I agree about the whole skinny dipping thing. I was like wtf? I would have been the Morgan of that party as well and I completely respect her for not caving into the pressure and just joining in. Major points for that!

Yeah I have to say... that whole skinny dipping bit was really strange. I know I'd have probably been like Morgan, but I'd have gotten the hell out of there before Cal took off his clothes. lol I mean, I wouldn't want to see people I go to school with naked for any reason. And at least two of those people she'd known her whole life... some boundaries should not be crossed.

The bit about Morgan not wearing/needing a bra was hilarious though.

I do get annoyed with Morgan's self deprecation. I'm glad she banished limitations because otherwise i don't think she would of had the openness to Wicca and magicak and herbs and even the guts to keep exploring even is she has to hide it from her parents. It broke my heart when Morgan cried when she couldnt go to the circle and over Cal. Her first crush. But i respected her even more putting her friend first. Even if that friend is a bitch. I forgot how emotionally attached i get reading this series. It brings back so many memories.

Forgot how much of a bitch Bree was. The car scene really pissed me off. why even show up if you're going to be mean. Morgan is pretty self less. She could've snuck of to the circles but she didn't.

Read a page of Blood Witch. It reminded me of how the series really gets better with every book.

I hated the library scene, where Bree comes up and is all "You can be my friend again in a few weeks. Cal and I slept together, so I don't have to hate you any more."

Bree is such a bitch. But i couldnt help getting all hype when Bree said " when did you become such a bitch" and Morgan responded " maybe I've been with one for too long" .... i was like YEAH all happy and excited Morgan stood up for herself. I laughed when Morgan was all blissful and happy after the circle and touched a flower bringing it back to life and Cal was all like " stop touching things". It was a rather abrupt ending and i was turning the page to read more. Then realized it was the second book. Thats the hard part of having the volume, You can keep just turning pages lol. But I'll wait till the 14th to read it. Which shouldnt be hard. It's my sisters birthday tomorrow and Bianca is going to the vet today for her booster shots. But, I can't get enough of these books. I heart them.

Did anyone guess she was adopted? I know Wilda was saying stuff about Mary Grace being a hypocrit because if Morgan was a blood witch she'd be one too, but did you think she wasn't from that family? I can't remember my original reaction, I think I already knew from reading them out of order, but I can't imagine what Morgan's going through. To spend most of your life thinking you were blood related to everyone in your family. I know I spent the first 10 years of my life thinking my grandmother and aunty were my blood relatives and then was told they weren't, but it's different at 10 and it's wasn't that my parents weren't my parents.

I love that she managed to call Cal to her car. Shows how powerful she is.

I remembered she was adopted. Don't know if I guessed it the first time. I've found out family secrets and they really do mess with your head. I love how the story is told through so many voices. You get to read about mother and daughter.

I remember the first time reading the series , i didnt have a clue she was adopted. I remember being so sucked into Morgan's emotions about it, i bawled with her when she cried and i was angry as hell when she was angry. So that particular incident was very vivid in my memory when re-reading and i knew it was coming. Still hit me a little bit. But because of the way it was delivered. Morgan is all ( lets say happy for lack of better word) saying it's okay , it's okay.. we're all witches. And the silence that followed was crushing. But, in BOS i noticed alot of comparisons and hints and that was the part of the foreshadowing i was talking about. It's subtle but since i already knew what was going to happen, it's easier to pick up. Oh oh, for those reading the first time, I would like to know what you pick up and think about Cal.

I hate reading about Bree btw, just thought I would thrown that out there. She is so petty. It makes me grrrr.

And Libby, i have a habit of skipping over the mother's passages in the beginning lol. I did the same the first time reading the series and now I'm forcing myself to read it. It's not that its not interesting, it is. Just anxious to get to the story i guess.

Ugh, still on the Bree hating bandwagon. Her and Raven leaving, what bitches "I need to trust the people I make magic with" she's such a cow! I like that Morgan's digging around trying to find out information about her birth mother, it's interesting seeing things unfold.
