| Finally finished it. It took ages with me reading some other books in between.
I didn't get sucked into the story like with stargazer and to an extent bk 1 and 3.
Afterlife seemed like a unnessary extention to a trilogy. Hourglass could've just been extended to a happy ending. It seemed like Claudia left the ending open so she can write #5 if she wants to. | |

It just sucked, because it's not like there's a happy ending here. At least while Lucas was a vamp they were going to live together forever...now they get maybe 70 years max and Bianca gets to live forever. It's not happily ever after, it's happily-right-now-for-a-little-while.
