Chapter Sixteen:
By the next morning I woke up to someone fingering my hair softly trying not to wake me. I inhaled deeply smelling Aaron’s cologne before exhaling into his chest. Aaron laughed softly ruffling up my hair before whispering “Good morning, Rosalyn.”
I smiled before lifting my head off his chest to look at him eye to eye. “Morning, love.” I whispered back leaning in pressing a kiss to his lips. He returned my kiss by kissing me back until I pulled away to relax back into his chest. “Umm, the sun feels so warm. What time is it?” I mumbled into him and he laughed before giving me a squeeze. “A little after one, darling.”
“Is anyone else up?”
“Someone was moving a while ago but I think it’s just my father. He doesn’t sleep much since mom died.” Aaron said sounding sad at the last part. My thumb rubbed on his ribcage and he looked down at me before I kissed his softly. “She was a wonderful mother Aaron, she wouldn’t want you to be sad.”
He smirked before nodding then ruffled up my hair again. “You always know the right things to say Rose,”
“Well one of us has too,” I teased sitting up and he rolled his eyes at me. “Flirt,”
“You love me,” I smiled before kissing his forehead and climbed over him to get off the bed. “Yes I do,” he said when I was off. “Where you goin’, darling?” he asked sounding very southern making me laugh. I walked back to the bed and kissed his forehead again. “You worry too much, love.”
“I worry because I care Rose,” he told me sitting up and placed his hand over my injured one. “Where are you going?” he asked normally this time. “I want to see my mother, she doesn’t know I’m alive yet.”
“I suggest you put on pants, wolf girl. Your legs are very burned.” Aaron said giving me a once over. I gave myself a once over and winced. I did look pretty bad. “Pants it is,” I murmured before leaving Aaron to get dressed. I changed my shirt for one of his dark blue button down ones and my jeans were black. I found a dark brown waist belt that I put on to make his shirt seem more feminine on me. Aaron watched me get dressed with a sideways smile. “I think you pull my shirts off better then I do,” he told me as I rolled up the sleeves to my elbows. “Do I?” I asked him running my hands through my hair to fix it from him ruffling it so much. “If you undo one more button and wear Derek’s necklace with Katrina’s ring it’ll complete the look.” He told me and I got this terrible feeling in my gut. “I think they tore them off me,” I told him and he gave me a confused look before reaching over to the bedside table where he picked up Derek’s necklace and the ring. “You took them off before you left, Rose.” He told me getting up and faced me in worry. “How much drugs did they give you?” he asked looking at my patched arm. I shrugged. “I really can’t say, Aaron.”
He pressed his lips to my forehead slipping the ring on my finger then stepped behind me to clasp the necklace around my neck. He kissed my neck once before his hands reached around me to undo the one button he was talking about. His thumb grazed my skin lightly but it was so warm. When he was about to take his hands away I took them pressing them against my chest by the necklace. “Your hands are so warm,” I sighed and he smirked before kissing my neck again. “I’m supposed to be warm, darling.”
I turned around in his arms then pressed my cheek against his chest listening to his heart beating steadily. “You don’t have your bandage anymore,” I pointed out quietly. “No, I took it off a few days ago.”
“Have you changed?”
“I’m not aloud yet.”
I looked up at him and kissed him again before whispering “You’re very brave, Aaron. I’m glad you are my Alpha.”
“You are too kind Rose,”
I smiled at him before escaping his hold to squeeze his hand. “I’m going to see Eve now. You should get more sleep, love. You’re eyes are darker then your hair.”
Aaron smirked. “I’m not going to leave you, I can wait to sleep with you in my arms again.”
“You’re a fool, Aaron.”
“Yes,” he murmured before bending to my ear. “But I’m your fool.”
I laughed before ruffling his hair this time. “See you in the kitchen later?”
“Coffee and muffins?”
“You bet.”
“Later sounds perfect.” He told me before giving me one last kiss then sent me to go find Eve. I slipped down the hall to her room where I opened the door slowly and saw her lying on her side asleep. I smiled before walking over and lying down beside her. She moaned before muttering “Blake, go away.”
