| Thanks Tasha! Goodluck on your driving test and work Kim!! Happy Anniversary to your parents!! Libby-What Tasha said! As Tasha said, I got my hair done. I spent 6.5 hours getting my hair cut and colored. My natural hair color is a dark brown. Well, I got it a shade darker and highlighted with 2 different shades of blonde and 1 red. It came out a bit wilder and brighter than I had wanted but everyone loves it. Its jsut going to take some getting used to. Sunday, my family and I spent the day at the Zoo and the FL state fair. We had a lot of fun but we were exhausted by the time we got home. My toes are a bit sore today from wearing sneakers for so long (I'm used to flip flops) but it was well worth it. I don't think my kids could have been any happier yesterday. We actually didn't plan on going to the fair, but my kids spotted it from the road on the wya to the zoo and my son started screaming that he wanted to go ride the Stearing Wheel. Yes, he called the ferris wheel the stearing wheel lol (He's only slightly obsessed with cars). So we agreed to go to both cause I wanted to go to the Zoo. Speaking of which, I got to see cheetahs!!!!! I LOVE cheetahs, they are my favorite exotic cat and one of my all time favorite animals. I wish I could have gotten closer, but I couldn't | |

| Job is going well...although today was a little boring, only had customers at 11:30am and then I sat around reading for the rest of the day. Driving test didn't go way. I didn't give way to a bus so I failed. But I'm booked in again for the 6th of March (because you have to wait a week before you can go again and then it was the first available day)
Hope everyone else had a good day.

| Hey everybody! I know it's been a long time since I've gone on here, but I'll be on here more often now. How is everyong? I'm fine, trying to pass my junior year of high school. Other than that, everything is good. Domino's (Shea) is just a good friend now, I have my most loving and caring boyfriend and he's amazing. There's only one problem, but we don't mind, it just puts a strain on what we can and cannot do. Oh well, we can live without a lot of physical action. Lol, Travis is an acquintance now, sort of. And Stevan...he's amazing <3 and definitely the one I'll stay with. He's my current boyfriend, and he's the vocalist of the band Ashes of The Forgotten. Check them up on Facebook (: Stevan is definitely a keeper. He tells me wonderful things every day and always tells me that he loves me up until my phone dies. His profile on here is "damnedlove", we only use it to talk on here. But you guys are welcome to talk to him and get details and such from him, but no harrassment please (: I love him, I don't want you all to scare him XP and yes, that means being on good behavior please. Sorry for such a long post, I'll just go now, thanks for reading guys, I'll get online this weekend to see what you all say. Love you guys, muah, love and kisses! By the way, check out my book, it's officially done, other than some editing I must do. It's called Blood Feud. | |

| Sorry you failed your test Kim. Don't feel bad though, I failed my first driving test. Then I was too nervous to take it. I waited 8 months before I took it again. But the second time I passed it with no problem and I'm sure you will too! Glad the job is going well! I wish I had a job where I could mostly read while working lol
Tania, I replied to your pm.

Kim - sorry the test didn't go the way you wanted. totally know how you feel.
Was thinking of doing mine again this months until I found out rules are being changed. Dunno when i'll get around to it.
So cool that you can read on the job.

| Wilda: My older sister said almost the same thing and she failed twice. I can't afford to wait 8 months before taking the test again. My licence expires in July But hopefully March 6 will be my day *fingers crossed* Libby: Yay for your summer project being almost over. Does the change in rules stop you from trying to do the test, or is it just that you'd have to read up on the rules first? I seem to be doing almost nothing but reading at my job...well that or playing solitaire on the computer. Yep, I maybe have developed a solitaire addiction again. Bugger. | |

| Kim, So sorry you failed your first time in the driving test. I hope your feeling better. Don't worry about it though. I'm convinced you will pass it next time. I almost failed my first time. In NY you get points for everything you do wrong, some things are only one point but most things are like 5 points. Over 30 points and you fail. I went almost the whole driving test without ANY points and then at the very end ( i could see my driving instructor down the block ) things just snowballed and i racked up points. I had exactly 30 points...so i got lucky. But i felt smug cause every single person i know , including family, didn't pass till their 3rd or 4th time. Libby- glad your summer project is almost over! Hope the rest goes smoothly for ya!
Tania- glad things are getting better for you.

