Hi all.
I'm doing just fine, busy but fine. I got myself a new laptop which kicks my other laptops a$$. School is the same, stressful but I'm not letting it get to me too much.
My mom is doing great. So far the doctors say there really is nothing to worry about. We're just going to keep an eye on the bumps she found and she sees her surgen again in Jan. So she might get them removed.
Besides that everything is great. I miss you all and I promise I'll check in again. Take care. *hugs*

Amy, thats great news. I'm glad that everything is good with your mom so far and hopefully nothing serious will come out of it. I'm happy you're not letting the stress get to you so bad. yeah, In the summer time the site is more upbeat. But i think school vacation for winter break is coming up- i think we should see some more posts then. I've been super busy with my dad. Haven't been home cause he's been in the hospital. But he came home last night. But today i have a tons of errands to run ( filling his prescriptions, food shopping, laundry). So that's why i'm not that active. I log on everyday and peek around - post a comment here and there. But i usually spend 20 mins on the computer in the morning while drinking my tea and like 10 mins again at night and that's it. Even if i end up being home I'm cleaning and stuff and I don't use the computer because I just get lost in time when online. Five minutes turns into 2 hours. Lol. But don't worry, everyone will be back soon.

This site will be busy come December once Last Sacrifice is out. Like Tasha said, most of everyone is busy with school and homework and stuff. I get on at least once everyday sometimes more if the site is more active.

I don't post much on this topic cause there's not much of a conversation going on. But then again there's not much going on on this forum right now. It'll start picking up toward the end of November I'm sure. The first chapter is supposed to be released the 4th week of November so I'm sure Shadow bite will be more active. As for everyone who posts on this topic, I'm pretty sure the majority are busy with school right now.

I actually miss school. Which is funny. I get highly annoyed when people ask me to help them with school work- i wont do it anymore. More so cause my friends and family don't like school and homework and assignments and leave it to the last minute. But, i tell everyone come to me as soon as you get the assignment and I'll work it through with you. But, i'm not going to help them last minute- i wont be their get out of jail free card. I worked my butt off for my grades and i see people ( even people i love dearly) do the bare minimum and get good grades they don't deserve. Today my cousin was complaining about her take her midterm. Ummm it's take home. I had ONE take home midterm through out college. ONE. I would have killed for a take home when i was student. Just do the work . So i was messing with her cause it's 4 mini essays. I was like "oooo essays, that's fun!"... I'm a writer. Of course its fun to me. But it is sociology , which is the easiest of subjects to write an essay about it. Quote someone, interpret the quote, and insert your opinion. In my sociology class we had an essay a week, plus all the quizzes and tests were essays(in class), and we had 3 major essay projects. I got an A in the class. It's alot of work. But, it's college. Sometimes you have to give up sleep, hanging out, friends , having a life in general for school work. But, it's what you signed up for. I don't see the need to complain and blame the professors. Anywho, I'm ranting now. I'm sleepy. Lol.

last night at my schools Halloween dance and i was looking for my sisters friend cause she( my sis) had a dress malfunction and when i was running over to my sis to tell her i couldn't find i friend i got bumped into by a guy and he "accidently" stepped one my toe (the reason i put accidently in quotes is becasue i think he knew i was there (that fucking bastard) ) and then he turned around and sneered at me. SNEERED!!!!! and so i just walked away but i looked down at my toe when i had gotten into some light and the toe nail was cracked and i was bleeding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so i now have three bandaids on my toe and i had had to call my dad so that he could pick me up at the dance early


So that is my Halloween dance story i can't wait for Samhain this Sunday

Rant all you want Tasha. And I don't blame you at all for not helping anyone with their homework last minute. My best friend waits until the last minute to get all her work done and it drives me crazy. She'll wait until Friday to start her essays which are due by 11pm on Saturdays and she'll have like 5 essays to write. She does online classes and the classes only last a month so they have to cram it all into 4 weeks. But it's insane cause she'll have to spend all night friday and all day saturday doing school work and complain to me about it. And I tell her every time that if she wouldn't wait until friday to start her essays, she wouldn't be in that situation. But does she listen to me the following week? No of course not...ok I got carried away there...

Anyways, what's everyone up to? I've been mostly spending my time, cleaning, reading and tending to my kids.

I should start studying Latin now... I have an oral examination tomorrow. And an English test, but I hope it won't be too difficult.
I'm going on a two-day trip this weekend and I'm really looking forward to it. My whole class is going and I'll also meet up with a couple of friends I met online.
