| Wilda- CONGRATs. Hoping for the best for you and the baby. I had a feeling that was your news. so have sixth sense for these things.
Tasha - good on you for sticking to your health living plan. I keep making them but never stick to them.
Probably won't be online much for a while. This semesters course load is so... there's just so much of it.

| Thanks Libby I'm sorry you have so much work this semester. Good luck with it all! Things are a little stressful right now but hopefully everything will settle down within the next couple of weeks. This pregnancy seems to be getting the best of my emotions. Especially anger. The tiniest thing will set me off right now. Especially when I'm driving. I'll be glad when the 2nd trimester gets here and everything calms down some. | |

| Wilda, i thought i responded to this awhile ago. I guess i didn't. Sorry your emotions are on edge. But you know what, you have a good excuse. Let yourself have your moments. Not often enough we have a legit excuse to flip out. Better to get it out anyways. I hope your feeling better and things are settling down for you.
How is everyone? I hope everyone is well! Miss you all!

| Long time no talk. How is everyone?
I've been alright. Health and family wise everything's good. But work is screwing me over. The store I work at was one of the lucky ones - it's still open. 32 Darrell Lea stores were closed across Australia 2 weeks ago...it's super scary thinking we could have been shut down. Downside? One of the managers from another store is now a fulltime employee at my store which means I've had my shifts reduced to once a week on the weekend. The whole point of getting a part-time job was to give me something to do during the week while I was looking for a publishing job...if I'm still going to spend the weekdays being lazy around the house then it's almost not worth working at all, although I guess a tiny bit of money on the weekends is better than nothing.
Hope everyone is doing well.

| KIM!! HIII I've missed you all! The site has been super quiet. I'm glad things are alright. Sad your hours at work got cut. But, i think you should keep the job. It's experience on your resume so it will look good no matter what, future employers would like to know you were at least doing things with your time, even if it's not particularly related to what you are seeking. But, if it's an option, maybe look for an volunteer job, or internship, unpaid, in the publishing industry. Get experience and your foot in the door. Companies usually like to hire/promote from within. I hope you do end up getting your dream job! I'm doing okay. Super excited the hubby has his doctors appointments tomorrow. So i'm looking forward to that. MRI and doctor visit. Hopefully they can start weening him medications and come up with a care plan to get him back to a normal life. Also, he has been approved for food stamps. So that will be a great financial help. I started to seriously look for a job too. But , i admit i can put more effort into the job search. But, I've been dedicating alot of time for my health thing , been on it faithfully, for over a month now. I'm doing good. I'm down 15 pounds. And i started a diet blog about it http://dietriotgirl.wordpress.com/Things are starting to look up. :-) | |

| HI everyone! Sorry your hours have gotten cut Kim. I don't think thats really fair. They could at least give you 3 days a week. Have you tried talking to the new manager about it? Thats so awesome Tasha! WTG on the 15lbs! Let us know how that appointment went. Everything is pretty quiet on my end. I haven't gotten to see a doctor yet bc of some insurance issues but I finally have an appointment for the 30th. I'm not having any noticeable problems so I'm positive everything is fine My moods haven't gotten any better though, in fact they've gotten worse. I'm almost always angry especially at work with all the stupid people i have to deal with. Its aggravating. And I'm barely getting any sleep and when I do sleep, I have some really vivid nightmares that almost always involve my husband. Its driving me crazy. I'm hoping once I'm in my second trimester in a few weeks that all of that will go away. I didn't have it all with my other kids. So its kinda new to me. | |

Hi guys!!! Just wanted to update you all on my appointment this morning. Everything is looking great and I got to hear the baby's heartbeat!!! I teared up lol It felt like a ton of bricks being lifted off of my chest. I had some issues at work last week. I got dehydrated and they ended up calling 911 on me bc I was having some pains in the upper part of my stomach. But everything is fine. My hubby and I couldn't be more excited Hope you all are doing well!

| So after months of wondering if my work would be staying open or not, I got an official call this morning to say it'll be closing by the end of the week. I *might* get one more shift on Saturday, depending on whether we've sold or the stock or not. | |

| Oh Kim, I'm so sorry your store is closing. That really sucks but the way to look at it is when one door closes, another one opens. Maybe this just means something better is waiting for you | |

