That's exactly my worries. I want the happily ever after to be realistic. To be fought for and to be earned. I don't want the obvious to happy. For instance i want Dimitri to be saved but of course that transition shouldn't be easy peasey. No one comes back from that unscathed u know what i mean? That's why i say i hope the cover is Dimitri and Rose but i hope the story itself isn't simply Rose and co save Dimitri happily ever after. I like to think of the cover as a symbol of what Rose is fighting for... fighting for her happy ending.

| ^Even Star Wars manages to earn their happy endings, mainly through means of kombat, which is where twilight failed miserably, at that department, isn't it?The only real up-side to introducing Renesmee, was really that later on, one of my friends ended up introducing a half-vampiress along the lines of Lissa Dragomir, who somehow ended up sharing Renesmee's strengths, except i'd like to think they're somehow earned, instead of just being given to them, for free!
My friend's R.P half-vampiress' name, was Isabella Black, if you are planning to ask, but just be glad for the most part, she's excising the stupid out of the twi-sequels.

(And since so far Rose hasn't got everything she wants easily I have a good feeling it will be a realistic happy ending). But it's like with all those hopes that Dimitri will be saved and come back as a Moroi so that Rose and him can have kids. I personally hate that theory because it leaves the impression that happy endings must result in children. Since when is children the only end to a story?

The only happy ending I want is for Dimitri to come back the way he was and for R/D to be together at the end. That's all I care about. I could care less whether they have children. And besides, I'm sure Lissa will have kids with Christian some day. I think Rose would be perfectly happy to be the Dragomir's family guardian. She would love Lissa's and Christian's kids as her own.

Haha yes I did!! Rose doesn't need to have kids to have a happy life. Like I said, I'm certain Rose would love Lissa's kids like her own.

| ^I thought everything about the-series-that-must-not-be-named was a lie, to begin with!
So i don't see how trying to live up to everything right about your predecessors[as P.J.O often does with The Dark Is Rising and the Potter-World!]or trying real hard to live it down[as V.A is doing when it comes to the series that must not be named with a bad ending!] is a waste of time.

| Ok.... How do you think Adrian will be involved in Dimitri's return? A lot of people seem to think that he could possibly bring Dimitri back with Spirit by making Dimitri shadow kissed. Personally, I don't think it works that way with Strigoi because Strigoi aren't *dead*. Only *dead* things come back shadow kissed. Like Rose and like the raven. | |

| Think about it , Rose wants to " free" him ....meaning she wants to kill him . If she kills him there be a chance for Adrian or another spirit user to bring him back | |

| As the Super-Genius Rorschach of the Potter-foruums once said...point, proven.
That said, Chris, i won't go there, it's already pointed out, like Sky High, in a way.

| But if Dimitri's not "dead" but can be healed, what's the point of killing him in the first place? | |

| I don't know. If there's a chance that Dimitri won't be shadow-kissed (and I don't think he will because he's not actually dead) then perhaps Adrian, Lissa, Robert (if they find him) and Oksana (if she'll have anything to do with them) could take turns healing him? That way not one person is overly strained to bring Dimitri back. Or maybe Robert will be the only one to do it because he's become far more crazy since he lost his own shadow-kissed bondmate and really needs another? | |

| I honestly can't think of enough of an argument to continue today or think up solutions etc.. I barely have enough thinking sapce for my essay while this stupid headache is pounding away at my brain. (god, totally understand how Rose feels in Shadow Kiss right now, only I suppose mine's more managable...I'm not seeing ghosts) | |

| Adrian reminds me so much of Steff from the movie 'Pretty in pink', does he anyone else? Only the much improved 'cousin' of Steff. On the whole Dimitri/Adrian issue of whose better for Rose to end up with... I don't think Rose is good enough for either of them and I certainly don't feel she is Dimitri's soul mate. She's never herself around Dimitri, she's always trying to prove herself and she isn't instantly comfortable/confident around him as you would be with a soul mate. That immaturity isn't the age difference either, that's just Rose. I've seen 5 yr olds with more respect and dignity then Rose has shown. She'll never appreciate Adrian either or what he goes through, or how much he loves Rose either for that matter. I've secretly hoped Richelle throws us all for a loop and brings someone new and perfect for Rose into the series and has her end up with him. Dimitri is my fav character, I'm an older fan (when it comes to the average age around here) and can relate to him the best. Others have said that Dimitri falling for Rose w/her being such a young age is wrong... yeah, it is disgusting to me. You won't understand it till you reach the age but there are light years between the two of them as in terms of life experience, Dimitri himself said so yet he ignored his own words... *rolls eyes* lol The different frame of mine you are in from simply 18 to 21 is so different, you're still adding it up to meet Dimitri's maturity. Dimitri from the start came across as having such control it shocks me he'd allow himself to fall for someone so young, even though Rose learned he's always a pinch away from loosing his temper. You expect falling for a kid while working in a school of the 'average' man.. like Adrian. *cough* but not Dimitri. - Spoiler:
*SPOILER* I was overjoyed when Tasha gave him that offer and my jaw dropped when he turned it down... what a loss for them both. Maybe he'll yet be cured from his Strigoi madness through the power of a moroi charmed ring, come to his senses completely and marry Tasha after all.
I guess Rose's 'body' mixed in with all the usual euro stick-thin girls, so common in their world is just too much to refuse, it seems to unplug the male brain. I say that honestly not hatefully, I mean her childish behavior and choices certainly don't make her brains any more attractive, eh? She doesn't exactly commit to anything - Spoiler:
other than killing Dimitri
either. You know when a story touches your heart when you start to nitpick it so harshly, lol. Rose deserves her perfect mate, I just don't see that in Dimitri or Adrian.
