| Congrats Wilda! That's pretty cool! I don't love the movies much, but I still enjoy seeing them, especially because Twilight took over my life for a couple of years I hope you enjoy it! | |

| I have another great-niece! My niece (not my 14 yr old one but my 23 yr old one) gave birth to a beautiful baby girl this morning They all live in NC so I can't be there which royally SUCKS! I haven't seen them since Feb. 2007 and we don't get to talk much. Hoping that will change soon cause I grew up with them and I miss my NC family like crazy. Hope everyone has a great weekend! | |

| Kids always do that though, even if you don't have any of them..you see how cute a baby is and you want one. momentary lapse of sanity, it passes after a few minutes | |

| Congrats Wilda on winning tickets and for the safe birth of your great niece! After getting Bianca the hubby was all "i want a kid " but after some scares with Bianca he quickly got over it.
So , yeah we had some scares with Bianca. First, my brother her a jar of these soft chewy dog tricks, Milkbone brand. She LOVES them. But when we give them to her, she grabs it and RUNS like a bullet out of the kitchen to the next room and sprawls out laying down and hides and eats it. Yesterday, she went to snatch her treat, but the kitchen tiles were kind of damp from coming inside ( it was snowing/raining) so she slipped and fell over. but she still ran way and ate her treat. So i went upstairs and iwas calling her to follow and she was just standing there. So i went downstairs to see what was wrong with her and she laid down. THen she hobbled over to my dad and laid down. The hubby was trying to check her. SHe let him touch all her paws, she wasnt whimpering. But she wouldnt stand up, and when he went to stand her up she would fall over. We were freaking out thinking she hurt herself bad. But in ten mintues she got up and starting walking, she was limping a bit but a little while later she was running around. BUt she gave us all a good scare.
Then last night, she was sleeping at the foot of the bed. ANd she started twitching really hardcore. we were watching her and at first we thought she was going to do the sleep running thing. But then her head was twitching too and we freaked out thinking she was having a seizure. Then she started crying and then growling but she was still sleeping. So the hubby woke her up. And she was just traumatized looking. The whole night she was scared. She tried to hide under the bed when she heard some rain. Usually she would growl or bark at the rain/weather noises. So i put her on my pillow and she fell alseep. We were so worried all night. Today she woke up really early and was happy and hyper again.

| Tasha- awe poor Bianca She must have had one horrible nightmare. Glad she is ok though. My puppy will whimper in his sleep but nothing like that. You guys are doing such a great job with her though. I'm happy she's found such a loving family to be with My hubby just spent almost $45 on halloween candy The kids in my neighborhood better enjoy all of it cause thats 4 books worth of candy lol jk I love Halloween but seriously $45 worth of candy? Thats a bit much imo. Happy Halloween to all who celebrate it. Hope you have a fun and safe night! | |

| Happy Halloween everyone!! I wish I'd known I was going to be able to do Halloween this year so I could have put together a costume. I know what I want to do but I can't because it's too late!! Ugh. Going to have to wear what I wore last year... | |

| Tasha: I hope Bianca hasn't had any more nightmares. It's scary with pets sometimes. You don't know how they're feeling exactly. I know you're looking after her well though. Wilda: $45 on lollies? That's ridiculous! It's a good thing you plan to give away most of it, if it was me and I had $45 worth of lollies they'd probably last me a year! Ash: Reusing a costume isn't too bad, is it? What did you want to go as? It's Melbourne Cup day today! Every year on the first Tuesday in November there's this MASSIVE race day event (Melbourne Cup)...no-one really cares about the little races, but at 3pm there's the big race and pretty much the entire country stops to listen to the results. I'm not a horse racing fan, I couldn't care less what happens normally, but I love watching the Melbourne Cup. I don't bet, but my family has a fun little sweep that we all draw the horse names out of and the winner will get $2 Usually around this time (8am) there's 1 or 2 horse that have been scratched for the day, but I can't find any info on it today...hopefully that means they're all still in the race, but by 3 o'clock we'll be missing a few. Any bet they'll be the horses mum and I picked out of the hat, we never win, but my dad always does. At least this year I managed to draw the favourite, doesn't mean anything really, but I'm in with a chance! Hope everyone's having a good day! | |

| Well my costume last year was this slayer costume I've used a couple times in the past whenever I didn't have a costume. I think I got rid of most of my other costumes so now I only have the one. And you know how I've been watching Doctor Who lately... yesterday I saw the episode with the gas mask people and I thought it'd be cool to wear a gas mask, but I don't have one and I also don't have time to go find one either. And then today I saw this really neat River Song costume online someone had and then I wanted to be her. Maybe next year. lol Anyway, I hope you guys are doing well. Have fun with the races, Kim. | |

| I have no idea what you guys are talking about lol How did the races go Kim? Did you win this year? Yesterday was exhausting. I love Halloween btu I'm glad it only comes once a year. Hubby and I decided to dress up this year. He went as Michael Meyers. We painted his face instead of buying the mask and I went as a goth/punk zombie. I colored my hair white and put some pink streaks in it and blended some white makeup under my eyes and on my cheeks and had some black all around my eyes for a hollow look and put some pink on my eyes as well. And black lipstick as well. It took me an hour to wash the color out of my hair and scrub that makeup off my face though. I think next year I will opt to wear a wig instead. My kids looked great though and my hubby managed to scare a couple of kids (including our kids lol). Anyways, I hope everyone had a great Halloween | |