| One more report to go. A short one for the faculty on what I got out of doing my summer project. Don't know what to do next? Look for a proper job or get a masters degree? Feeling totally lost even though I've been thinking about it all summer. Job market ain't looking good.
Kim: On the driving test - they're making the P plate equivalent test harder and the Full licence test easier so that works out in my favour since I've had my Ps for years. Read that in a news bulletin but govt websites don't mention it so I don't know what's happening. Will get around to it soon either way I think.

| Tasha: As long as I get it on my next test I'll beat my older sister at least. My twin got her's first go. Yay for you getting your's before the rest of your family.
Libby: I know how you feel Libby...you just sort of feel empty because you've been working toward this end forever and then everything just stops. That's awesome if the test you need to take is easier.
First week of work done. My feet are killing me, but all in all a good week. Glad I don't have to go anywhere tomorrow.

| double posting:
So I had a really fun day today. Went into work, but this time to hang out with friends and then one of them drove me home and we played Lord of the Rings Trivia in my room (I won, although it was EXTREMELY close) Anyway, she left about 15 minutes ago, but as she was backing out of the driveway she hit a neighbour's car. She also didn't stop to see what damage she'd done, she just drove off. But the neighbours were outside and came over to get her details from us. She's a friend I met online and see regularly, but I only have her mobile number. Feeling terrible for the neighbours I passed it along and then went and told me friend about it. Now I feel terrible because she'll still be driving home and then she'll get this message from me telling her I handed her to the sharks. I hate thinking she might get angry at me for passing on the details, but I would probably feel worse if I hadn't passed them on. I probably won't sleep well tonight though, because my friend hasn't texted me back yet. Ugh. I hate this...oh, it looks like my friend just came back into the street and is talking to the neighbours. Now I've got no idea what's happening. This ruins a very good day.
EDIT: Well she texted me to say it was all good and that she went to deal with it. But I'm still shaking and sort of off centre atm. I don't think I'll be getting to sleep any time soon. Clueless is on tonight, so maybe I'll watch it to calm down.

| Libby, Good luck with figuring out what to do school/career wise. My advice would be to sit down and think about your life circumstance ( if money and financial stability can be held off) and also the job market ( you have a job now , how likely would it be to get another job or keep your job AND go to school or if going back to school and then getting a better job etc etc). I personally am trying to figure out what to do with this stuff too. I only have an AA degree and I know i want a bachelors and then eventually a masters. BUT i know even more important i need to work.. things are tough financially and lack of experience isn't in my favor. So i know reality is, even though my preference would be school, school will have to wait. It's sucky, but it's just something you have to figure out what's best for you and your personal life.
Kim- I hope things with your friend are alright. That's a sucky situation. I think you shouldnt feel bad about either your neighbors or your friend though. You were put in a bad position between the two and you had to pick a side. No one has a right to be angry at you in this situation. You're a good person. And aw Clueless! Love that movie.

| Sorry you were put in that situation, Kim. Your friend should ahve stopped instead of driving off but at least she came back and took responsibility for it. Don't feel bad for "handing her to the sharks". You did what was right imho. Libby, I agree with Tasha. Just sit down and figure out what will be best for you atm. I had another fantastic weekend. The hubby and I went out on a date to Ripley's Believe It Or Not and BB Kings. BB Kings is a restraunt/bar where they play live music and the band was actually really good. Until the end that is. The guy was ruining some really good songs. He was so bad that the drummer gave him a horrified look, shook his head, and walked off stage! Yesterday we took the kids to Wonderworks which is an "Upside Down" building with a arcade, ride stimulaters, bunch of different cool exhibits, and this huge rope challenger where you get harnest in and go up 10-20 feet in the air and go across different rope obstacles. I chose not to do that part (I'm scared of heights) but my hubby and kids did. My 3 yr old son loved it while my almost 8 yr old daughter freaked out and started crying in the middle of it but she had no choice but to go on. Next weekend, there is a Kim Harrison book signing for A Perfect Blood (The 10th Hollows book) but its about 4 hours away. My hubby told me yesterday that he didn't want to go but that I can. I don't want to go alone though. Idk if my best friend would be up to it or not. She tends to have trouble finding a baby sitter and she'd need one for all day and night Sunday. I REALLY want to go though. I've never been to a book signing b/c no one ever comes close to Orlando and normally I don't think its worth the drive to Miami. Only a handful of authors are worth that drive and Kim is one of them. Along with Richelle Mead, Cassandra Clare, and Rachel Vincent. (REALLY hoping Richelle comes when she goes on tour for TGL). Blah, idk. Hopefully my friend will be able to go. | |

