Chapter 3 of TBE is being a pain. *facepalm*

Also, I've been distracted by *badfic* lately (which actually seems to be coming along ), and starting tomorrow I'm taking on a volunteering job at my sister's school so I'll probably be busy. No promises on TBE updates, but I'll let you know when there are any.

And just so you don't feel like I'm giving you nothing (which I sort of am since ch3 hasn't been written yet) I'm going to post the songs that go with the next two upcoming chapters, just to get you thinking about what might happen. lol I went through a soundtrack crisis a few weeks ago, but I think I've got it now. When I originally plotted the fic, I intended it to be a lot darker. I think it's still kinda dark, but the songs I'd had back then don't go with what I've got going on now. Plus I have a new character.

So I've been working on a few things lately (none of which has been TBE, sorry).

I finally get some time to write and I'm sick. Interestingly enough, it's done some rather wonderful things for my writing. I dunno if it's the meds... but today's been rather good for writing. Just not for writing TBE. Again, I'm sorry for not updating. After these plot bunnies get taken care of, hopefully I'll be able to get back into Eden's story.

In any case, as soon as Eden gets descriptions, i intend to let Lumine know that we may consider doing tek teks based on the descriptions of the original cast for the spin-off, if it helps.
You get to approve on which ones you'd like best, as a matter of fact.

So how do we deal with the descriptions of Maks and Eden, in the meantime?

You should already have an idea of what Maks looks like (his description is in ch2). He'd probably dress preppyish (polo shirt, khakis, etc). Eden has light brown hair and brown eyes. She's kinda pale, but not as pale as Moroi. She's very small and thin with virtually no muscle. lol She's most comfortable in jeans and a hoodie and sneakers. She's not overwhelmingly girly or anything and wouldn't dress it normally unless she's on a date.

Then permission to request Luna Lumine so we can ready the tek teks once the descriptions are completed? :mrgreen:

On Eden: Sounds reasonable, really.
Not only does she feel like a reasonable reminder of the fact that fighting, in R.L, is just hard, but she also reminds me of someone familiar by descriptions, too.
Also, on the regard that fighting is hard, why its so easy for Rose to do, may have been connected with the fact that arabs spent a lot of their lives fighting since the ancient times, although being connected with the scots is not too shabby, either.
Eden, however, seems less genetically blessed than Rose is, for the most part, even when the Normans invaded Britain and taking the 100-year wars between Britain and France into account.

And who does Eden remind you of? Please god, don't say Bella Swan. I'd have to off myself right now.

Sure, i'll have the tek tek versions for the two Lumine and i created sent to you, first, to see which one is better-suited, then.

I can assure you i was not thinking that Bella, or any of the other Bellas i studied, actually.
I was thinking along the lines of one of the Lacedaemonian-blooded Alvizu sisters'(Whom Mina and Miranda are 2/3rds of!) friends, probably the other Ashley, but not spelled the same way.

Glad you don't think Eden's a Bella. I tried to make her the least bit Mary Sue-ish as possible.

Btw, I'm stuck on TBE for now. I'm slowly getting back into Eden's story though. It's been hard, and then I've got other fics I'd planned to do (now including a Jill fic). I'll definitely let you guys know when I have something.

That's relieving, because as much as i find miss Zaranad likable, i'd rather save you the trouble of a dumb or sketchy moment listed.

The only thing i see Eden having common roots would be the hair/eye colors, but beyond that, you're better off compairing Eden to Atalanta or Camilla the Huntresses of Hellenic(Greco-Roman) lore, really.

I am glad that we get to see T.B.E reactivated, Ashley, now i wonder if we get to see Eden's finished descriptions, while also seeing training from hell take place.
Neither huntress was a mary-sue, and the only true mary-sue in such lore was Ganymede, the water-bearer(even so, he inspired the Aquarian birthsign!) and that was because he was as T.S.T.L as Bella was, though i hope his personality's more bearable.

I wonder about the descriptions of Maks' half-sister, again?
I can't seem to recall it.

I wonder who else will arrive in the spin-off, who is not from the main story?

As for Eden's father, i want to see if either Lumine or myself could try to do a possible tek tek based on his descriptions, because from what i'd imagine, he should feel like the kind of guy who could drag just about anyone to about 50+ different types of $hit(or would Hell be a better term to describe what he could drag anyone towards?)

So is it ready, the next chapter?
