| Eww... I don't like District 2. Bunch of crazy ass people there. I wish I'd gotten like District 3 or something. Cause then I could play with all the electronic gadgety things I make. District 4 and I wouldn't mesh because I hate seafood. | |

| I don't know if they'll be played over here...and if they are it'll be on Monday anyway. I'll probably have to wait until it's up on youtube or something. | |

| And a youtube clip, for those of us who can't view it on MTV's website because they suck at letting people outside of the US view their videos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=rTXyweH6XhA I liked the clip, it made me excited for more. I wish Peeta had been in it though, since we got Katniss running and Gale's voice. Still super awesome. | |

| That just proves it. MTV sucks. But I've known that for years. I can't stand ANY of the crap that comes on. However, I'll be interested once they begin the new Beavis and Butthead episodes... Yeah, I thought the teaser was pretty cool. My brother thought it was disappointing though, but he hasn't read the book so he doesn't realize. I explained to him about the fire... and he was like "not that they explain that in the clip" and I said "there's this place you can go to get all the spoilers... it's called READING THE BOOK". He says he's going to wait for the cliff notes in March though. | |

| LOL! I understand why he'd be confused though...to us it's all exciting and makes heaps of sense, but to people who haven't read the book, it's just Jennifer Lawrence running and Liam Hemsworth talking about hunting. | |

| I'm so freaking excited about the trailer. I've watched it about 4 times in the last half hour. It looks amazing! I got shivers seeing Katniss and Peeta together and Katniss volunteering. OMG! I want it to be March already. | |

| My friend and I were talking about seeing it at a Midnight screening...neither of us like midnight screenings because it means staying up heaps late, but we're seriously considering doing it for THG. | |

| Me too Libby! The part where Katniss screams "I VOLUNTEER!" actually brought tears to my eyes. I think she'll do an amazing job! I'd love to go to a midnight screening, but I have no one to go with Too bad we all don't live near eachother. That'd be a fun event! | |

| I'm such a nanna sometimes, I really don't like the idea of staying up until midnight to start a movie But I definitely think I'll give it a go for Hunger Games. It just looks so awesome. I know, it would be so much fun if we could all get together to see it. The one downside to international forums, being so far apart from everyone | |

| I can't believe i waited so long to read the hunger games. I specifically avoided it cause of Stephanie Meyers recommendation of it a few years ago. I didn't want to be a band wagon reader or follow the twilight crowd hype with doing everything and everything SM said. But over the years you all have been reading and talking about these books and i finally picked it for Christmas. After the first chapter i could not put the book down. It's just the stuff i love. dystopian world. The wilderness. Hunters. I just loved the world from the start( even though its a really really messed up world). - Spoiler:
I was close to tears when Katniss volunteered for Prim and damn near choking back tears when Rue was killed. I'm so conflicted about Gale. At first i was like aw i want them to be together. But then as the story went on i wanted her to be with Peeta. I'm just going to keep reading. I'm too anxious to find out what happens.

| I'm so glad you liked it Tasha. It's a really good series. I laughed at you not-doing-everything-SM-said thing, and totally agree though. But this time she sort of had it right. Enjoy Catching Fire. | |

| It's been over a year since I read them and I still haven't found anything as good to read. Just thinking which out of three is my favourite. I can't choose.
I didn't even know SM recommended it given its lack of sparkly characters.

| SM is the reason why I read The Mortal Instruments series, but I had no clue she recommended THG too. Her writing may not be the best, but at least she has good tastes in books.
I think the first book is my fav then again Catching Fire is amazing too. Mockingjay is really good as well, but its my least fav of the 3.
