Its just so tough. I thought things were getting better. Today he was awake and understanding and remembering and getting out of bed. They are doing a biopsy tomorrow on his head to determine what the mass is and how to treat it. BUt they made it sound like nothing. I just got home and my hubby calls me and told me the doctor spoke to him and its a big deal. They are removing a piece of skull to look at the mass. The docs suspect its a tumor and suspect it is severe because he had seizures. And the tumor is by the part of the brain that affects him understanding and speech. The doc said he doesn't know for sure and can't say anything for sure but they suspect is severe. The doc said recovery can be anywhere from a few weeks to life. He could have limited affects liek talking funny for few weeks or completely losing his learning abilities and understanding. We're trying to stay positive and think positive. We're trying to retain the mind set the docs are just preparing for the worst case scenario type of thing.

Tasha: Geez, I'm sorry. I hope everything gets better for you. Take care of yourself. Don't let this drag your heart down. I know you're strong, and I know your dad is trying his hardest and fighting through. Tust me, just give it time. Things will get better. Just like for me. Even though my parents know about my deffects, they're trying. Just like I am. I love you, Tasha, like my own flesh and blood family. Don't do anything severe or reckless. That's my thing lol.