“Does he bug everyone? Mike was the exact same thing. ‘Blake, go away.’” I mimicked his tone from yesterday. Eve opened her eyes and gasped. “Hi mom,” I said giving her a faint smile. The tears of relief welled in her eyes when she reached out and touched my cheek to make sure I wasn’t a dream. I rolled closer like I used to do when I was a kid and curled up beside her. Eve held me tightly to her body crying in my hair making me smile. “I’m okay,” I whispered to her and she nodded before letting go to wipe her eyes. “I’m sorry,” she whispered before sitting up and looked down at me. “How…? When did you get back?” she sniffed and I sat up beside her. “Blake found me and kicked their asses. I got back last night but I really needed to just sleep for a bit. Sorry I didn’t come sooner.” I said and she shook her head before hugging me again. “Oh Rosalyn, I was so worried about you.”
“I’m okay, mom.”
“Did they hurt you honey?” she asked wiping her eyes again before looking at me. “I’ll be fine,” I said avoiding the question some what. She gave me a worried look. “Please, you can tell me Rose.”
“It’s kind of awkward to say,”
I saw the realization in her eyes. “… Did they… force themselves onto you?”
I hesitated before nodding yes. “Yeah,”
“Oh honey,” she plead pulling me into her. I hugged her tightly back. “I’m going to be okay,” I whispered and she smiled before kissing my forehead. “You are so strong, honey. Strong like your father.”
I smirked then nodded yes. “How are you?” I asked and she smiled before wiping her face dry. “So much better.”
“Good, I’m glad.”
She hugged me again then told me in a very motherly way “Don’t you dare do that again, Rosalyn. I nearly had a heart attack when Aaron came downstairs looking for you.”
“I promise,”
“Good,” she said then looked back at me. “Oh dear, look at you. Have you lost weight?”
I looked down at myself and felt my ribs, I was a bit bonier then normal. “A bit,”
“God, go eat something.”
“Okay,” I said before getting up but looked back at her. “I love you, mom.”
“Love you too, honey.”
We smiled once more at each other before I slipped out of her room but didn’t head to the kitchen. I went into Abe’s. I snuck into his room not making a sound when I found him sitting on the roof outside his window leaned up against the other side of glass looking down at his lap. I saw his arm moving like he was either writing or drawing on something when I got closer to him. Quietly I got through the window before sighing and leaning against the glass next to him. “The trees are really pretty on this side of the house, I was robbed.” I said looking out at the tall evergreens only feet away from us. The air was warm and smelled like the forest making me feel even more at home then Aaron did when I smelt his cologne this morning. Abe jumped surprised from hearing my voice before hugging me around my shoulders to not hurt me. “Oh Rose, I was hoping you were here when I saw Blake’s car.” He told me as he let me go then gave me a confused look. “What did you do to your hair? It’s straight.”
“Hi Abe,” I smirked and he hugged me again. “It’s been so weird without you, Rose. Are you okay?” he asked me and I ruffled his hair. “You worry too much, Abe.” I told him and he let me go to give me a stern look. “You’re avoiding my question.”
“No, I’m not avoiding it. I’m choosing not to tell you.” I mumbled and his look hardened. “Rose,”
“You’re worse then Aaron,”
“Am not!”
I raised an eyebrow at him before kissing his cheek. “I’m going to be fine Abe.”
“Going to be?”
“Once I heal.”
“From?”
“These,” I muttered pulling my sleeve up further to show him where the burns started. “Oww,” Abe said taking my wrist carefully to get a better look. “Did you at least kick the guy’s ass?”
“No, Blake did that for me. I was a mess to be honest with you.”
“Well yeah, I would have been too. You were gone for like a week.”
“How come you know what to say to make people feel better?” I asked him hugging his shoulders. He gave me a sideways smile before saying “I’ve learned from the best.”
“Aw Abe,”
“So now what happens?”
“You know, I have no clue.”
“You should eat something, that shirt is big on you.”
“It’s Aaron’s,”
“Fine, bigger then normal.”
I smirked. “Now you’re like Eve.”
“I’m just saying,” he said lifting his hands in the ‘what am I to do?’ action. “Come on,” I said taking his hand as I got up to leave. Quickly Abe gathered his art stuff before following me through the window and tossed it lightly on his bed but took his hand away from mine to fix it. I smiled at him as I watched him put his things away before turning to me. “I kind of like your hair short like this,”
“I kind of do too.”
