| Fed Ex apparently delivered my copy of LS this MORNING. lol I didn't find out until 3pm. Anyway, I've started reading it, but am taking a break to watch the live broadcast of RM's signing in New York... as long as the internet doesn't die. *crosses fingers* | |

What was the live broadcast like? I messed up the time difference caculations and missed it. Well it started ten minutes late. Then some lady came up to say that she was introducing RM. lol Like people didn't know who they were coming to see or something. RM came up and gave a sort of intro and then began to read from LS for about fifteen minutes (at which point I muted the volume so that I could read it myself later and not get spoiled). Then the audience got to ask questions, including some from viewers online. Most questions were along the lines of "Where do you get your inspiration from?" and "Who do you think is better for Rose?". But the lady who introduced RM kept interrupting her while she was trying to answer questions (the lady was repeating the questions for the online viewers, but RM will normally repeat them herself in case others can't hear the question, so it was kind of needless). In all... kinda boring. I was hoping there would be questions about the spin-off but there weren't any. Oh, and IIRC RM did mention that this week's Entertainment Weekly will have an article type thing about the characters in Bloodlines. They mentioned it should go up online next week.

| Yes amazon is supposed to be fast. AFter i tracked my package ( i placed the pre-order last month), i went to the general LS amazon page and it had a little thing under the price saying "order now and receive it the next day for free". I've never cursed so much in my life. I just can't bring myself to spend money on a book i already purchased. But, being as its the last book in the series, i think my patience will hold out. I want to savor this last book. I just have to be careful on the internet. Spoilers are everywhere. I look kind of crazy using the computer. I keep bracing myself physically and have a skeptical look on my face and ready to jump out of my chair if anything even remotely spoiler-ish pops up. lol. | |

| I'm moving back into my own room this weekend. Been living in my sister's room for the last 4 weeks because my grandmother was in my room, but I've finally got off my arse and decided to move back downstairs. It was too much effort while LS was being read etc. Lol.
Hope everyone's well | |

| Awe well, GL Monday Ela. let me know what happens Glad you're finally back in your room Kim. Christy GL with your dance performance. Try not to stress too much I'm sure you'll be great! I had soooo much fun last night. I met my friend at 5pm and we went to an outdoor mall area and walked around and tried on shoes and clothes. Then we went to Chili's for dinner and had margaritas-she had 2 classics and I had 2 frozen strawberry ritas. They were the BEST margaritas I've ver had and were 2 for 1. After we ate, we took a shot of patron with the salt and lime. Which is something I've never done before and wow that lime really does help. But Patron was smooth enough that it didn't burn at all. After sitting at Chilis for 2 hrs, we went and saw Burlesque. When it first started, I didn't think I would like it but about 30 mins in I started getting into it. Overall it was good. Idk if I'll watch it again, btu I def like a few of the songs Christina Aguilera did. After we left, we had to make a quick trip to walmart at 1am lol I didn't get home til 2:30 and didn't get to sleep until 3:30am. Then my son woke me up at 7am! I got about 3 hrs of sleep. Once I finally got out of bed I had to take my hubby to work. He bought me a double shot espresso and cream energy drink and a vanilla frappuccino and made me drink those lol It helped wake me up for a little while but now the lack fo sleep is kicking in again. I've still gotta clean the house (came home to a huge mess), wash clothes, and go grocery shopping. Think I'm going to crash as soon as the kids go to bed tonight. While sitting at chilis talking, we made 2 bucket lists (like the movie). 1 is a big list where it'll be over time and the 2nd is a little one we'll hopefully fulfull in 2011. We had so much fun. It was nice to be able to go out and feel young again. And no worries, we didn't get drunk or even typsy. So we were still responsible. Hope everyone has had a great weekend and has a great week | |

