which may cause me to read LS slower than usual *sigh*

lol it's ok I'd be acting the same way. I actually caught myself acting that way to my husband yesterday when I was complaining. I had to get a hold on myself. I'm 25 I have no excuse to act like that nor should I lol You're still young enough that it's expected of you. But speaking from a mother's pov and from experience, acting like that doesn't help, it only makes it worse for you. Like I said in the message, maybe they'll let you order it as an ebook that way they don't have to take you. How far is Borders from your house?

So iwasn't too anxious for the LS because I'm re-reading the series. I'm half way through blood promise now. But i just tracked my pre-order of LS from amazon and it said it isn't expected to be delivered until the 17th! That so blows. I may avoid this site for a week or two until i get the book. I don't want to read any spoilers. Its not bad now cause I'm re-reading the series. But when i finish re-reading Spirit BOund i'm going to be way antsy.

I thought Amazon was supposed to be pretty quick. You'll be better prepared for LS. I read this bit in LS and thought I can't remember that SB reference.
