I don't think anyone will live up to your standards of Lissa Cross but thats ok we all have high expectations mine are pretty high for Rose and Dimitri.

Okay I have seen an episode of the secret life show but it was unbearable the acting is so unbelievably cheesy i cant watch something where people can't act. Those two characters that someone suggested would slaughter rose and lissa's characters and ruin the movie and we'd end up with another crappy twilight cast.

That's why we also need someone who has enough life to play Lissa, and which person for Rose that someone mentioned did you mention, Jill?

I don't want Rose's or Lissa's personalities or everything else great about them, slaughtered, because of weak acting.
They deserve better than that, and remember that image of a candidate for Lissa you showed us, that i termed Angel, Jill?
That candidate must be considered for Lissa, along with Carly Schrober, Rachel Hurd-Wood, and even Taylor Swift!

You know who I've always pictured as Natalie? Danielle Panabaker. I'm sure I've said this before, but if any of you guys have seen the movie Mr. Brooks, you might get an idea of why I like her so much for Natalie.

In any case, Carly Schroeder has enough life to play Lissa, brilliantly, though i won't complain about Rachel Hurd-Wood either, personally.

Lissa seems to look sad, sometimes, to the point she's almost lifeless, but even she has some amount of life in her, as far as the novels are concerned, so we have to keep track of how much life the candidates for Lissa would bring to the table.

As for Kat Dennings, Ashley, your verdict?

The only thing about Carly is that she doesn't have that model type of body that Lissa does. But if she did, she'd be so perfect. I mean, Carly even looks kind of like the girl on the old cover of SK, and RM once said that the SK Lissa was the closest to any of the characters looks they'd gotten for the covers, along with the guy on FB for Christian.

Rachel Hurd-Wood could be a good candidate. I dunno about Taylor Swift though... Taylor seems a bit too masculine. But her acting seems to be alright anyway.

So in any case, Carly and Rachel apparently lack Lissa's Jade Green Eyes, as well, but somehow, that's alright[i could have sworn those eyes were meant to be the same shade as the one Harry James Potter inherited from his mum, or the Sea-Green Eyes that Percy inherited from Poseidon, that's an apparent trademark with most of Poseidon's Demigod children, for that matter, anyway!]

Either way, somehow i'm glad i listed out the 3 candidates on that thread, when i did, and i wouldn't even mind that image of the lady whom i termed Angel when i saw that photo, when she looked like she had Lissa's element, Spirit Magic, either, if the Lady is still old enough to play Lissa, and isn't too old.

I'm looking for pretty candidates who have enough life to play Lissa, because it doesn't feel right if they get a lifeless candidate for Lissa, but if they get a lively candidate for Lissa, then they just have to make sure she shows the amount of life Lissa has in the novels, and then some, because sometimes even the best-casted could be reduced to set-dressing, if they're lucky, or be utterly mismanaged, whichever came first.

i think it makes better sense that way if you like to indulge yourself. It would explain why Lissa is the way she is because of who she was.
