| Yeah, me too. I think at the moment he's holding onto the hope that Rose will change her mind, but I doubt that is likely to happen any time soon and I'd hate for Adrian to be sitting around waiting for Rose to get her act together. | |

| I think for a little while he will, until he knows all the details of Rose's quest for Dimitri. He's already asked her to try and work things out with him, so by asking her to give them a try it tells us he's going to do some sort of waiting. | |

| I don't think I'd hate him, because it shows how much he cares for her and want to make them work together. But I'd definitely feel sorry for him, because we all know just how much Rose loves Dimitri and though Adrian knows they (R&D) have a connection I think he doesn't realise just how deep it really is. | |

| haha, I thought that's what you meant but then I considered the possibility that "sut" might be some American slang for something I had not idea about and so had to ask.
Nah, I think he's probably fairly responsible in that department. He might fool around occasionally but I doubt to the extent the rumours describe. | |

I don't get how he and Lissa could have missed Avery's spirit. Even I picked it up and I know Avery was pretty damn powerful, but Adrian at least has been seeing auras his whole life, you'd think something would have been noticed. Not that I hold it against him, I still do very much like him

She can't have had control over the compulsion the whole time...though I suppose she was making them both drink a fair bit, so that would have shut down the system a bit...except Adrian's kind of used to that drug already. And in Frostbite, when Lissa and Adrian brushed arms they seemed to recognise that the other was like them...so why didn't that occur with Avery too?