| Hey girlies. Sowwie I've been quiet. Been binge watching some tv series. I watched Pretty Little liars. Eureka. And now I'm almost done watching Drop dead diva. Been stressed and stuff. I really need a job. And my uncle is visiting ( has been ) for the past two weeks. I can't wait till he goes home Sunday. I do not like him at all and has been so negative.
And ive been having problems with my doggie. Fleas. I guess its normal from what everyone is telling me, end of summer heat and swarm of fleas outside. So everytime i walk her, they jump on her. It got to the point i would carry her a block away put her down and let her do her business and pick her back up and carry her home. And she still would pick up a flea or two. It's getting better with the weather cooling down and it has been raining. I give her flea medicines and I have been giving her oatmeal baths. But she is also shedding her summer coat. So the poor doggie is just itchy all the time. I had to put a tee shirt on her cause would just scratch and scratch and she scratched herself so rough she left scabs. I order different flea meds and i cant not wait for it to get here. So ive been dedicating every hours everyday to comb her fur meticulously and check for fleas. And tend to any irradiated areas. It's time consuming but i feel so bad for her, i just want her to be comfortable. I treated outside our house with yard flea and tick treatment and i treated the whole house with carpet flea and tick prevention just to be safe. don't want a flea to get into the carpets and lay egss. Trying to think of everything to prevent her getting fleas. Even washed her bedding and dog house...oh you should of seen me trying to clean her dog house. lol.
Anywho, since NFL football season started again, its that time of the year when iget back into my hobbies. I fell behind on my diet blog. Reading. everything. So i hope to get caught up.
Kim- i'm so sorry your store is closing. I hope this means you can find something bigger and better. Libby- I hope your uni work is going smoothly Tania- oh last year of highschool? My how time flies. Hope everything is well. Good luck on your job search.
Wildaaaaaa- How are you feeling. How's everything?
Miss you all! | |

| Tasha- Poor Bianca! I hate fleas. We have been lucky and haven't had any problems with fleas. It sounds like you are doing everything you can to help her though. You are a wonderful Mommy to her! I'm still feeling nauseous and emotional. I snap at the tiniest thing. I really hate the person I've become. This pregnancy is SO much more intense than the others. I'm now in my second trimester so I hope it'll start to level out soon. But other than that everything is good Tania-It's so good to hear from you! Enjoy your last year of HS and just have fun! GL with the job hunting!! | |

| My ladies! I miss you all. The site has never been THIS quite for THIS long. I hope everyone is alright I'm hanging in there. Been seriously job hunting. I applied to a BUNCH of jobs. I registered with school's work websites, and hospital web pages to apply to any jobs they have. I also applied to a bunch of ASPCA jobs. I havent gotten a call back from anywhere so I've been feeling down. I'm going to apply to some pet stores like Petco and Pet Land. I didn't before because they pay kind of on the low side. But, at this point any income is needed. I need to pay for Bianca's vet. WE just dont have the money for it. Last year it cost 400 bucks. I got her all the shots they offer, blood work, stool sample and vet examine and a year supply of heart worm prevention. I would like to do the same this year but it seems so unreachable. Also, i still haven't gotten her spayed. I was finally going to give in and take her to the ASPCA mobile clinic. But i chickened out in the morning. I just couldn't do. I don't want to skimp on her care cause I can't afford it. But, i don't want to neglect it either. But, i just couldn't bring her to the mobile clinic. I prefer her to get her surgery done in a clinic where they monitor both during and throughout recovery, staying overnight if she needs too. I'm hoping to get a job and at least that way i can apply for a pet care credit card, get everything done and then pay monthly payments for the vet bill. It would be a total of 1,000 maybe more depending on the spay surgery. The hubby's finances are all messed up again. The damn Army enrolled my hubby under their insurance , as a 3rd party private insurance. So it's blocking EVERYTHING. We're trying to get it fixed. ( Army cause his father is a vet). So we lost food stamps while this is getting worked out. Problem was he was just approved for food stamps last month so we expected to get it again this month and we thought we would be in a better place with money without having to spend money on food... so he spent like 100 bucks.. on a video game and some entertainment things. Well, since we didn't get the food stamps that utterly crushed us this month. Even cutting corners ( he didnt pay his phone bill) we still are flat broke. WE have about a week more ( to the 3rd) before he gets paid. We're hoping nothing messed up his check or we will be screwed. I'm so on edge. | |

| Oh Tasha,I'm so sorry you guys are having trouble with the insurance again. This has gotten far beyond ridiculous. You guy are having to suffer for someone else's mistake and that's no right : / I really hope it all gets straightened out asap! Not much going on with me. I got cussed out by a guest at work today. All bc his daughter was 1/2 an inch too short to go on the ride. It amazes me how many people just don't care about their kid's safety. There's a height requirement for a reason. smh For those who don't follow me on twitter or facebook, I felt the baby move for the first time last week! Everything is great with the baby. We should find out the sex in 3 weeks | |

