SB First chapter

I can't believe Rose is with Adrian now.That was really fast although i believe the relationship will end when Adrian finds out about her plans.I wonder if Dimitri knows about him...Can't wait for May!!!!

I actually think Dimitri would know about Adrian and Rose, he may not be letting it on in her letters that he sends, but I reckon he knows a lot more about Rose's everyday life than we think he does.

If he does know and hasn't told her about it it's cool and weird at the same time

Dimitri knows everything. Just my opinion. Lol. He always has and always will. At least that's the Dimitri in my mind. I find it romantic. Not creepy. Lol. Morbidly and darkly. But romantic.

Yeah, I don't find it creepy either....which is insane, because if I met someone in real life who appeared to know everything about both me and the world around me I'd freak out that that person was some sort of stalker and I'd probably go crazy. But when it's Dimitri it's ok, because he's cool. Characters in literature get away with murder...for me, most can't do wrong, lol

I think it is kind of relaxing to know that Dimitri knows all! hahahaha I cant wait to see how it will play out though too... I soo cant wait for the akward moment when Dimitri, Rosa, and Adrian are all together.. hahaha its going to be soo funny... ^__^

I don't know if it'll be funny or dangerous. I mean, Rose might have a chance at surviving another encounter with Dimitri, but Adrian most definitely wont. Not only is Adrian not really build for fighting, but Dimitri is still sllightly possessive of Rose. Unless of course you're meaning a post-strigoi Dimitri (if that proves to be possible) in which case it might be slightly awkward.

It could be true that Dimitri knows more about Rose's everyday life than we'd think (like he said, he's watching), but it seems as though he still doesn't know that Abe is Rose's father? I still want to know what the deal with that was!! Why did he want her to stay away from Abe?

I keep thinking of the tragic star crossed lovers Romeo and Juliet. What if Dimitri follows though and kills rose while still a Strigoi, then lissa and or Adrian brought him back not knowing she was dead then he's a dhampir again and tormented over killing Rose so he kills himself.

I highly doubt that will happen. a) because I'm still not 100% sold on the spirit people bringing Dimitri back to life and b) because it's told in Rose's POV. You're almost guaranteed she's going to live unless there's a 2-3 page epilogue told from someone else's POV. It wouldn't be VA if a whole heap of the story was told from someone else's view. I know we see into Lissa's head a fair bit and would be alright if it was her talking, but even then we have Rose's thoughts overlapping her scenes and we're influenced more by how Rose views the situation than Lissa completely.