“What does Aaron think?”
“I think he could careless about it. He’s just happy I’m home alive and somewhat unharmed.”
“But what did he say about it?”
“I think he likes it.”
“Promise me you won’t go away without him again. He was starting to get on my nerves from all the worry… and pacing.”
“Aaron paced?”
“Right above my head… all night long.”
“Sorry about that, I’ll tell him to calm down.”
“Thank you,”
Abe and I smiled at each other before started to head to the door where we walked down the stairs to the kitchen. No one was inside yet meaning either they were getting dressed or still asleep in their rooms. Abe was ahead of me and went for the cereal while I went for coffee I’m assuming Blake made earlier this morning. Like on cue Blake poked his head into the kitchen and flashed me a grin. “Sleep well?”
“Once Aaron calmed down,” I admitted pouring my coffee and sipped it. “Black?” Abe asked looking over at me like I was crazy. I never drink black coffee. “It’ll keep me going,”
Blake gave me a understanding smirk before continuing to walk away leaving Abe and I alone. “It’s nice having him back,” Abe said sitting at the table but was facing me as I hopped onto the counter and drank my coffee. “How long is he staying?”
“He never mentioned leaving yet,” Abe said spooning his colourful, no doubt sugary, cereal into his mouth. “We should ask him to stay, be a family again now that Aaron is living with us instead of his apartment.”
“You know, I don’t think I’ve ever gone to the apartment before.”
“No one has, not even Blake.”
“Do you think when you get older you’re going to move out to some apartment?”
“I don’t know Abe, it depends on where I’m going after high school.”
“Would you bring Aaron with you?”
I smiled at him before sipping my coffee. “Probably,”
“Only probably? Not a definitely?” Aaron asked wondering into the kitchen and rested his hip against the counter by me. “Couldn’t wait for me, darling?”
“Abe persuaded me,” I said giving him a wink. “Still, not a definitely?” Aaron asked me again and I smiled before leaning over and kissing his forehead. “You know the answer, love.”
“Where’d the names come from? I can remember when you would call him–”
“Nothing, Abe.” I cut him off, Aaron raised an eyebrow at me. “Okay, now I’m slightly frightened.”
“You should,” Abe teased before picking up his bowl and leaving. “Where are you going?” I asked him and he paused in the door way. “It’s obvious Aaron wants to make out with you, I rather not cough up my breakfast after just starting it.” He said before leaving. I looked back at Aaron and he gave me another sideways grin. “Smart boy,”
I rolled my eyes. “Eat something, Aaron.” I said shoving a muffin into his hands. He made a face at it before looking back at me. “Not want I wanted to taste this morning but if you insist.” He teased tearing off a small section from the top then offered it to me. “You are eating too,” he said when I pushed his hand away. “Later,”
“Rosalyn,”
“What?”
“You need to eat Rose,”
“I said later Aaron,”
“I can see your ribs,”
“I’ll be fine.”
He reached out for my hand and held it against my ribcage before rubbing my fingertips over my own bones. I felt them, every single on even through my shirt. And they hurt, so much. I winced then I looked up at Aaron meeting his gaze before he stepped closer letting his hips bump my knees. “Darling, I worry about you. About what they did to you and how they touched you,” Aaron touched my ribs with his own hands this time but I winced again and he stopped. His eyes deepened with worry bent over to my ear whispering “Will you let me see your ribs?”
“I’m just sore, it’s from the ropes Aaron.”
“Please,”
“Aaron,”
“Please, Rose.” Aaron whispered breathing against my neck with his lips to my ear lob, his hands grasping my hips pulling me into him. My knees parted around his hips when he did that while resting my head against his shoulder. “Alright,”
Aaron let me go slowly before helping me off the counter and together we moved quickly back to our room. I sat on the bed when Aaron closed the door leaving us alone in the room. When Aaron turned around he came over to the bed and cupped my jaw in his hand. He kissed me lightly, the ball from his piercing just barely touching my bottom lip. Carefully Aaron unhooked my belt from my waist, undid my shirt, and then slid it off my shoulders. I stopped kissing him to look into his eyes when Aaron’s traveled from my face to my ribs. I found myself on my back with Aaron’s hands brushing my skin over the bruises and welts I received while I was kidnapped. I winced over some spots and sighed disappointed while running my hands over my face. Aaron’s mouth came down to my stomach before going over the spots I winced at. “Is there a spot I missed that hurts?” he whispered to me but I shook my head no. “I told you I was fine,”
“Just making sure, darling.”
