Was there foreshadowing about Robbie liking Bree? I can't figure out whether picked up on it or if I just remembered.

yes there was. I'm having a hard time keeping BOS and The coven separate though. BUt the incidents of foreshadowing I remember were Robbie giving looks alot when Bree was dating, what's his name Chris. During the circle when Morgan looked around she assess what everyone was looking at and she saw Robbie looking at Bree, but that scene we're focused on Cal looking at her. Then when Morgan was first discovering her powers and she met up with the coven at their stop at school and she was "feeling" everyone, she got a zap or jealousy and longing ( before Bree and her weren't friends, that was Robbie thinking of Bree) and then it became obvious in The Coven like when they were playing volley ball and Morgan finally noticed it and of course when Robbie got pissed off and told what's his name, Seth i think, to take a hike.

I thought more happened in this book, they really do blur together...well I guess I don't mean more happening, but stuff still happens: adoption/Bree & Raven leaving/discovering the Book of Shadows at the end...but I thought there were a few more scenes that happened in this book, guess I was wrong.

I know we've discussed the Bitchy Bree stuff endlessly, but there was a line Tamara said that I thought summed up the situation perfectly: "I can't believe she's being such a bad sport about this. I mean, they didn't even go out. Besides, she can have any other guy she wants. Does she really have to have them all?"

I'm picking up on some foreshadowing about Morgan's clan. Not sure if its because of instinct or some memory of the series. I was thinking its weird that Morgan is not totally truthful with Cal about the lightening ball incident with Bakker. Aren't they supposed to be murin beatha dan?* When I read the volleyball scene. I was like I knew he liked Bree. I got a feeling about it reading BOS when everyones over at Morgan's at the beginning of the book.

Yeah, the Robbie/Bree thing I notice more because of memory...remembering that he has a thing for her at the beginning.

I wasnt shocked at all when Morgan found out that she's adopted. I know they are hiding something though. Something that feels important.

Bree, Raven, and Beth leaving the Coven feels wrong. I have a very bad feeling about what they are getting into.

I got a feeling of unease after Morgan left Cal's after she did that circle with his mom. The triumphant smile just, Idk! Its hard to explain but I feel like maybe her and Cal are hiding something. or at leats she is. I love Cal, but idk if I completely trust him just yet.

I will ask for a spoiler. I just want to know is Cal trustable?

I didn't guess that Morgan was adopted, but it doesn't suprise me at all b/c a lot of stories seem to surround the main character being adopted and finding out major secrets and stuff about who they really are.

Bree and Morgana re playing vollyball and Bree is flaunting the fact that every gur wants her to Morgan when Morgan realizes Robbie likes Bree and then she flashes Cal's necklace to Bree and Bree slams the vollyball in Morgan's face. Haven't read past the horrofied expression and Bree mouthing "I'm sorry". What a bitch.

I...ummm...well, I read the last couple pages of BW even though i have yet to finish The Coven. Although I did read the last page of it too. So this is what i know...Cal's mom had Morgan's mother's shadow book hiding in her little secret lair. Hunter and some chick are the leaders of that other coven that Bree and Raven joined. Hunter claims that Cal is a Woodbane and then I swear Cal does something to Morgan. He makes her brain a bit fuzzy or something and she ends up saving him and Hunter goes over the cliff.

So at this point, I don't trust anyone. Idk what to believe. All i know is that Cal was looking for someone in book 1 and that person ended up being Morgan. I can't help but feel like she's being used but at the same time I like Cal. I think this is the first time I've ever been torn on the trust issue. Normally I have a strong gut feeling (its usually right too), but this time I don't know what to believe.....

Hunter is Cal's brother?!?!?! And Hunter says Morgan and Cal are both Woodbane?!

There's something big going on and I can't place my finger on it. I've had a suspicion that Cal wasn't being honest with Morgan, but the vibe she gets from Hunter isn't exactly reassuring either.

Ok so I really don't trust Cal. Not after he made Morgan's mind all fuzzy and crap. I'm still a little confused over Hunter. The end he sounded like he was really trying to help her. Plus all those BOS entries of his? He just doesn't seem like the bad guy.

OH and that bit about Raven and Matt? WTF??? Really? How can Matt do that to Jenna?? He seems so confused and its almost like someone is trying to cast a spell on him. I may be way off with that but the whole Raven thing just seems off.

I like that you're judging Hunter from not only his actions but his BOS entires. I really like the BOS stuff, it gives you extra insights into the characters, even in the first 2 books where we had Maeve and Cal's entires. With all your reservations about Cal and whether he's trust worthy or not, are you still surprised that Hunter said he was Woodbane?

No, I wasn't surprised that Hunter said Cal is a Woodbane. For some reason I had already guessed that. But the bit about Morgan being Woodbane? Yeah that one caught me by surprise. And I never saw Hunter being Cal's brother coming.

I have a feeling the surprises are just beginning...

Yeah, it's a bit of a shock, Hunter popping up out of no-where and having him be so entangled in everything already. And he's so stern and official, you're all "Who is this guy?"

Wasn't it mentioned somewhere in book 2 that Belwicket (Maeve's coven) was a Woodbane coven though? ... or maybe I'm jumping ahead of myself. This is what happens when you reread a series, all the events blur into one and I can never remember when something is said or happens. I seriously though a whole heap of other events happened in BW, so I'm waiting for a few other things to pop up, I think they happen in the next book, so you're in for a wild ride.
