SB spoilers

I'm sort of looking forward to seeing a jealous side of Dimitri in the next book, when Rose and Adrian are still together. Poor Adrian though he is heading for a broken heart, and he's already walking that fine line into crazy, the broken heart would just devastate him. My money is still on Victor Dashkov killing and framing Rose. He's supposed to be the bad guy of the book so I mean come on.

I was just thinking about and something popped into my head. I wonder if Ambrose is the one who broke in and stole the documents on Eric Dragomir. He told Rose that he had been away and just got back in SB when she saw him after getting kicked out of the meeting. Maybe Tatiana had him go off and do it. I know she could have gotten the info herself but I think she wanted the info on Eric kept as private as possible. I have a feeling Ambrose may play a bigger part in LS. I don't think it was him who killed Tatiana anymore and I'm thinking he may help Rose. It's just a thought right now.

And I still think it being Victor is just too obvious. I think this enemy that was mentioned during Rose's reading is someone else. Maybe someone she would never expect. Then again you just never know.

And it would be fun to see a jealous side of Dimitri. Maybe watching Rose with Adrian will snap him out of it. I just think that if Rose and Adrian aren't going to end up together then the longer Rose is with him the harder it's going to be on both of them. I feel so bad for him I don'twant to see his heart get broken

Blessed be my heart be still! I skipped a chapter! I skipped chapter nine! I was so confused when I started reading ten, but i went back today and read it and now I understand. I'm a dumbass!

I want to see Dimitri's ass get hurt! He, oh, he made me so angry. And don't try to sway me to this "Oh he's just hurting and guilty." crap. Being an ass to Rose when she needed closure and sympathy after all that shit she and him were put through was not really needed, but whatever what do I know?! I'm just someone who has been through this, oh, say three times!

I'm sorry, I'm just very moody and I've been sick for the past month and a half.

I got my hands on SB like on Sat, but didn't start reading it until Monday. Finish it that day cause I had to know what happened, but the cliff hanger...

I have to say Lisa is starting to annoy me more then ever. I mean you can see she is a bit self-centered from the beginning, but this book and the one before it really makes me hate her. I feel Lisa really does feel like she is the most important person in the world sometimes. It is true how she wants to try and learn everything to do with Spirit every time someone mentions something new you could do with it. She did not bring Dimitri back to save him for Dimitri himself, Rose, or because she wanted to save him. Lisa did it to test to see if she actually could. She wanted to test how much power he actually had and how much of it she could master.

Which brings me to Dimitri himself. As much as I loved him until SB his little pity/guilty party he is having isn't flying in my book. How will he protect Rose by never facing her? I would think he would have gone and came face to face with Rose and tell it her straight that he doesn't want her around because he feels he has hurt her too much and might hurt her again. He is trying to take the coward's way out of the situation in my opinion. Instead he only talks to Lisa and ignores Rose. Lisa is really insensitive on the issue also. I'm starting to think Lisa doesn't give much of a d*mn how Rose feels sometimes.

And when it comes to Adrian, my heart goes out to him. He is so dedicated to Rose and loves her a lot. I'm starting to really love his character, but he is so going to be heartbroken in the end. I don't want to say it, but I do think he will be another Manson. Adrian is gonna end up giving his life to help Rose and die because he loves her. IF that happens though I will be so pissed. I would much rather it be Rose be with Dimitri, but Adrian is still alive and there for when she needs a boytoy. XD But, that would be cruel to Adrian. ><;


And I do have my money on it being Viktor who had Queen Tatiana killed. The guy is so not grateful for them getting his ass out of prison. But, then he does want the thrown for himself. And you do have to admit the guy is kinda good with working it to get what he wants.

I agree with you about everything except Victor. Yeah there's a HUGE possibility he was the one who had her killed, but I feel like Rose has another enemy that she doesn't even know she has. I have a feeling that whoever killed tatiana is going to come out as a major shocker. I could be wrong and we won't know til December. but I think it would make for a better book if it's someone other than the obvious-Victor or Ambrose.

I agree about Lissa. I really think she is self centered. I thought she was okay in the first two, but I really started to hate her in Shadow Kiss. I dont get how she doesnt see all the stuff going on with Rose. I dont know about you, but I can tell when there is something going on with my best friend. I got really mad when she tried to compel Rose to stay at the end of Shadow Kiss. That was low. Yeah, Lissa=selfish.