“I’m fine, love.”
“You know what would be fun?” he asked me sitting up so he was looking down at me eye to eye while brushing my hair out of my eyes with this fingertips carefully. “What?” I asked back touching his chest feeling his heart beating quickly. He needs to run. “A run right?” I added and he smiled at me. “We can go easy darling, just around the house a couple of times to stretch our legs.”
“It’s still sunny out,” I pointed out and he smiled at me before kissing my forehead. “Not in a few hours it won’t be,”
“What are we going to do for a few hours then?”
“Easy,” he told me before I found myself on my stomach lying on top of him with his arms around my hips. “We can just stay here like this,” he told me kissing the crown of my head. I smiled and hugged him tightly. I looked up into Aaron eyes before fingering his piercing and traced his lips softly making him smile. He let me touch his mouth but eventually Aaron kissed my fingers making me smile. “I missed you,” I whispered against his shoulder, Aaron squeezed my hips. “I missed you too,”
By the time dinner came around it was already late at night. Aaron and I stayed up in our room for most of the afternoon until he told me I had to go eat something because it was now later. I didn’t argue with him and when we came downstairs dinner was set. We were sitting in our usual spots but had Blake in Aaron’s old one across from me. Mike clamed to have already eaten and had left for a run leaving two seats empty. It was a quiet dinner despite of my return but I guess by how I looked everyone figured I just needed the time to heal before getting back to normal. After a few minutes of pure silence Blake broke it by saying the obvious. “It’s really quiet around here now,”
“We’ve gotten smaller,” Eve pointed out not looking up from her plate as she cut into her chicken. It was silent again but like before Blake tried to start conversation. “But it won’t always be like this, will it?”
I stopped cutting my carrot and glanced up at him from under my new bangs. “What do you mean?” Eve asked putting down her cutlery and resting her elbows on the table. I shook my head before sticking my cut up carrot in my mouth. “Expansion, you know, with the family.”
I almost choked on my carrot.
I put my cutlery down and covered my mouth to keep me from coughing my carrot back up when I felt Aaron touch my shoulder to make sure I wasn’t going to die on him. After I managed to swallow and pat his hand telling him I was fine Eve replied back to Blake’s question. “It is not something we have discussed about,”
“Besides,” I cut in looking up back at Blake, Aaron was watching me somewhat worried. “If I ever have your grandchild it’s not going to be because you think our pack is small. It’s going to be when the time is right, I’m only seventeen Blake. Sure, you may think Aaron is at that point of his life to start thinking about getting married and having kids but I’m not. And after what Jeremy did to me I don’t plan on getting pregnant anytime soon,” I said the last part coldly staring him down before getting up, nodded to Eve as thanks for dinner and left without a word. “Why the hell would you bring that up? She’s been back for less then forty eight hours.” I heard Aaron snap at his father, I paused in the hall to listen to what Blake had to say. “I thought she knew how you felt.” Blake said simply but Aaron growled “I would never force myself onto her, father. She is my love of my life and I can wait for what I want. I’m not like you,”
I heard the sound of a chair grinding against the floor before a quickly apology to everyone else from Aaron before his footsteps came closer. He was walking quickly and nearly ran me down in the hall from where I paused, his chest bumped into my shoulder but he caught my hips to keep me from falling. I held onto his shoulders for support till I found my balance and stopped staggering. I looked up at Aaron, he looked down at me, then we both looked at the back door and made a break for it. Running as fast as my legs would take me in human form I followed Aaron as we ran through the grass then the edge of the trees. We dodged rocks and jumped over fallen trees, avoided dead animals we hunted and watched out for branches waiting to get our eyes. My heart was pounding in my chest, my lungs screaming for air but I never felt so free. The wind was blowing against my face, twisting in my hair and whipping at my clothes. The ache in my sides grew worse and worse as I ran, I tried to ignore it but after a few minutes I couldn’t bare the pain and stopped. My chest heaving as I gasped for air clutching my sides trying to keep them from feeling like I was going to fall apart when Aaron realized I had stopped and ran back to me. His cheeks were starting to flush a healthy shade of red as his breathing was heavy when he came to my side. His eyes on the other hand were confused but worried. “Darling?” he asked reaching out to me but I shook him off. “I’m fine,” I wheezed but the ache grew when I spoke. I took a few deep breathes but that also made it worse. “Rose?” Aaron asked me again when I couldn’t catch my breath, I fell onto my knees from the dizziness. “Rose!” Aaron gasped following me to his knees to catch me, I collapsed into his arms seeing only his sapphire blue eyes before the night went black.

