| I don't understand why everyone these days feels it's necessary to split up the content of a book like that. I mean, I get why they did it for HP or The Hobbit. But for Mockingjay it doesn't make sense. The plot isn't all that extravagant, and there really isn't a whole lot of stuff they'd need an extra movie to explain. It sounds to me like they're only doing it to be trendy. | |

| For Breaking Dawn it makes sense - its 700+ pages. How long is Mockingjay. Can't be more than 400. They'd probably add fighting going on elsewhere. Some more Gale maybe. | |

| I guess they could be adding in Peeta's perspective in Mockingjay...but I still can't see them dragging that out for more than one movie. I know it's not definite that Mockingjay will be the split movie, they just said the series would be in 4 movies...but I can't see them breaking up ANY of the books. Unless they did all the pre-quarter quell stuff in one movie (the fake wedding/life in district 12 crap) and then the quarter quell in the next movie, but that'd make the first half really crap, nothing much happens and I think it was the shortest book, so there's not a lot to expand on.
ugh. I hope they reconsider and only make 3 books.

| I don't like filler. They should just do 3 movies, one for each book. | |

| Is it official or is the studio just playing around with the screenplays for 2 and 3? | |

| As far as I've heard it's not official. I think it's just rumours. I don't even know where they started. For all we know some fan said they should make it into 4 movies, and people have run away with it. I guess we just wait and see | |

| So... I read the other day that Danny Elfman will be composing the soundtrack with some guy named T-Bone Burnett. If you don't know who Danny Elfman is, he basically has composed all Tim Burton movie soundtracks (Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, Corpse Bride, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, etc). lol Oh, and The Simpsons Theme. I'm sure he's probably composed for other movies as well, but I really only know him from the Tim Burton ones.
What do you guys think about this? I kinda think it's an odd match, but I'm also sort of going off the Tim Burton thing. Though since he'll be working alongside that other guy, it might turn out to be very interesting, but I've never heard any of T-Bone Burnett's compositions...

| I'm not a fan of that particular picture, but I like the others. Liam and Josh are finally looking like Gale and Peeta. | |

| I'm not convinced of Liam as Gale, but I think Josh looks pretty good as Peeta. I did think he'd be blonder, but at least they bothered to dye it at all. | |

| I acually think District 4 is one of the Career districts too, but you forget that because of Mags and Finnick and Annie...they're all too sweet to be Careers. | |
