Not another House of Night (or Twilight)

really people. what if we made a book and the hero was a female human who was a badass and kicked the butts of all the vampires

you know what I would love? a Vampire Story where the Human girl chooses the Human boy over the vampire

Considering its suddenly a crime to be human, it means its a crime to be a warrior, isn't it?

Didn't the Vampire Chronicles, Cirque Du Freak, and even Vampire Academy manage to carefully or brutally avert, or even at times subvert, the rapidly rising trend to Redshirtify Humanity?

Do not get me started on Castlevania or Hellsing and all the subversions that are installed, every time.

That say, how about we do 5 betters and have a series where a faction of human protagonists are not supposed to be redshirts, and have enough of a tech and strategic advantage to not fall behind?

Granted, that might border on Humans are Soldiers, but unless anyone has better ideas, that's all i got for now.

Although i might be understanding if there are female bi-sexual vamps in the series in question(I am not sure it counts as a series, but World of Darkness has bisexual female Vamps, in there, and they admitted that they are bi!) but i digress.

I guess i want the Sub-genre to become a genre in its own right, once more, so what better way to do it than for an Anti-government storyline with the Vamps getting targeted as the Government?

I read most of the first book of Cirque Du Freak but after awhile it bored me but it would be awesomely amazing if there was a book where the human girl took the human guy over the vamp guy

I feel Darren must be infinitely more tolerable than Redbird and Bella, at this rate.
Then again, this is coming from the guy who wants to see Redbird get tough love and Bella beaten to a bloody pulp, many times over, so....

Darren's more tolerable because he became a vamp to save his best friend and he's only a half-vamp. Bella on the other hand could be beaten to a bloody, disgusting, moody, angsty pile of mush anytime for all I care............and Tony, if you're a guy why is your avatar a girl???? you don't have to tell me but I'm kinda wondering about it

Darren develops farther, the more you make an effort to read the rest of the series, i can tell you that much in all honesty.

That said, either way i am glad i can stand Rose and Company in this series, because otherwise i may not be here today.
As for your question let's just say that i miss the likes of The Tsundere as of late.

well If I had the tolerability to read more of Cirque Du Freak then I would but it honestly bored me after the first 13 chapters

HoN was a great series, but this one is definitely better. The House of Night was very vibrant, yes, I don't disagree with that... But, this story... This story is something different, and with HoN, I kind of expected what happens next. In VA it's much better.

Yes, because if we must go on a maiming spree, we should at least know the people who must be spared, because they are easier to list out than the ones that cannot be spared.