Chapter 14

"Lacey?" I heard my name as a light whisper you could barely hear my name being called if you didn't listen really closely you wouldn't have even heard the voice...I turned my focus to where the voice was coming from. I felt something on my face. A hand caressing my cheek very gently and soft. " You where dreaming", it's okay your here now and safe. What? safe why was i in danger? It started to come rushing back to me. "No" i thought I remembered Jordan and sheadon on the floor me being locked a room the dream of Jeremiah. I swallowed even thinking his name gave me shivers. THe last time i was awake Jordan had told me i was a..."Vampire" I didn't feel any different. I felt like i had slept the last two days. I felt something sharp in my mouth it almost felt like it was cutting my tongue i tasted blood. What was that? I moved my tongue to the upper part of my teeth the teeth all felt fine in the back i moved forward when i stopped. There where two sharp teeth that stuck out from the others. They where...Fangs! I bolted up my eyes shoot open, i jumped off wherever i had been lying it was still pitch dark outside i couldn't see any light from where i was i pushed against the wall feeling around for anytype of door or window or anything to get out of here! Where ever i was it wasn't safe and i had to get out of here.

"There's no way out." I heard a voice behind me shout.
"Who's there!, and what did you do to me!
Really Lacey? you don't have any idea of who this is You told me you loved me and we ran together in the woods you saved me.

Jordan?!.

Mhm, he smirked.
"Ohh my god!" What have you dont to me! I didn't do anything to you. Don't act dumb! I have fangs there's no windows or doors no visible light you turned me into a vampire!
I thought this is what you wanted you told me you loved me, Jordan i didn't mean that when i said that i was under alot of medicine and who knows what else you drugged me with. Even if i had ment it it didn't mean i wanted you to turn me into a Damn Vampire! It was quiet i new i hurt him for the millionth time i just kept hurting him over and over again. I crossed my arms he deserved this. There's no turning back now...what's done is done. he said coldly. No duh, Then let me out of here i don't even want to be near you right now. "Fine", he said. But you go out there and you will burn into a million peices. Ha, i sighed i'd rather burn into a million peices than be a blood sucking vampire. To late honey like it or not you are a vampire. he hissed. I heard a door crack open all i needed was to see a crack of light and i would no where he was and i was going to kill him for sure.
I heard him move around i kept my position very still not backing down or moving a inch i felt him brush past me, finally i heard a door crack open. The light shot in it hurt to see the light that was shown he was noticable in the shadows. I charged as fast as i could and grabbed him from behind he fell to the ground making grunting noises, my fangs where noticeable now i was on top of him i was in control now. The door open wider i could see his face. I staggered back as far as i could.

WTF.

Chapter Seventeen:
The pain in my chest was gone when I woke up. The air was warm but had a slight breeze like it was coming from a window. I lay on my back looking up at a ceiling I didn’t recognize in a somewhat comfortable bed, the sheets were soft against my skin. I was confused and didn’t understand what was going on even when I did turn my head to see around the room. There was medical equipment everywhere, against the walls, on shelves, between the walls and the bed, I saw a operating table, lost of random machines and a bunch of small tools. Clearly I was in some medical place but it didn’t seem like a hospital. “Rose?” I heard Aaron’s voice ask as he lifted from a chair then I saw him sit beside me on the bed, his hand cupping my jaw with a smile. I smirked back placing my hand over his. “Hi,”
“How do you feel?”
“Not in pain,” I admitted then looked around the room again. “Where are we?”
