What's everyone up to?

I'm all worked up at the moment. My football team won an AMAZING game tonight. It was insane and I'm pumped from it.

i didn't read through all the comments so sorry for whatever I missed. Kim- yay glad ur team won!

I'm still on vacation visiting the in-laws-to-be. i go home, for sure, tomorrow. I'll miss the care-free-ness of it here. But, i miss my things... and miss a fast working computer.

I am going to pull my hair out with all this school work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on your team winning Kim. The football over here started today. I'm excited. I don't watch every game but i keep up with my team-Dallas Cowboys. I've been a fan since I was 9. They aren't the best but they are my team. Their first game comes on in 2 hrs.

Tasha, I'm glad you've had a great vacation. I hope time away has done you good. I wish I could get away even if it was for 1 day.

Wilda, yay football started! I watch the patriots , jets , steelers and the saints. those are my fav teams. I'm not a big football player or watcher but i have players i follow. :drool: lol.

I'm homeeeee. I'm so tired. I only slept a few hours and woke up at 6am, left at 8am got to newyork at 10am and then took the train home at got here at like 1120 in the afternoon. Then my cousin came over and was braiding my niece's hair- so it was almost 3 hours straight of my niece cryinggggg and screaming. Then after that i started to unpack. Gave up and ate. And now i'm just trying to stay awake for 9pm and watch the season finale of true blood. Im so excited to see it. I dont want to see it end but i want to see it.

Tasha ~ I would love it if you read my blog. I have Ash as a friend there but the more the merrier.

Wilda: I'll cheer for the Dallas Cowboys from here I know the game's already been played (and I have no idea if they won or not) .. but I'll cheer anyway.
I'm a little sad about my football experiences today I can't go to the game on saturday night this week...I've got a friend's 21st birthday ... my sister's coming home for the weekend again and everything. It's very sad.


At uni at the moment, trying to do a bit of study...but I've got a sore throat. I think my twin gave me her cold...except she got rid of it days ago. It sucks. I've been on holidays all of last week and I was super healthy the whole time...then the first day back at uni I start getting her cold. It's just my luck really. *sigh*

Thanks. Unfortunately I'm at uni uni 6pm-ish (sometimes we're let off early)...so I'm just sitting around waiting.

Sorry your getting sick Kim. Thats how it usually works though healthy while on break and then sick as soon as school starts. That always happened to me.

Glad your home Tasha but ss you had to deal with a screaming kid. I know how that feels and its not fun lol

Only the second week of school here and I get called in. Well at least for the afternoon. Then it's stright to my class afterwards. Then home for dinner, a little bit of homework, chatting with friends online, reading, then bed. Wow that seems like a lot. Oh well at least it's not all boring.

I'm super happy lol! I'm having such a hilarious week this week! Last week I had bad luck every single day, but now, it seems like my back luck has turned its self into funny luck (if there's such a thing lol)

We had some nice weather this morning and this evening but it was hot as hell this afternoon. But at least the cooler weather is making its way in even if its only in the mornings and evenings. I'll be glad when we finally start getting cold fronts.

It's funny you should mention weather Wilda, ours is doing funny things at the moment too. But, while you want the cold fronts to come through, I'm dying for summer to hurry up and get here. I'm sick of wearing jeans and trackies. I want summer dresses and shorts and skirts! And to go swimming! Bring on the hot weather!

lol Kim. Back in Feb I was dying for the warm weather but now I want it to go away lol

My stupid ac quit working yesterday. I thought it was the filter but we changed it last night and it never got below 79 f in my house. I've got the windows open right now and it feels ok but in a few hours it'll be 85f in here and with the sun beating down on us its just too hot for inside. I know I'm complaing but it seems like every summer the ac wants to quit. Summer 2009 we had to put in a new unit b/c it quit working 3 times so I'm a bit pissed that its already stopped working.

and on top of the ac quitting my son seems to be wanting to go to the hospital. The past 2 days he has fallen off the couch and bumped his ear, fell down the steps (accident of my daughter), and just 15 mins ago he fell while on the way to my daughter's bus stop and slammed his head down on the concrete. This seems to be the worse cause he has a nasty knot by his hairline on his forehead and a few scratches on his nose. He's running around playing and being loud so he seems ok but it just worries me. He's already had one head trauma back when he was 2 months old and I'd like to keep the future clear of more.

I don't mind cold weather, I mean sometimes it's SUPER hot so it's nice to get a cool breeze or something. But I generally like the warm weather best. Sucks about your AC though.
Ugh, it's moments like those where you wish kids came with bubblewrap-suits! I hope he stops hurting himself soon.

A bubble wrap suit would keep me from having a heart attack lol I swear one of these days he's going to give me one.

idk what my hubby did but he fixed the ac and my son isn't cranky or doing crazy stunts today! Guess it was the heat lol

It's freezing here in Wales! They don't put the damn heating on in school until the end of October/beginning of November!! They then turn it off in May!! It's also freezing in my room, my parents won't let us turn the heating on until, most probably, November like school!

Well, I guess I'll spent the night on my computer... And tomorrow I'm going shopping!
