Abe doesn't look it because his Turkish nationality most of the Moroi are of European decent so they are already pale the fact they are Moroi just make them a bit paler

Funny...when i role-play, i happen to have a psychic sorcerer who happens to be Greek, a Modern-Day Spartan, as a matter of fact, yet surprisingly enough, i don't think he'd have anything personal against Abe if he ever ends up running into him, even though when you consider that Greeks and Turkish people meet, they're usually 'personal nemesis' groups, right?

At any rate, Abe's middle-eastern, and since we need Middle-Eastern people as badly as we need to read about the ancient Greco-Roman tales, once more, or even hear about the Olympian world, itself, i'd like nothing more than for them to find a Middle-Eastern Rooted man to play Abe, as soon as possible.

Hmmm I actually love Kat Dennings. I've never thought of her as Rose. I think personality wise she would be a kick ass Rose. But her "look"- she's just too pale to be a dhamphir especially Rose. Maybe if she got a wicked tan....

I don't think it matters if the actress who plays Rose is/looks middle-eastern. Yeah her father is Turkish but her mother is Scottish so I doubt she looks completely turkish. Sure she inherited her father's dark hair, eyes and is tanned as as long as the actress who plays her can pull her personaility off and has those specific traits then i don't think her being middle eastern is that important. But thats jmo

I've enver thought about Kat being Rose and now that I am thinking about it I think she could totally pull it off. But I can't picture her with a tan lol Idk why I just can't...

Idk about the girl from Secret life playing Lissa. She's crossed my mind but she just doesn't really scream Lissa to me and Alexis Bledel is just too old to play Natalie even though she looks young enough at least in those pics she does. Alexis always plays the sweet characters so idk if she would make a good Natalie after she turns Strigoi. And I've always been against Ben playing Dimitri idk why I just am lol but I like the idea of Kat as Rose

Lol, i agree Wilda. I dont even seen how others think Ben can be Dimitri- but so many people do. On RM"s facebook discussion like 89% say Ben should play Dimitri. I just dont see it. I thought I was missing something.

But i don't want the Middle-Easterns among the fanbase to get alienated, Wilda, seriously!

That said, i hope they could bring her an epic tanning, at any rate, because if she ends up as Rose, she needs a real tan!

And I don't think Rose is suppose to be full on tanned, but just darker than the moroi, and that seems as though it would be pretty easy since they're pale.

Yeah when I first thought of Ben Barnes as Dimitri I was a bit skeptical. I kind of thought he was a bit of a show off and his face always seemed childish to me. But then I kept looking at photos of him and watching some more of his work. Then I thought, "hm he might be able to pull it off"... lol

As long as the person they choose looks natural as a dark haired dark eyed tanned girl who can pull off Rose's personality it really shouldn't matter where they come from. Thats not the most important part. idc if they get someone turkish or not as long as the person looks and acts the part.-Thats the most important thing to me.

well considering Natalie has dark hair I definitely can't see Megan as her. I know Natalie is supposed to be a nice girl until she becomes strigoi but I just can't see Alexis playing the strigoi Natalie and throwing people around and all. Is it even in her nature to play a part like that? lol And yeah Ben kind looks the part of Dimitri in certain pictures but I still don't like him for Dimitri jmo

You are correct it says Rose gets her color hair and eye color from her dad but her features are more like her moms and why do we need pictures of her in a bikini? O_o