“Michel’s personal place.” He said then leaned over to kiss my forehead. “Rose,” he said softly placing his other hand now on my face too. “Mike told me after you blacked out that your lung collapsed. Some of your ribs fractured and collapsed it a few days ago. He says you’re going great and removed the tube last night but I’m still worried.”
“My lung collapsed?” I repeated and he nodded before smoothing my hair. “It’s okay now Rose, you just scared us all for a while.”
“Did you miss your run again?” I asked him and he gave me a loving smile before pecking me softly on my lips. “I love you,”
I smirked back placing my other hand on his jaw. “Love you too, Aaron.”
He rubbed his thumbs lightly on my cheeks before I asked “Are we alone?”
“No, the kids are here with me.”
“Aaron,” I said softly taking his hands off my face to rest over my abdomen since my ribcage was out of commission. “Hmm?” he asked lacing his fingers with mine. “About what Blake said,” I started and I saw his eyes shift from happy mate to annoyed Aaron. “Forget what he said Rose,” he told me but I shook my head. “He mentioned you and what you wanted, what’s that?”
“Nothing you need to worry about Rose,” he insured me smoothing my hair again and kissed the top of my head. “Aaron, please tell me.” I begged him and he sighed before taking his hands away from mine to run over his face and into his hair. His cheeks had stubble again a little more then the night I came home from, his eyes looked so tired and black, his hair was a mess and he looked stressed out. “It’s just thoughts Rose, nothing you need to worry about.” He said softly giving me a sideways grin. I raised an eyebrow at him. “Aaron,”
“It’s just a daydream,”
“Will you tell me about it?”
Smoothing my hair Aaron said softly “I was just thinking about what could happen after school in a couple of years, nothing you need to worry about.”
“What could happen?”
“I could go work with Michel, you can go to school, we could get married, I don’t know, start a family of our own. The normal guy daydream.”
“Kids?”
“Rose, it’s just a dream. I doesn’t mean anything.”
“How many in this dream?”
“Two or three,”
“I like odd numbers,” I said and he gave me a soft smile. “Go back to sleep darling, you need to rest.”
“Will you stay with me?” I asked him and he nodded yes before pressing a kiss to my forehead leaving his lips there for several seconds. When he pulled away I rolled over onto my left side and squeezed his hand wanting him to lying behind me when I heard someone knocking on the door softly. Aaron gave me a small smile before getting up and crossing the room. I didn’t see who was there at first but then I heard Abe asking “Is she okay?”
“I thought I heard you guys talking,” Trevor pointed out and Aaron laughed. “Go and see, she won’t bite.”
The boys walked carefully over to the bed, Abe on my left with Trevor on my right, then grinned at me when I smiled. “Hey,”
“Hi Rose,” Abe said shifting carefully to perch on the bed. “How are you feeling?” Trevor asked doing the same, Aaron was walking over watching us before he took a spot at my feet subconsciously rubbing my calf with his fingers. “Better now my boys are here,” I told them taking their hands and squeezing them to insure them I was fine. Abe grinned more and Trevor blushed, I never really call him ‘my boy’. “You guys look tired,” I pointed out feeling my eyebrows knit together. “A smidge,” Abe admitted and Trevor nodded. “Actually, a lot more then a smidge.” He corrected Abe and I shook my head. “Has sleeping crossed your guys’ mind?”
None of them answered. I rolled my eyes before saying “Come here, Aaron was sending me back to sleep anyway. I don’t mind sharing the bed, it’s pretty big anyway.”
Abe kicked off his shoes first and crawled in on my left in front of me, I smiled letting one arm drape against his waist as he curled up beside me, Trevor hesitated looking back at Aaron like for permission to share the bed with me. Aaron gave him a nod “She’s your Alpha as much as I am, Trev. I can share my mate.”
Trevor gave him a smile before kicking off his shoes like Abe and slipped into bed behind me. I felt his forehead resting between my shoulder blades when he stopped adjusting so he was comfortable. I sighed happily before closing my eyes and sinking further into the bed. I could feel Aaron watching us from the foot of the bed when he turned off the light making it dark. Abe’s breathing had already dropped to the slow, even pace when you’re asleep, Trevor was getting there. This was a good moment, I was around the kids, they knew I was okay, I knew they were okay, I was going to be okay, and Aaron was just a worrying like normal.
