What are you currently reading?

I'm currently re-reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, while I'm off school, ill. I want to remember most of the book by when the film comes out to the cinema. The film is going to be a bit scary I think, in bits, so I want to know when those bits come up, so I'm not quite as scared.

Evermore, by Alison Noel. I'm not, like, fascinated, but it's good.

Some girls bite by Chloe Noel

Some Girls Bite is on my TBR list. Let me know how it is.

Just finished reading Lament. It was really good. Gonna start reading Ballad sometime today.

I'm almost done with the book only a hundred pages left. It's a nice book but I like the story but there is not a lot of action in it. It's just a girl comming to terms with the fact that she's a vampire.
But it's still fun to read

It's taking me a bit longer to get through Ballad than it did Lament. I'm not really liking reading about James and Naula...

I'm about half way through Some Girls Bite. It's the first book in Chloe Neill's Chicagoland Vampies series. It's really good. I'm already rooting for Merit and Ethan to become a couple.

I'm reading city of bones book one of the mortal instrumens series by Cassandra Clare and I love it!!!!

MI is one of ym fav series. The books only get better imo.

I still have yet to finish Ballad...I'm going to attempt to finish it today unless my other books come in before then.

I've read City of bones and I just started City of ashes I really like the books!!

I just finished Some Girls Bite. Loved it. I think I found a second favorite vampire series, after Vampire Academy of course. Now I'm reading I Am Number Four.

Right now I'm reading a book of my secound favorite series: WATER BOUND from Christine Feehan. I just LOVE the Drake Sisters / Sea Heaven novels. They're awesome!

Finished Catching Fire on Sunday. Took a break from it yesterday, Going to start Mockingjay tonight.

I saw previews for the movie version of I Am Number Four. I want to see it. It looks interesting.

I finally finished Ballad last night. It got better but its not as good as Lament imo. I guess I'm going to start reading a series I've put off since I bought them back in Feb. Succubus in The City and Succubus Takes Manhattan by Nina Harper. Everytime I go to read them something I want to read more comes along. Watch my books arrive while I'm reading this series...

I just finished Ballad today, i thought it was pretty good, I really liked the chemistry between nuala and james. I just downloaded Clockwork angel by cassaundra claire I'm excited to read it since I love TMI so much.

By the end of the book I liked Nuala but I really disliked her for the first half of the book. I just wish I could have seen more of what Dee was going through. Just like a few chapters here and there instead of those text. I feel bad for her about Luke but it was bound to happen. It'd be interesting to see a third book come out. Maggie left a little room for 1 more so who knows.

Has anyone read Blood and Chocolate? I just watched the movie and was wondering if the book was any good. Most reviews say it's not worth the read and that the movie is better.

I've read blood & chocolate and I really liked the book. I'm reading shiver again, I met Maggie Stiefvater last night so I really wanted to read her books again

It actually quite a bit like Roswell. The only major plot difference is instead of being hunted down by the government the alien characters are being hunted down and killed by other aliens. I don't quite like the author's writing style but the plot is solid enough that I'm willing to overlook my issues with the writing. If you liked Roswell then I'd suggest you give I Am Number Four a try.

I've heard more positive than negative reviews about Blood and Chocolate. I read another book by the same author, The Silver Kiss, and I thought it was fantastic. So Blood and Chocolate is definitely on my reading list.

Just saw the tralier it just seems like Roswell with more special effects minus the Edward/Bella like love btwn Max and Liz and the number of aliens on earth. Roswell had aliens trying to kill aliens too.

Yeah but that wasn't really the main plot. It was more about four teenage aliens trying to hide from the government while they tried to find a way to get back home.

The film rights were purchased for the book before it was published.

I've been wanting to re-read VA before LS comes out. I want to see if I can pick up on any foreshadowing I missed before about the two cliffhangers from Spirit Bound. I have a class starting on monday, though, that goes on until the week before Christmas so I don't know if I'm going to have the time to re-read the entire series before Last Sacrifice is released.

I tried reading the first book in the House of Night series and I really hated it. The dialogue was horrible and all the characters were over the top stereotypes. I can usually still enjoy a series even if it's poorly written, but that just wasn't the case with House of Night. You may feel differently, though, so I'm not going to say you should or shouldn't read it. I'd suggest you just not have high expectations with this series. That may have been why I wasn't able to enjoy it, because I wasn't able to overlook the problems I had with the book and just focus on the story.

Ok, I was gonna buy the book either way, I just wanted to hear some opinions first! Because I've heard a lot about it, so....

That's why I bought the first book too. A lot of people had been suggesting it which got me interested in the series. The House of Night series has gotten a lot of mixed reviews, so let me know what you think of it. I really hated it but I'm always interested in hearing other people's take on the series because it seems like a lot of people, whether their opinions are negative or positive, always have something different they like or hate about the series.
