Nyx according to the HoN book is the Goddess of Night. I have seen her mentioned in the Succubus series by Richelle Mead. She is billed there as some Goddess of Dreams. She shows people dreams and says that all that she shows is true and will happen.

Nyx is a Goddess of the Ancient Olympian tales, Dancer, and i checked that up from a very-well-dated encyclopedia on world mysticisms, if it helps.

it says in the book that nyx was also known as gaea who is mother nature... if that helps any of those who are confused..

That's debatable, at best.The only thing i knew for sure from the Encyclopedia, is that Nyx is a Night-Goddess of the ancient Olympian Tales, but beyond that...she wasn't heard from, in P.J.A.T.O, i know that much, i wonder why.

Nyx is technically Morpheus's Grandmother[Morpheus(The namesake for The Officer of Neo's home Crew of the same name, from the Matrix Trilogy!) is a son of one of her children, Hypnos, whose name means Sleep, if i recalled right!Morpheus is a God of Dreams who is also from the Ancient Olympian Tales, as Nyx's grandchild was also seen in the Percy Jackson And The Olympians novels, as well[i wonder why isn't Nyx in the series, as well, though? ]

If we have Phobia from one of Ares' immortal sons, Phobos, then it would make sense for Morphine to somehow come from Morpheus, really, Dancer.

i know its a good series! and i'll try those series out i think i saw them they looked good.

nyx has been portrayed in hon, the olympians, and succubus. In each one they've taken the idea of her and molded her character and abilities to fit the story line. Nyx is an entity in the literary world, a background from some truth but just an entity waiting to be molded.

So it's hard to tell if that's really the real Nyx, isn't it?

Nyx is subjective so yes that was the real nyx.

An immortal that was never mortal is a true immortal. Leaving out litterary context and going back to the basics Nyx is rather error proof in a sense that Bella and Rose and Georgina do not exist in this time context as Nyx. Nyx is all powerful and undefeatable here. Coming back to your syntax Nyx is weak, and isn't quite error proof for the sake of form within the pages of a story. Nyx is bound by the book that holds her. So in this case your Olympian Tales hold no special meaning. The power of Nyx rests with the creator and thus it is only then they decided what is and what is not error proof. Immortal or not.

You mean...Nyx is far more unknown than the Olympian Gods with Kronos's Blood in their veins[Plus Aphrodite!] are, in terms of means of thinking, Jill?That might help...i didn't say Nyx was weak, i mentioned she could make a mistake, at times...yet your logic makes better sense than mine, here, Jill, does that make sense?

So if it does come to all out war, and the Olympian Demi-Gods and their allies may have to fight the worlds of Vampire Academy, House Of Night, and Twilight, they'd have to have the ancient Gods of all the worlds to back out of the fighting, and contain the damages, if negotiations should fail, right, Jill?Morpheus is Nyx's Grandson, as well, i can't forget that much.

^Which would make matters worse, since we have no way to know if all the Collateral Damages will be contained, let alone if all the stupid will be completely cleansed off the planet, including the twi-trolls and the Strigoi, even.That said, if anyone must be the Moroi's Adam + Eve, Christian and Lissa will be the ones meant for the task!

At last, a fool-proof way to cleanse the stupid out of the Vampire-Sub-Genre, with Mr. Tiny enjoying the Chaos of such kombat while the Vampire Mountain Vampires and the Vampaneze are forced to work together to contain the collateral damages, from the side-lines!

I decided to down load the book today so i guess I'll be reading it some time in the near future. Still have a few more from another series to wrap up.