Aaron,
Opening my eyes I realized my moment wasn’t complete yet. Aaron, the love of my life, my mate was still sitting at the foot of the bed watching. He had a smile of his face that looked almost fatherly seeing me asleep curled up with Abe and Trevor. “Aaron,” I whispered and he shifted slightly “Yes, Rose?”
“I’m not comfortable,”
“Should I tell them to go?” he asked me but I shook my head, Abe stirred so I stopped. “I’m not comfortable because I’m missing my mate.”
Aaron gave me a sideways smile before getting on all fours above us all to kiss me good night then came to lie behind Trevor. I felt his arm draping over my waist carefully before his finger slipped under my shirt to touch my abdomen snaking as high as he could before his hand touched Abe’s body around my ribs. His hand rested there, subconsciously rubbing me softly as his breath reached the back of my neck. He kissed there softly before whispering to me “I love you,”
“Good night Aaron. I love you, too.”

I had been back for a couple of weeks now. My collapsed lung was more or less completely healed, my rope burns were gone, the gashes and smaller cuts had healed or scared, the grazes from the bullets left their marks but no longer hurt or bled, I was still as thin as they left me but now my family understands I’m okay, and my hair did grow but I cut it short again liking the new length. Mike had left our den to go back to his home just down the road from us but that’s okay. Aaron has made a deal about my health with Mike that I get looked on the every second Sunday. School was starting back up again, I wasn’t pleased but Aaron made it seem not so bad for me. It was my last day without having to worry about school, my last night in summer and I spent it with Aaron. We were running tonight, one of the first runs in a long time. Aaron was ahead of me but I wasn’t too far behind. The soil felt cool between the pads of my feet but the air around me was warm and thick. The trees gave off a earthy smell as the wind whipped through them, the bird chirping happily before returning to their nests to sleep. The sounds of Aaron’s paws hitting the earth filled the night, I could hear his breathing as he panted. His tail whipped from side to side behind him, he was happy. Darting left Aaron manoeuvred through the fallen trees and climbed over rocks. I could hear my nails scraping over the stone as I climbed, Aaron was faster then I was and was gone already. I watched his dark fur running around the area as I stood on top of the rock, my breath panting and my heart beating quickly in my chest. My tongue flopped out of my mouth needing water but I wasn’t dying yet. The wind danced in my fur when Aaron stopped and inhaled deeply, he caught my scent. I watched him as he lowered his muzzle to the ground and started to sniff me out, his tail still wagging from side to side. I could help but laugh. I heard a small wheezing from Aaron, I was confused at first but when his wolfy grin met mine I knew he was laughing with me too. Leaping into the air Aaron landed on a fallen tree before he jumped again and landed beside me. He rubbed up against me before burying his nose deep in my fur. A playful growl came from deep in his throat when his teeth nipped at my shoulder. I growled back bumping his head, my tail hit my sides. Aaron noticed the movement and rubbed his muzzle against mine. I never really show my wolf side when I hunt with Aaron, normally my tail is just an extension but today I was a happy wolf. I rubbed my muzzle back against Aaron’s before slipping under his front paws so I was curled up against his chest. Aaron dipped his head onto my shoulder breathing softly in my fur. I could smell the blood off his fur when he got close to me like this, I smiled before turning my head to lick his jowls and neck. I felt a soft growl deep in throat as I licked the blood away, Aaron was enjoying this. When the blood was gone Aaron switched places with me and started to lick my own face. I closed my eyes feeling the hardness of his tongue grazing my fur when Aaron playfully pushed me onto my back with his paws beside my body resting his chest on my bent legs. Aaron growled at me but it was loving when he ran his nose over my chest and neck sniffing me lightly then looked back into my eyes. I gazed back at him rubbing my cheek against his feeling my tail twist with this, Aaron’s wolfy grin grew. I nodded to the trees as I wriggled out from under Aaron. He barked at me not wanting me to go but he didn’t follow as I ran to the tree’s edge. I changed back to my human form and was on all fours when two hands came out of nowhere pushing me onto my back. I gazed up into Aaron’s sapphire blue eyes when we finished rolling, he held my forearms in his hands pinning me down by my head while our legs tangled together below us. His wolfy grin was gone but it was replaced with Aaron’s sideways smirk I love so much. I reached up and flickered my tongue against his lip ring turning it when Aaron jerked his head to meet my lips with his. Tongues sliding effortlessly into each other’s mouths Aaron’s hold against my forearms loosened when I grabbed either side of his jaw kissing him harder with the tips of my fingers caught in his damp hair. Aaron grasped my waist squeezing me and pulling me closer, my legs twisting around his feeling his hips on the inside of my thighs. Aaron got on all fours, my body was wrapped around him so much that my body lifted with his. Aaron chuckled softly before pulling his lips away and unwrapped my legs from his hips. I scowled. “Aaron,” I complained and he rubbed his thumbs on my thighs. “Darling, you have school tomorrow,” he began but I made a face and he paused. “And it’s late already. Wouldn’t you want to mess around in our room so we don’t need to worry about getting back home?” he asked and I flashed him a smile. “Lead the way, love.”