| My weekend was GREAT. Why? Because i received LS in the mail Saturday. Amazon said i wouldn't get it til the 17th so it was doubly awesome. I went to the mall Saturday with my parents and my hubby and my niece. We took my niece to have her pictures taken with Santa Clause and the had lunch and shopped around. When i got home late afternoon i seen a box outside with my name on it and i swear i've never run inside so fast in my life. My family thought i was crazy. I opened it and sure enough it was LS. Immediately ignored all my chores and responsibilities and finished Spirit Bound that night. When i woke up Sunday, i had a cup of tea some breakfast, got a bottle of water and curled back up and ignored the world and started reading LS. I finished it last night. So it was a great weekend for me , though i'm tried for going to sleep late and have a TON of chores to do and errands i've neglected all weekend. But, it was so worth it. I may be tired but i'll have a smile on my face all day. | |

| haha thats awesome Tasha. Glad you had a great weekend I too have chores that were neglected that I have to catch up on today. I have sleep that needs to be caught up on more but that's the price I have to pay for staying out so late Saturday night. Saturday night I started losing my voice and yesterday it steadily got worse. Now I can't tlak without my voice cracking and me needing a drink of water. Singing is even worse which sucks cause I just got the new Taylor Swift cd and I wanna sing. Listening to music and singing at the top of my lungs helps me with cleaning but I can't do that today I love this cold weather we are having but its kept me sick. And just when i think I'm over it, I end up worse than I was before. | |

| I went out with some VA girls I met on the Penguin Australia forum last night. One of them tweeted Richelle saying we were going out for cocktails to celebrate/discuss LS, and Richelle replied all surprised...I think she thought she was supposed to be there and hadn't be told there was a cocktail dinner happening. It was pretty funny and cool that she replied at the same time, so we promised her photos. Had a really good night and then went to see the new Narnia movie. We all did a lot of swooning over Ben Barnes Tasha: Yay, I'm glad you got LS earlier than you thought you would. It's pretty fun when you can ignore the world for a little while Wilda: Oh no! I hate when you lose your voice, especially if it interrupts singing! Ela: Congrats! you make it sound so simple. I'm so happy for you. | |

| I loved it. I couldn't remember much from the book while I was watching it though..but I think that's a good thing. It meant there was less criticising. But because I was there with VA fans and we all like the idea of Ben as Dimitri there was a lot of squealing and swooning involved (especially when there's a scene of him in a duster and a lot of fighting). But overall, really good movie. | |

| Congrats Ela I'm so happy for you and I saw on FB that your parents approve which is awesome! Kim, that is awesome that you got together with VA fans. I think it would be a ton of fun. Glad you had a great time As for Ben as Dimitri, I've never pictured him as Dimitri but he is hot. I can't wait to see Voyage of the Dawn Treader and see him in a duster haha. My hubby received his acceptance letter to Valencia yesterday. He starts classes in January and he is so excited. It'll be rough with him working full time then going to night classes, but if anyone can do it, it's him. I'm so proud of him | |

| Ela, congrats! I hope things work out !
Wilda, hope ur feeling better and can get back to signing. I personally love to sign, only i cant carry a note to save my life lol. I freely sign horribly though when cleaning and alone and is something i get to do again now that the hubby is working and my dad stays downstairs. Best of luck to ur husband! School and work is hard but i have faith he'll do just fine!
Kim, i'm sooo happy ya'll had a good time and got a response for RM! I'm excited for all ya'll. A VA outing sounds delightful! I wish i had people locally to do that with.
My dad is going for some procedures tomorrow. SO today he can't eat at all. And has to drink a gallon of some medicine thats going to make him live in the bathroom. Lol. SO i'm up a little earlier than usual to go out with my dad and do errands before he has to start taking his medicine and stuff. My goal for today is write out all my Christmas cards and mail them. But its so cold outside i just want to get back under the blankets. lol. There is snow on the ground but only a little bit which i'm way happy about. I love snow but now with the hubby working and my dad not healthy, i'm the only one home to shovel it. Thats going to suck majorly. I'm tempted to pay people to do, but thats not reasonably if its going to snow alot this winter.
Then tomorrow my dad's appointment is at 9am. I hate when he makes the appointments so early. I prefer a 1030 appointment so i can wake up and eat and have some time to get ready. But the doctors said all the procedures will take a half hour and then recovery time is an hour or two. But in doctors time we've come to know instead of expecting to be out of there in 3 hours like they said, it going to be 6 hours or so. So thats why my dad makes appointments so early.