Rose is the best character ever Just wanted to throw that in there.

yeah that was pretty low of her. My problem with Lissa didn't come until SB with the way she acted after she saved Dimitri. I've never liked her but I've never disliked her until now.

And yeah Rose is pretty awesome She's my all time fav character.

My only other guess if it was something out of the left field would be Ambrose for some reason... but that just seem off still. But, the chances are really high that it is Victor.

Richelle has addressed the name change issue. Apparently she forgot she already named Mikhail in VA and named him Tomas in SB but then she realized it and managed to fix the US editions in time but it was too late for the UK and Australia ones. She said his name should be fixed in LS unless the publishers for UK and Australia decide to keep him as Tomas. It's on here recent blog.

Just saw that there...ok, so a typo. We sort of guessed that one already. I wonder if Penguin Australia will change their prints or if we'll keep Tomas Sanders, or if it'll be different in the next books? I sort of hope if gets changed back because I liked Mikhail Tanner as a name, and then my copy will be like a special edition

Noticed some more foreshadowing. I'm reading the first book again and I saw this quote which put me back into Spirit Bound mode

Very interesting! I still don't think Rose did it but yeah.

the whole time I was sure that Viktor doesn't kill the queen, because I thought that would be too easy. but I read the short describtion on amazon for last sacrifice and now I'm not sure... it says that Lissa is in charge for the next queen and that's something Viktor also wants because he can't be the first of the moroi anymore. I think it was in SK where he said that Lissa would be perfect to be the leader because she would change the laws and stuff too. what do you think?

So we knew about the cliffhanger all along. I bet we could figure out Last Sacrifice with a little investigating.

The whole time i was reading the book, i was saying out loud to myself "omg, omg, omg"

I was SO happy that they found out how to put spirit into the stake to bring Dimitri back to life.

Although, i was NOT happy they had to break Victor out of prison, && then they lost him!

I was very sad that Dimitri just sorta shut Rose out. I mean, i understand what he did, would make him uncomfortable around Rose. But, i dont know, my heart sorta went out to Rose. I felt bad.

If i were rose, i would be ticked, that Lisa & Dimitri had this whole, thing together. Even if it wasnt romance between them, he still talked to Lisa, when he didnt talk to rose. And yes, Lisa had staked him, she had done the dirty work, but Rose went to all the trouble, she found out the information, so, i mean, it was just as much her job, as Lisa's.

I love Adrian, and my heart breaks for him. I mean, he's a great guy, and i know his feelings for rose are legit. I mean, he was so sweet in this book. Whatever happens between the two of them, (adrian & rose) i hope they are close friends, and Adrian doesnt get hurt too bad! But, i still want Rose & Dimitri together. But sadly enough, im doubting that will happen. I dont know, i mean, i hope they end up together, but when Dimitri said, "love fades, mine has" i might have believed him, but also, even after that they had sparks, and he DID defend her when the queens guards tried to arrest her...

About that, im not sure who tried to set her up...Ambrose, Victor, maybe even Abe. I mean, this is far fetched, but..i know Abe has connections & all, but, he did seem pretty confident that he could get her out of this, but, even if he did kill her, im not sure why he would be putting himself in the middle. So it's probably not him, but still, its a possibility.

I was so ticked at Daniella for telling the Janitor to say a different time, just for the sake of her kid. I liked her in the beginning, i mean, she was cool with Rose & Adrian...omg, i just realized something. It could have been Daniella, i mean, when the queen came to dinner with all of them, it had mentioned how she never really liked the queen, and that might explain why she was acting so suspicious...i dont know, just a thought.

Whatever happens between Dimitri & Rose, i will always love Dimitri. I know he tried to change her, but he wasnt himself. && even though he did all of those terrible things, it wasnt his fault & i hope he forgives himself. And forgiving himself, would mean, letting rose forgive him.

Hopefully Rose gets out of jail, i mean, its obvious she will. My heart would break, if at the end of the last sacrifice, she got executed or something. But i doubt the whole book would be about rose in jail. Hopefuilly the "last sacrifice" isnt Dimitri dying. I love him too much (:
