I must say, i'm definitely anti- Gale at this point. I think Peeta and Katniss are a much better fit. I get annoyed at Katniss too for running from her feelings and being so oblivious and calculating about Peeta's feelings. She needs to just FEEL already. Other wise, i adore her. I can't believe that island. I was a little mad the way things ended. It kind of rush-ed ending imo. WHile i was like a kid on candy happy about the rebellion I was so PISSED it happened the way it did. I was just as angry as Katniss at being used as a pawn. I feel really bad for her, she's been used by everybody. And poor Peeta! They couldn;t rescue him? bah. I really enjoyed the book though. Can't wait to read Mockingjay.
Oh and i cried when Cinna was beat up right before the Games started. I hope he lived.

Catching Fire was my most favorite of the trilogy. I LOVED HG, but CF was just my absofave book because of all the bits with Katniss and Peeta. And the beach scene... *sigh* I think the trilogy ends the way it needs to with Mockingjay. It might not be perfect, but it's what has to happen. It's really devastating though so be prepared.  | |
