Quote :
ARE YOU GOING TO JUST FILM THE WHOLE SERIES OR JUST THE FIRST BOOK AND SEE HOW THAT GOES?
"we will first be filming and releasing the first Movie. Whether that's just the first book, or a little more of the story perhaps, will be a creative decision as we go. If the first Movie finds an audience, we will most likely begin production of the next Movie right away. As we all know, there is a lot of material here, and a lot more still to come. There will be six novels in the first series. If it takes, on average, 18 months to two years to deliver a movie to market...times 6 books, well you do the math. So you see, there are many decisions to make along the way! Oh yea, then there's the next VA series, 6 more novels!"

So it's sounds like they might adapt the spin-off series as well if the movies are really successful, which I have no doubt that they will be given the huge following VA already has. So what does everyone think about the idea of 12 VA films? I love the books, but I think that's going way over board. I wonder how they would approach the films for the spin-off series. Would they change the story so the main characters from the original series are still the lead characters in the spin-off films? 12 movies from the same series would also be far too many as I wouldn't imagine people would start to get tired of the series after like the first 7 or 8. Maybe they would adapt more than one spin-off book into each film and just turn it into two. Either way, some of the comments they've made about the films has me a little worried. They also mentioned wanting to get the second film out as soon as possible if the first movie is a success. I hate long waits for movie sequels but I also don't want VA to get the Twilight treatment.

12 movies is unlikely I think.
I just hope they stick to the story well or some people are going to get a lot of hate mail.
They could reformat the spin off into a tv series to keep the hype doing.

Yeah they probably wouldn't adapt all six books of the spin-off series. I imagine if the first 6 movies do extremely well they might decide to adapt two books from the spin-off as well though. I was thinking that adaptations of the spin-off may not do as well if they don't make Dimitri, Rose, and Adrian the main characters. since they are the most people characters from the books. A TV series could be possible too. I wouldn't mind seeing the spin-off series as a tv show. That could work.

I think they've got their hands full with just the one VA movie. We don't know how well the movie might be received by others (people who've never heard of VA) and also the fans of the series. The movie could turn out to be complete crap. If so, would you want to see them make ANOTHER one even though the first one sucked monkey balls? I sure as hell wouldn't.

They shouldn't jump the gun and make plans to do the spin-off movie series since they haven't made much head way on the first MOVIE yet (no studio, no director, no cast, etc). Also, nobody but RM knows what the spin-off will be about or which characters (excluding Sydney) will be in it. Can't make plans on something you have zero information about.

They can't honestly be considering doing all twelve movies. It took the HP series over a decade to do just eight movies. It's very unlikely that Preger could pull this off.

I agree that they need to focus on getting the first movie right at the moment. I found the comment they made about the spin-off series interesting, though, because it suggests that they would like to do something with the spin-off series if the films are a success. I've been a little wary of how they plan to do the films and approach the marketing given some of the comments they've made. I don't like the comparisons they've made to Twilight and I'm not sure how I feel about any possible adaptations of the spin-off books if the first films are a big success. I don't want VA to become overexposed like Twilight.

When famous Italian violin maker Fast And Furious 1-5 Movies dvds witnesses the tragic death of his pregnant wife and true love, he designs the perfect violin as a testament to her memory. Originally intended for his son, 007 James Bond 22 Movie dvd box set makes it way across the continent of Europe, first appearing in an orphanage where child prodigy That 70s Show 1-8 dvd box set comes in possession of it. Ushered off to Vienna and poised on the precipice of South park 1-15 dvds, The Lying Game 1 dvds suffers a heart attack, and the violin is buried with him. However, when his grave is looted, Sonny with a Chance 1-2 dvds give a home to the violin for some time before it is purchased by the mad genius Frederick Pope Jason Flemyng. When One Tree Hill 1-8 dvd box set injures the heart of his longtime lover Victoria Greta Scacchi, Suits 1 dvd box set is damaged by a bullet. A servant of Pope's eventually takes the violin to the Asian Continent where Teen Wolf 1 dvd box set is used first as a teacher's aide, then hidden during the Communist revolution which fears the evils of Western music. When Workaholics 1 dvd box set collector in possession of the red violin passes away, the Footballers' Wives 1-5 dvd box set places his multi-million dollar collection on the auction block. Finding the red violin in its midst, two experts work to verify its authenticity, and when Las Vegas 1-5 dvd box set do a fierce bidding war takes place to see who will get the prized possession. But an article of such Bones 1-6 dvds can only be held by someone who truly appreciates its beauty. With outstanding performances from an unprecedented number of actors and actresses, The Tractor Tom dvd box set is a production of genius on par with the perfection of its lead character the hand-crafted red violin. The Closer 1-7 dvds is the only star of the film who's of Hollywood blockbuster caliber, and Brothers and Sisters 1-5 dvds shines brightly in his role using his penetrating eyes to convey a sort of mystic power upon the object of his desire. Coupled with an original storyline, having all the more of an impact due its suspenseful chronology, The The Glee Project 1 dvds is an unforgettable film of passion and adventure.

There's no movie trailer. The producers are still in the midst of looking for a studio. They can't do any casting or set a release date for the movie until we get a studio.

Here is a link to the movie's official facebook page:
