I'm totally stoked about Hourglass. The whole series is amazing! And I agree with the Balthazar love. The boy is absolutely adorable. Lucas gets on my nerves sometimes, but Balthazar is just so sweet and gentlemanly. How can you not love him? And during that scene in the Modern Tech classroom? *fans face* I wish the stupid wraith hadn't shown up, because I desperately wanted the conclusion of that scene!!! *pout* .
That has to be one of my fave scenes from Stargazer. I wish it hadn't been interrupted

Bought 'Hourglass' this morning (it's been released in Australia already) So I'm going to start reading it just as soon as I finish my current book looking forward to it.

Just started stargazer. What happened at the end of Evernight? Read it like almost a year ago and I can't remember.

Lucas and Bianca ran away, Black Cross were protacting them, then Mrs Bethany and the other vamps turned up to "rescue" Bianca and she went back to Evernight.

Figured that much from what I've read of stargazer so far. How did Bianca and Lucas get together? Was there a prom in the first one?

There was the Autumn dance...I think. There was a dance of some sorts, and Bathazar was Bianca's date until Lucas turned up all jealous, and then Bianca bit him.

Going to read Hourgass soon so I can remember whats going on. Stargazer was pretty good. Better than I thought it would be.

That's a good plan. At least you didn't have to wait for Hourglass to be released.

Just finished hourglass. I didn't like it as much as stargazer. I'll still read afterlife the day it comes out though. I read online that there was a major cliffhanger but I didn't think it wasn't much of one. Any other opinion?

Yeah, I definitely liked Stargazer better too. I found Hourglass a bit strange really. I never thought she'd actually die, and then everything seemed to work out for her so fast. I'll definitely be reading Afterlife the moment it comes out.
On a cool note though, Claudia Gray is coming to a store near me when she's in Australia in August...so I'm going to go meet her after uni that day

I met Claudia Gray an hour ago! So was so nice and she personalised every book she signed, let us take pictures with her and gave us freebies! I got the first chapter of Afterlife in this little booket with the Afterlife cover on it and a pen that says "The Afterlife is Coming 22/2/11" Very cool!

I actually haven't managed to read the first chapter yet. I had to finish an essay and a whole heap of other uni stuff. But I'll tell you all about it (with as little spoilers as possible) once I've read it

It was alright...a little uneventful really. I was expecting a lot more to happen in it, especially with how Hourglass ended (Bianca and Lucas etc.) But it starts up minutes after Hourglass ends and it's all fairly calm so far

Stargazer was so good, Hourglass was a bit of a let down. Have high expectations for Afterlife.

I've read the three books. It's not very good this series. I'm still waiting for the next one to come out.

Could some recap Hourglass for me. Started reading Afterlife and realised I can't recall much of what happened in HG other than L is now a vampire and B is a ghost but weirdly has a body.

Hourglass spoilers:
Spoiler:
L and B were training with Black Cross. B kept eating birds, so BC got worried there was a vampire around. B eventually emailed her parents, Mrs Bethany tracked the email to the BC cell and attacked them. Bathazar was part of the attacking group. Bathazar was captured. L and B helped him escape, BUT Raquel and Dana found out and somewhere along the line R found out B was a part-vamp. Then R told Black Cross what B was. Bathazar helped L and B run off, and they went to Vic's place, because Vic and Ranulf were going away with Vic's parents, so his house was empty. Charity pops up again, she wants to find Bathazar so decides to go after B, because that'll be the best way to hurt Bathazar. um...what else...B and L get jobs of their own, and then B started getting weak etc. B became a wraith, L freaks out and calls Bathazar, Vic and Ranulf. The B finds out she can become solid again if she holds onto something she had a connection with in her human life BUT it had to be something dead: the broach and her coral bracelet. Then she races off to save Lucas, who has gone after Charity because of something (can't remember why) but Bathazar is with him too. And then L becomes a vamp. The end.

Afterlife is so crappy. The first 100 pages were boring. Upto 210 now and its still blah. Is there any point finishing it?

If you want to feel like you've finished the series, then I guess that's a point. But Afterlife had a disappointing end.

It's not like it's a difficult story to read, but it just wasn't a fun ending.