| Tasha: I'm so sorry you've been having so many issues. It's not fair. I hope everything works out with both Bianca's vet needs and the insurance. *hugs* Wilda: If there was even the *slightest* chance my sisters and I were under a height limit for a ride my parents would avoid it. There's no way you should risk a child's safety like that. Not much happening for me. Still looking for work, although I got a surprise pay-day for Intern-Day last week. I spent the whole day doing manual labour (I was cable-tying plush toys to boards) So they figured that wasn't really learning about publishing and I should be payed for that. I'm not complaining | |

| KIM!!! Hi! lol. Glad you got a paid internship day The hubby and I are in the process of fixing his stuff. We just got a letter from the army insurance that we requested today. So tomorrow I will call them to get the fax number so i can send it over. I was reading the letter though, and he hasn't been under the army insurance since 2007. I just cant fathom why someone would dig that deep and list that as a current insurance. Hopefully once they get the fax, they can correct the mistake and clear his health insurance so we dont have to worry about not being able to go to the doctor or fill prescription. Also, this army insurance is listed as an asset which is why the foods tamps most likely got cut off. So hopefully we can get the food stamps reinstated. OH and i have a job lead! I applied to the wholesale store Costco. My aunt works for a different location but i applied to my local one. A struck of luck, her manager is visiting my local store to train people there. So she asked him to speak to the manager about pulling my resume. So i have my fingers crossed. Not my ideal job, but like i said any job is needed now. Plus this a better end job. They pay is decent. | |

| Tasha, I had to go through the same thing to get maternity insurance. They kept telling me that I have insurance through a private company my husband no longer works for. I had to wait 2 weeks to get the letter stating I no longer have it. Took 2 months to get it all straightened out. Its ridiculous how that crap happens. I hope you guys get everything sorted out soon. And *fingers crossed* you get the job! What a nice surprise, Kim! That is pretty awesome My mom is currently in the hospital. She's been having some severe headaches and she finally went to the ER last night. They did a ct scan and found a spot they believe says she had a stroke within the last 10 days. She hasn't felt weak or any of the symptoms that come after having a stroke. She's got to see a neurologist this morning. I can't quite wrap my head around it. I'm trying not to break down or freak out until she talks to the Dr. I was always worried about leaving my son alone with her while my hubby and I work and now I'm terrified. I'm scared something is going to happen and she won't be able to call for help or anything and the worst will happen and my son will be all alone. Idk what to do. | |

| Well, the MRI shows that my mom has had multiple mini strokes. Yet she hasn't had any symptoms nor side effects. They are keeping her overnight again bc the dr wants to consult with another dr. I already called out today and if I call out tomorrow and most likely thursday as well, I'll end up with a reprimend at work. Which means I could possibly get fired. I'm going first thing in the morning to talk to the manager about what is going on in hopes they can let me off the hook for those two days. My mom should be home by next week when I'm scheduled again. I'm terrified they are going to fire me. But I have no one to watch my son and being that I'm not working full time (only 3 days a week) I can't afford daycare. And being that I am pregnant, they won't let me go full time. It's a very frustrating situation. My mom sounds fine. She hasn't had a headache today which is great news. Thats why she went in the first place. Hopefully they will have answers tomorrow and she'll get to come home.
EDIT: btw my son is losing his voice and I'm getting sick. My right gland, throat, neck, and ear hurts. And I can't take a damn thing to help make me better : / They say when it rains, it pours and boy they weren't lying.

| I'm glad she seems to be doing better Wilda, and I'm so sorry she seems to have had a few mini-strokes recently. They're hard to deal with no matter what the size or effects. I hope everything is alright for her. And I so hope nothing bad happens with your work. Do you know anyone who might be able to babysit your son for a day or two? I've got a few friends who do day babysitting a lot, maybe there's a someone you know nearby?
Oh no. Your poor son. I'll keep my fingers crossed that he gets well soon and that nothing else happens to add to any stress these days. *hugs*

| Oh Wilda. Sorry i took a few days to see this message. I swore i signed onto SB yesterday and saw "no new topics" since my late visit. I hope your mother is doing better. My dad had a stroke...he's mental capabilities haven't changed much. Mostly it was just a personality change. But, the doctors will give your mother ( or are supposed) a psych evaluation before releasing her and also check her reflexes and stimulation responses. So, that can give you some peace of mind if she will be able to look after your son. Everyone is different. If she isn't showing signs and symptoms ...that's a good thing! If your really concerned while she is in the hospital ask for a eeg test... test the brain waves and that can really tell you whats functioning and whats not.
I wish we were neighbors i would help watch your son. I'm due for watching some kiddie movies too ( the hubby hates them lol)
I hope everything works out. I wish i can help but if you need to vent i'm here. HUGS.

EDIT:
I have today and tomorrow off and it should only be 1 point total which shouldn't hurt me. If i need to take next week off as well, all I have to do is let them know. Hopefully I won't have to take next week off. The regular doctor told my Mom that they will try to release her today.