| Hey everyone! So! No phone, no way of contacting my boyfriend, and probably no laptop. I'm so furious! Darn grades! Ugh! High school is anything BUT easy! I hate this right now! I'm just gonna go cry in a corner and watch as everything gets stained red -.-' you take things from me, I take it out on myself in a horrid way. So not wanting to go home today, I wanna stay in school and never leave! Or at least to my boyfriend's house where I'm accepted and everything is okay and won't be taken away from me...sorry for rampaging girls, but I really need to get this off my chest. My mom just wants me to kill myself doesn't she? She just takes and takes and it hurts me to the extent that I snap! This sucks! She won't even let me SEE my boyfriend! At least let me TALK to him! UGH!!!!!!!! Anyone wanna help the psychotic rampaging girl over here? Please?.... | |

| Wilda- I would go with you! Lol. I never actually been to a book signing. I stumbled on a few small ones before ( just happened to go to a book store and they were having an event), didn't know of the authors.
Tania- I'm not going to say much , just going to say boyfriends aren't the number one priority in the world. If your boyfriend doesnt support your education and goals and encourage you to do your best, then that's not the best supportive relationship. If your in trouble , he should understand and help you stay out of trouble next time.
Everyone- HI, hope you're all doing well!
I just pampered my doggie. Gave her a bath. Towel dried her. Brushed her. She was still damp so blew dried her fur and then brushed her again. She is cuddled up and asleep now.

| Wilda: Has your friend said whether she can go to the signing or not? I'm so glad you, your hubby and your kids had such a fun weekend. Tania: Just take some deep breaths before you panic too much about your situation. You're young, things will work out for you if you just stay calm. Tasha: Aw, I bet she loved that....especially the hair dryer. Did she try and keep her face in the air stream a lot? I'm doing alright. Last week working, so I'm making the most of being paid to do stuff Then I'll be back to looking for a job next week. But at least now I've got experience. Trying to work out some book signing events too. Apparently Lauren Oliver is supposed to be in Sydney next week, but no-one knows any details and then Claudia Gray is coming back to Aust, in a few weeks. Bought midnight screening tickets to Hunger Games the other day. I'm super excited about that. March is going to be an awesome month *finger crossed* | |

| Kim-I'm so jealous that you get all these events. Hope you have a great time at them! I didn't get to go to the signing Hubby talked me out fo going b/c of how much it would cost just to travel there. I just don't understand why everyone has to go to miami. She had two stops right around Miami. Why can't they space them out? it just irritates me. Tasha-Awe! your dog is just too freakin cute. She loves to be pampered while mine hates to be blow dried. And bathed. And brushed : / Tania-I agree with Tasha and Kim. We have a cat. She appeared Sunday starving so i fed her and she came back last night. Hubby brought her in, gave her a bath (she didn't even attack him, she just sat calmly in the water), bought supplies, and named her Cocoa. I have been trying to talk him into letting me get a kitten for a year now and he kept saying NO, and now all of a sudden he gets a soft spot for this little cat. We're going to see how she does for a week and if everything is ok, I'm going to take her to a vet and get her checked out and all. We think she is partly blind and something seems to be wrong with her legs. Its hard to explain but its the way she walks. She's really nice, and calm. She doesn't like to be held, but she does love to be petted. Hopefully she'll get comfortable and make herself at home. | |

| Wilda: I'm only lucky because I'm so close to the city, there's no way I'd be able to attend these things if I live a little further away. It's not possible to travel so far to signing, even if you want to SO MUCH. I'm sorry you didn't get to go to yours. Aw, Cocoa is adorable. I'm not much of a cat person, but I like looking at kittens I hope she's alright and gets comfortable with your family. | |

| Wilda - sorry you didn't get to go to the signing. I agree Cocoa is so adorable.
Kim - Claudia Gray is coming to Akld too. Haven't decided if I want to go to her signing. It'll be at this little out of the way book shop I haven't ever heard of. Why can't she sign in the massive bk shop in the middle of the city? She'd sell heaps of books to random walk ins.
Officially a post grad. Had my first week of classes. Studying part time so it shouldn't be a very stressful year.

