Honestly, I don't know how she's got you feeling this way. I'm pretty shocked really. I thought she was an amazing protagonist.

The way she thinks about Peeta even tho he just wants to be nice ( I haven't read past the interview so I don't know if it was a plot of his or was him being honest) The score , the things she said about her mom....yeah I do get that if my mother was like hers I would probably dislike her too but.....her attitude is what I hate the most .

I think it's more of a development that was necessary for her. You can't live in that sort of world and trust everyone completely, nor can you rely on everyone you love. It's essential for Katniss to have developed some sort of defence for it all.

Well we can't hate her for not understanding how epically awesome Katniss is. And loving her for her attitude.

Yeah, the romance side of things is an equal favourite of mine. Adventure/action is up there at the top of my list of faves too. So HG really pulls through on both of those
