I agree. It's so much better when the fan base is smaller. Twilight, for example, has a bunch of fans who drool over the movies and haven't even touched the books. It's just ridiculous.
As for the actor who should play Dimitri, everyone sees him differently, whoever gets the role, not everyone is going to be satisfied. It's just impossible. So we all have a right to have our own visions of actors who suit the role. Ben Barnes is very close to how I see Dimitri in looks and I think he's a great actor. I would like it if he got the role and I know there's a lot of people who won't agree with me, but that's just the way it is.

Ben Barnes as Dimitri definitely. He just fits the part. I think that Amanda Seyfried could also be Lissa in a way, innocent and she has that kind of look on her face when acting. I've seen on a lot of youtube videos that people would like Megan Fox as Rose but I don't agree. I don't think she looks the part of Rose enough to be her in a film.

I've been on YouTube and most of the VA fans think that either Ben Barnes should be Dimitri or Taylor Kitsch as Dimitri. I also saw some good potential Roses, Lissas, Adrians, Masons, Eddies and so on. I saw one Abe and he looked perfect but his body wasn't like big enough to be him. I don't know, we'll just have to wait and see who they choose to be who and see if they made the right decisions.

any one know buffy the vampire slayer seasons. the " slayer " named anna . she could be a great rose extremly great. she has the additude and the i dont care stuff . she already has some fighting on her. maybe ????????

I used to watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer but I don't remember Anna. It was a long time ago. I remember Faith, though. She had the attitude, haha.

I'm a huge Buffy fan (I own all 7 seasons on DVD) and I don't remember any character named Anna. Are you talking about one of the potentials? I think the only "slayer" that was closest to resembling Rose's description is Kennedy (Willow's girlfriend in season 7) and she's not at all how I see Rose.

Ok, I may not get his name exactly correct but...the model that lived with Halle Berry and they had a daughter, I think his name is Gabriel Aubry. I don't know if he acts or just models, but that is who I imagine when I read the books. He is my Dimitri. What do you all think?

MRZ Monica Ivashkov was the one I thought was being rude with the way she was like HELLO people catch up on the news etc...and update yourselves! yeah that bothered me. she should have checked out how long this post has been going on before popping off. And then saying that fanpop is the best va movie news. Clearly she doesn't keep up with Richelle.

And I agree 100% that Gabriel Aubry is NO Dimitri.

I didn't find Monica's comment rude, just unobservant.

It was the way she phrased it. She could have said that without acting like everyone on here is dumb and not up-to-date. Thats what I found rude.

I can see why you thought it was rude, I was just more amused by her post since she didn't bother to check the date of this topic before "educating" us on this movie news we already knew about.

The last thing I want to do is be rude. I figured this person thought she knew better, but I find myself pretty well informed with VA/RM news. I'm not bragging about being a know-it-all or anything of the sort, but I do check up frequently on the blog/Twitter/Facebook/official websites and forums. And as soon as I hear anything new, I immediately come here to share it with all of you. I didn't like that this person was telling other people to refer to that random website for information because that's definitely not the best place to get it. I also didn't like her attitude.

Agreed on the not-Dimitri thing. lol But he's not bad looking. Ohh... I'm kinda getting a BDB Brother vibe from him, if he were bulkier. With that face... he could be Rhage (though I'm still convinced Jessie Pavelka *is* Rhage). *shrug*

yea i think her name is faith. (sorry about not lookin on sorta got distracted) i dont now shes sorta close for my rose ( as i say sorta)

I think she's too old to play Rose now, but from what we've seen on Buffy the vampire slayer, she would be able to pull off Rose's character for sure.
