| I love the Harry Potter Books. I first read them last year.
I'm sitting outside on my back porch looking out at the woods drinking Hot Chocolate and about to read Succubus Heat. It's so peaceful out here. My fav place to read when it isn't to hot.

| I read the first one when I was 11 and the last one came out when I was 17. Nicely timed. Saw HP 7.1 yesterday. Its fantastic. | |

| It's such an interesting story! I really like it. I mean... Hogwarts? School for Witches and Wizards? That's such a cool and new idea. (Well... y'know, not new-new, seeing how the books actually came out years ago...) I'm halfway through Chamber of Secrets now | |

I'm halfway through Chamber of Secrets now The books only get better. My fav is Deathly Hallows-it's also the saddest imo. I like Order of the Phoenix next followed by Half Blood Prince. Christy, glad you had a great time I plan on going to see HP7 on the 27th. Today has been a long day and it's only 3pm. I still have lots of cleaning to do then I plan on reading.

| Hey ya'll. Sorry I've been kind of MIA. Been super swamped. Last weekend we spent it with my in-laws-to-be. They moved to Texas. My hubby was crushed. He was super depressed all week. He has no family left in state now.
I've been busy Christmas shopping. Well i ordered almost everything online. I received so many packages the Fed Ex guy knows me by name. Lol. I just finished wrapping everything last night. Well i still have a few more things coming in the mail. But i'm just about done with gifts. All i need is one more thing for my best friend and few stocking stuffers. Also, i decided since we don't have alot of money to spend, I would make baskets. Which was a great idea. I went to like dollar stores picked up a few things for a dollar. I went to this store Party City, and they had a whole aisle with things and lil party novelty items for like .25 cents. I got a ton of them. I made four baskets for the four children in our family and they are super cute. I made two gift baskets, one for my cousin and one for my friend. I spent maybe 40-50 bucks on all the baskets. Which isn't too bad. Like 10 bucks a person. And it doesnt look like cheap gifts. It looks pretty and the kids baskets have ton of little things they will enjoy.
I officially love Walmart. I got my hubby's gift for super cheap. they had these canvas slip on shoes he's been wanting to get ...for 8 bucks. I got him 3. Lol. And they have hoodies and sweat shirts on sale for 8 bucks. Pjs sets for 8-12 bucks. Not to bad. Anywho i'm rambling, i can talk about gifts all day, i love giving gifts.
I also got the Va signature edition from Walmart, so i'm currently reading that. It's so good. Lol.
I'm dying to see HP. But like Wilda i'm going to wait awhile. the hubby has a few days off for thanksgiving so we may go on a date night then to see it.

| Finished my first week of Summer school today. Not a bad first week. Won some chocolates in my tutorial. We had two teams and 10 questions, when you knew the answer you raised your hand and said your name, you got a chocolate for a correct answer...I ended up with 5 chocolates and my team won. It was pretty fun. I wasn't really trying hard for the chocolates, I just wanted to win. I seem to have a competitive side once I'm in competitions. | |

| I've been busy cleaning and shopping. I've been nonstop for the past 2 days. I love Thanksgiving but man it's exhausting. Now that I have 5 mins to breathe, I'm spending it missing my family in NC. I haven't seen them in over 3 yrs. I grew up around them and then my mom moved us to FL when I was 13. Haven't seen some of them in about 9 yrs when I was 16. Feels like forever. Blah sorry for that.
Anyways, I gotta go back out to the store. Hopefully it's not too crazy.
Wishing everyone who celebrates Thanksgiving a wonderful day tomorrow. And those who don't, well I hope you all have a wonderful day as well!

| Lol I did make it okay but I was mouthy at people. They were irritating me by being rude and acting like they didn't have common sense. I was really considering going shopping today for Black Friday (I've never been) but after seeing how people were acting on Wednesday I decided to stay home. I'm going to see HP7 and shopping with my mom tomorrow (Saturday). Hopefully it won't be so bad. | |

| Lol Glad u decided not to go out on black friday. It's not worth in my opinion. Online has just as many sales. I mean i got blu ray dvds for 8 or 10 bucks. I got season one of nurse jackie for 10 bucks. True going to the stores would be cheaper still, more sales. But what i'll get it for 8 or 5 bucks? I'm not that greedy. I'm good with 10 bucks. It's not worth it, people really act a fool on this day. Some stores are okay, it's just like shopping the week of christmas. But others, people really start fighting and getting nasty and its not cool. I say just settle for online deals.
And ooohhh have fun at the movies. Today after 5 pm i have to call jury duty people.. I got a summons awhile ago and it says to start calling today after 5pm. I hope I've been selected for some online serving - i don't mind giving up a few hours and my minutes. But i reallyyy don't want to have to go to the court house and do jury duty. I just don't have the time for that.

| Had fun shopping with my mom but I never did get to see HP7 My mom wasn't feeling good at all. Was gonna take my daughter but she got into trouble so she couldn't go. Maybe I'll get to go next weekend. Tasha sorry about the jury duty thing. i read on fb that you have to go in early Monday morning. I hope it isn't too bad and that you don't get stuck there all day or there for more than 1 day. | |

| Yeah, i have to go to jury duty. Once i'm there i wont mind so much because well its done with and the worst part is behind . I don't mind sitting and waiting for hours, i'll just have a book. It's just the whole hassle of getting there and really I'm annoyed because when i called ( like the summons said to call) they didn't even have the decency to let me speak to a human, it was a damn automated recording involving alot of pressing ones. some reason that drove me crazy. I still dont even know how they got my name. I live pretty off the grid ( since i've never held a paying job it isn't too hard) and never been on government assistance of any sort. Plus with school i always make sure i sign the opt out forms, so the school doesn't send my names to higher education places or the military or jury duty. I just don't know how they got me. But they have and i don't mind doing my civic duty... just not NOW. It's just an inconvenient time with all the care taking i do for my dad but i just can't find a loop hole for post poning. Plus i got annoyed because their sending to a place far away and gave a whole speach about the high security and going through metal detectors and stuff. Not the way I want to spend my weekend, cleaning out my purse for items that may be a weapon like really a nail clipper and nail filer is a weapon these days | |

| From what I understand, the government automatically has your name as soon as you turn 18. I got summoned when I was 19/20 but b/c of me being a stay at home mom to a toddler, I got to get out of it. And at that time I had never had a job before so I'm assuming that they just have everyone's names and just randomly select people.
Kim, GL on your test!

| My Mom had a stress test done a few weeks ago. The tech who looked at the test told my sister (she works at the same dr's office) that my mom has some blockage but it's nothing to worry about unless she's having shortness of breath and/or chest pains. My mom is having both. But her Doctor jsut told my sister that it's nothing to worry about right now. WTF? My mom had open heart surgery 9 yrs ago and they say it only last about 10 yrs and now she is having chest pains and shortness of breath and she has some blockage but the doctor says there's nothing to worry about right now! Don't get me wrong I am relieved she doesn't have to have surgery btu I'd feel much better if they would do a cath thing and see if they can nip it in the butt before it gets to the point where she has to have surgery. I am terrified of going through that with her again. I was only 15 the first time around and now at 25 I have 2 little kids to take care of as well. I just want to scream at her doctor to do something now but he's the doctor. He knows a hell of a lot more about that than I do.
Sorry for that *sigh* I guess I just needed to get it all out.

| Wilda, my grandpa has heart complications too and he had open heart surgery and with my dad's recent heart attack.. i think those doctors are stupid. I read that like wth is wrong with them. It made me so mad. I suggest taking ur mom to the ER, and tell them she is having heart/chest pains and they will do all the testing. My dad's doctor thought my dad had a blockage and they sent him to a hospital for cardiac catherization /angiogram ( sorry i know i spelled those wrong) testing the next week. The ER may try to dismiss ya'll cause that testing is expensive but just hold your ground. Try talking to yours moms doctor again . get the referral to a specialist regardless. I hope it all gets sorted out and hope ur momma is okay! | |

| It is her specialist. Her cardiologist<sp?. They do the testing every year and this is the first time blockage has shown up since. I trust the doctor but at the same time I can't help but worry. She's my mom and we're very close. Plus she's been through this before so that doubles the worrying. Her doctor has always been good about listening to whats going on which is why they did the testing early this time. My worries over my mom is what has me second guessing everything right now. I truely believe that if things get worse something will be done then, I just didn't want to get to that point. I'd rather it be taken care of now when it's less fo a threat than later when she's in a worse condition.
Speaking of all the heart talk, how is your dad doing Tasha?

| Wilda - I hope your mum is alright and the doctor take good care of her.
So I've seen this guy around the city a few times. I didn't think I'd ever met him somewhere but he looked familiar and I couldn't figure out why. He on the same bus as me this morning and it finally clicks - He's freaking Dimitri. Well my mental picture of him.