| Yeah, that happened last time she came to Australia. She was at my local BigW for an hour, just signing, but there were about 6 people there at the "start" time and I can't imagine she got that many other people turning up. She's signing in the City here this time, so I guess that's better for us.
Yay for a less stressful year!

| Where is the first place I run to when something happens I just need to talk? SB of course! Congrats Libby! I'm glad it'll be a less stressful year for you This is probably going to come off as stupid and petty, but oh well. I need to get it out considering I won't ever say anything to the people involved. So, I just received an invite to a friend's babyshower. Until recently she was one of my best friends but due to the hour distance, and me not being able to drop everything and go to her and help with her new "career" I say it liek that b/c she is a consultant for a...well adult party company. You know the ones who sell sex toys and stuff and have the parties for it? Anyways, I have nothing against it and she's really good at it, but its just not my thing. So we started slowy growing apart. Well as soon as she found out she's haing a girl back in November, I contacted her mom so we could start planning her babyshower. I helped throw the last one, so I assume I would take up the role again. Her mom got all excited but wanted to do it in January and that didnt gie me enough time to get invites out and plan etc. She was supposed ot get back to me in December about when she was definitely coming down (she lives in NY) but she never did and I asked my friend for addresses and she never gave them to me. Well I just got the invite and its being thrown by her mom and the girl that has replaced me. At first I was pissed. Then it hit and now I'm a little hurt. I knew we had grown apart and haven't hung out since August. We had planned to get together in November but then my mom ended up in the hospital and when I messaged her to get together again in january, she never replied. We rarely talk anymore too so really I shouldn't be surprised nor upset, but I am. It just stings, ya know? Ok, enough of my rambling. Hope everyone's having a great weekend! Oh and btw I think I sprained my left wrist : / | |

| Wilda, I'm so sorry your friend and her mother shut you out like that. It's not fair that you were replaced, especially when you went to the effort of originally trying to organise the shower. They could have at least told you in a better way, not just randomly finding out because you got the invitation. Slightly unreleated, but I can totally understand why you weren't 100% into her career. My friend held one of those sex-toy parties at her house a couple of years ago and I didn't feel comfortable attending. She just laughed it off, I don't think she cared if I was there or not (especially if that wasn't what I wanted to do) but not everyone is comfortable openly discussing sex. I hate when friends don't put in as much effort as you do. I know it's not possible to be in contact with everyone you know all the time. Everyone has their busy moments, or times when family comes first (as it should). But when you try over and over again to make contact with a friend you haven't seen for a while and they don't respond it's just rude.
Oh no! How'd you sprain your wrist?

| Thanks for understanding, Kim I have no idea how I sprained my wrist. It had to of happened during the night cause I woke up with it sore and feeling like a sprain. It's gotten even more sore since too. But still no bruising or swelling. I just wrapped it up and I try not to use it, but its almost impossible not to. | |

| Kim- hope you have a last good work week. And yay for events. Hope you get that sorted out.
Libby- yay! Best of luck to your schooling and hope for a less stressful year!
Wilda- Oh i saw the pic on fb of your wrist. Looks painful! Hope it starts feeling better soon. I know it's hard not to use it, but if you try for at-least 48 hours and keep your arm elevated. And icing it alot ( like every half hour or so). It really speeds up the recovery. You can take aspirin like advil or something which will help with pain and swelling but not much in the pain department. Oh and I think your kitty is SO cute.
About your friend. I'm sorry that happened to you. I've lost alot of friends and grew apart from alot of friends so i know it hurts no matter what. But, take comfort in knowing YOU tried to be a good friend and be there for her. You didn't do anything wrong. Just because your friend had a lifestyle change ( with her new job) doesn't mean she has to let that work tear relationships apart. HUGS. We're here for you if you need us.
Sorry I've been MIA. I was sick for awhile. I've been on a bender for the past couple of days lol. Today is the hubby's bday. Yeah, considering he almost didnt make it to this birthday I've been doing everything and anything for him and just making sure to have a great weekend. So far it's been a success :-)
