The Secret and the Culprit (a fanfic)

I felt thos strong comforting arms wrap around me. I put my head on his chest, I just wanted to melt into him. i looked up and studied his face, an action I"ve done so many times yet it never seems to get old. he looked down at me a smile tugging at his lips. the next thing I know our lips lock together and a fire so familiar starts to biuld in me getting bigger. he pulls me tightly against him as my arms wrap around his neck. This is how's it's suposed to be. Everything is so much clearer when I"m with him. i thought. As clothes began to make they're way off of the both of us.

Then, it was all gone i standing in an open field of grass, wearing a dress...hold on a minute. A dress? I go from hot and passionate to a field of grass. i groaned. and waited for him to show, Adrian. Everything has just been a dream. i sighed. "Little Damphir." i turned around and there leaning against the only tree out here was Adrian.

"Did you want something?" i said crossing my arms.

"I'm worried about you. I know you didn't do it, you didn't kill her. I just....wanted to know if you were ok." he said, not taking his eyes of me. i saw pain and worry in his eyes.

"Of course I'm not alright! i was just framed for murder! They have excelent evidence, I cant see how I'm going to get outta this one!" i said getting louder and louder.

"I dont think your father will let it come to sentancing. He'll do something if you cant get out. Then you can work to clear your name." he sighed. "But that's only if worst comes to worst. i think you'll be fine, everything will work out in the end." he said coming over to me, holding me. i felt a little guilty just then. i had just been having a dream of Demitri and we almost..."Something else bothering you?" he asked. i shook my head, then remembered the note i just got that's suposedly from the now dead Queen and Adrians favorite Aunt.

"Actually, i need you to do something. Now i dont know this person's name, where they live, or even if they're a boy or girl. but it may be our last hope of getting Lissa on the council before they screw everything up. i recieved a note from someone the Queen trusted on my way out of the court room it appears she wrote it incase something happened to her so that i could fix things." i let out a little sigh. "Lissa isn't the last, she has an ilagitament sibling out there, somewhere. If that person can be found then Lissa can take her spot on the council."

Adrian chuckled a little. "Well with so little information how am i suposed to track down anyone?"

In a flash i remembered. "The bank account." i said backing away from him so i could see his face. "The secret bank account that Lissa's father had. it was for a Jane Doe. Maybe he was putting money in that account to help suport his child, and since it's Jane Doe. then the child would probably be, well a girl."

"Well, your quite the detective aren't you." he chuckled. "Ok, I'll look." he said steping closer. "What do i get outta this?" he asked, a small smile playing on his lips.

I smiled, "Who knows. i guess it depends on if your good or not."

"I'm sorry, Little Damphir, but i should be going." he said, sounding like he didn't want to. i nodded, he smiled. then i returned to my own dreams. and no not that one, the one with Demitri was gone.

I like this write more! I like at the end when adrian finished talking to her she couldn't go back to the dream with dimitri dang...

ok, I'll post the next one with in the next 2 days. i was just waiting for some sort of reply. wanted to know if anyone wanted more.

Chapter 2

i wake-up startled to see i was sleeping on a concreet floor. "What the....?" then it all came back. i had been charged with Tatiana's murder and have a trail coming up, soon i hoped. so i could get outta here. i looked around and saw no one, no one in the hall or anywhere within sight. that's wierd i would of thought I'd have a few guards. i could have sworn i did lastnight before i fell asleep, so where were they now? not that i dont mind the privacy, but right now i just wanted to yell at someone about how unfair this all was.

an hour or so later i heard the door open at the end of the hall. i didn't get up to see who it was, i truthfully kinda didn't care. "Rose?" i heard someone whisper.

i stood going to the front of my cell. "Liss, what are you doing here? i thought i wasn't aloud visitors." i said.

she smiled. "You aren't."

i stared at her and groaned. "you didn't." she nodded. she had used compulsion to get down here, to me. i finally for the first time today opened the link between us, well what was left of it. the link was still kind of fraid from the whole saving Demitri thing. "Lissa, you could get in major trouble for coming down here."

She shrugged. "I know you didn't do this Rose." she said looking at the bars around me as if she could get me out.

"It doesnt matter if i didn't do it or not. they just want someone to blame and they picked me. I'll be fine, I'm gunna get out of this. you'll see." i grinned, hiding how much i didn't believe in what i just said. i could feel that she doubted everything would be ok. "I'm fine." i said, again. "Trust me, I'm not going down for this." i said, thinking of what Abe had told me. 'You wont go to trial, i wont allow it.' or at least it was something close to that.

Lissa stayed and talked with me for a little while then she had to go. after she disapeared behind the doors i sighed. alone...again. i sat down in a corner and thought all of this through. i had to find a way out of this with out becoming a criminal on the run. whihc is what i supose will happen if Abe got me out of here. what goes around comes around, i thought. i had busted one of the most evil Morroi out of the most secure Prisons known to the Morroi, and now here i am sitting in a cell framed for murder. not just any murder the Queen's muder. Victor just had to have something to do with this. i thought.

hey guys!!!! So sorry i haven't posted in a while! my account wouldnt let me log in. so i've made a new one. i will update this story as soon as i can. again sorry for the long wait. my computer was acting up and when i was finaly able to get on again my account was inactive...

Chapter 3



I wanted to get back to my dreams. Then the door at the end of the hall opened and wonders of wonders, Dimtri came walking down the hall. The gardians walking with him led him to his cell, right next to mine. had he been there lastnight? Good lord, I hope i dont talk in my sleep....

"Rose." he said. I watied for more to come but it didnt.

"Dimitri.." i sighed. "I think i get it, the you not wanting me around and stuff. you blame yourself for things that youve done. But you know what? It wasnt you that did them, you need to get over yourself and start living life again." I said then went over to the other side of my cell, furthest from him.

"Rose.." he said.

This time i cut him off. "I dont want to hear it. I'm done listening to your excuses, and your attemps to keep me from loving you. No matter what you do or say it wont change how i feel and you're going to have to live with that." i said. "Live knowing i died, still..."

"You're not going to die." he said sharply but with no effection. i smirked, i got him that time.

i leaned against the back wall of my cell and rested my head against the wall as well, soon getting bored i switched possitions. I was now laying on the floor staring at the Ceiling, counting the little holes or whatever.

After i dont know how long food came. i couldnt beleive how fast i ate it, after i finished the water the gaurd took the tray away.


*I know it's short but it's hard getting back into the 'Rose attitude' after being out of it for a while. I'll try and make it longer next time*