| Lol, we were talking about Doctor Who. Ash has been watching the series from the start.
Races were alright. One of my horse got scratched (the only one to be scratched this year) but one of my other horses came second! (by a nose! stupid horse's nose not being long enough) And this year, my dad didn't win a thing! (We never actually bet, just have a family sweep, usually dad wins the whole lot)

| Ohh, I've never seen Doctor Who. What's it about? Congrats on your other horse placing second Kim! So, my son was running a high fever last night. I had to keep getting up every 4 hours to give him some medicine and it finally broke this morning. I found out at the parent/teacher conference this afternoon that my daughter wasn't feeling well during school but the nurse wouldn't call me b/c she wasn't running a fever. As soon as I left i saw I had a voicemail. It was from my mom telling me that my daughter had thrown up on the bus and was running a low fever and complaining of a headache. So now I have a sick little girl I'm used to her being all bubbly and happy but she's all quiet and has slept most of the afternoon. I hate seeing her like this. I feel so helpless. but hopefully it's just a 24 hour thing and she'll be over it come Friday. EDIT: OH! And I had another run in with a snake last night when I took my pup outside. This time it was a freakin baby rattlesnake! I came withint a few inches of its mouth but saw it at the last minute. If it had been in the grass instead of on my driveway I wouldn't have seen it and would have probably gotten bit and landed myself in the hospital O.O but as soon as I saw it, it grabbed my dog (mid pee) and ran inside and got my hubby. he held it down and open it's mouth and voila there were the fangs. My first thought it could ahve killed my dog. His thought "And put you (me) in the hospital". And every since all I can picture is one of my kids getting bit by a damn snake O.O | |

| Gah scary!! Snakes... *shudder* I'm glad you and your dog are alright though. I hope the kids get better soon. lmao Doctor Who is... well it's crazy. It seems to jump into adventures all the time (every episode is about something new) but it does have a story. It's a bit difficult to explain but I guess the easiest thing to say is that there's this mad man (the Doctor) who travels through time and space to save the universe and picks up companions along the way. My brother forced me to watch the new seasons with Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor, but since finishing those I've gone back to the beginning of the modern series (2005 and on; the show started in the 60s but it came back ) and I've just met David Tennant as the 10th Doctor. | |

| Ela: I KNOW! Doctor Who's the best! I'm even really enjoying the 1960s-70s epdisodes too. I'm recording some all of the Tom Baker episodes to DVD for my mum, and they're fun but super hilarious too (mostly because the special effects are so basic and ridiculous...it's awesome) But yes, one of the best sci-fi shows ever. Wilda: Omg, I'm glad you spotted the snake! I wouldn't want you in the hospital. I'm so sorry your daughter's sick, especially after your son just seems to be getting well. I hope your kids feel better soon. Like Ash said, The Doctor's a Time Lord (someone who can go anywhere in the universe AND travel in time!) He thinks he know's what he's doing, but sometimes he gets the dates and places wrong And he does it all from a Blue Police Box! If you ever decide to watch the series, do it from the modere episodes. Christopher Eccleston was the first modern doctor (but he's actually the 9th Doctor), but I think the best mordern Docter is David Tennant. | |

| OMG Wilda, I"m so relived everyone is alright from the snake incident. That's so scary. I hope the kiddies feel better soon. I hate when children are sicky, even for little 24 hours things. I would have been furious with the school nurse. I would have liked to be informed. I may be overbearing. But in my eyes i would of pulled her out of school early and given soup and medicine and rest and stopped it BEFORE a fever hit. Grr. | |

| I've just spent the last 3 hours trying to clear my bookshelves. Dad finally said we'd get the materials for my new shelves...IF I could get the old ones cleared by the weekend. Well, so far I've emptied the bottom shelves of my big bookcases. Unforunately only half of each shelf actually had books on them, the rest was junk, I've thrown out a lot of it too. But I'm so tired already. It's 1:40pm now...at this rate I'll never get the shelves clear by the weekend. If I can get another 2 or 3 shelves done by today I guess I'll be happy with it.
Hope everyone's having a good day.

| Never watched Doctor who. Don't really get it.
Hope everyone had a fun Halloween. We don't really celebrate it much in NZ. Did anyone go trick-or-treating?
Had a dreadful exam today. But I'm feeling whatevs about it. Have one more to go next week before freedom. 2 weeks of chilling out reading before I start my summer job at the end of the month.
Developed an annoying addiction to angry birds. Spent half hour playing it when I'd planned to read sweep.

| I agree Tasha. The teacher even said she should have put her foot down and made them call me. She's a bubbly girl and is constantly involved with everything in class and the teacher knew she didnt feel good when she got quiet and all. But she woke up feeling much better this morning so she'll be going back to school tomorrow. I'm relieved it was just a 12-24 hour thing.
My gosh you must have a ton of books Kim! Hope you get them all cleared so you can get your new shelves.
Goodluck on your exams Libby!
Idk if I'll be watching Doctor Who, but it sounds like a good show. I just have too many shows to keep up with and I'm so far behind on them now as it is : /