Aaron carefully got up from me and took my hand leading me back through the trees. Here and there Aaron and I stopped to make out against a tree or rock but eventually we stood under our window of the house. Aaron let go of my hand to climb up the house reaching out and pulling me up with him. When I sat on the bed Aaron smirked before walking over and reached out for my hair pulling something from it. I was confused at first till he showed me the moss and twigs. “Shit!” I muttered getting up and heading to the bathroom where I started to pick at the vegetation. “Come on, this is going to take forever to get out.” I mumbled trying to take out a twig, Aaron came up behind me and started to join me with my unpicking. “I kind of like it,” Aaron said and I shot him a look through the mirror. “No seriously, it’s woodsy and very sexy.” He said in all seriousness making me feel a little worried. “I’m going to try a shower,” I said pulling a bunch of moss out, Aaron grinned at me. “Smart idea,”
“No, you stay here while I shower, lover boy.” I teased him and he growled before picking me up in his arms pressing me against him with a smothering kiss. I sighed kissing him back but I slapped his butt cheeks and he stopped while growling at me again. “Fine, go, be clean, darling.” He frowned but let me go and headed to the bedroom. “Thank you Aaron,”
“Uh huh,”
I rolled my eyes before slipping back into the bathroom where I had a shower trying to brush the stuff out of my hair, most of it got out in the shower. As I dried my hair and brushed my teeth wrapped in my towel I looked in the mirror at the bed where Aaron lay in his boxers with his arms behind his head staring at the ceiling. “Is it gone?” he asked me turning his head to look at me, I nodded yes. “It is,”
“I miss the woodsy,”
“Now you just have the sexy,”
He flashed me a grin then patted the bed beside him, I smiled back as I slipped into my nightgown. Walking back to Aaron he smiled reaching out to pull the back of my thighs over to him when I crawled over to straddle his hips. His slipped his hands under my dress to grab my butt making me smile. “Rose, I know this isn’t exactly the moment to ask but I want to ask you this,” he said sliding his hands from my butt to between my legs not quite within me but he was touching me. I bit my bottom lip feeling his hands before breathing “What’s that?”
His hands left me when Aaron asked “About what happened between you and Jeremy, now I know about what Blake had given you but I just want to know something. Are you late?”
I ran my hand through his hair before kissing his forehead. “I’m fine Aaron, stop worrying. No, I wasn’t late.”
“I didn’t mean to jut come out and ask,”
“It’s fine, love. You worry about your pack, that’s normal.”
“Do you trust me enough to try Rose?”
“Aaron,” I whispered not sure how to answer but he sneaked his hands back up my dress letting his fingers slip inside me. I gasped and moaned feeling his hand probing further into my body, my eyes closing from pleasure. Aaron growled then his finger made the ‘come here’ motion inside me, I gasped clutching his chest feeling the wave of pleasure running through me. “Ummm,” I moaned as his hand moved in and out “Oh yes!”
Aaron smirked before shifting his position so I was on my back with him above me, his hand still moving within me. “Aaron, please! I want you!” I begged and he flashed me a grin before taking his hand away from me. “You took the meds right?” he whispered nibbling on my ear lob. I nodded yes feeling my pulse quickening. “Wonderful,” Aaron breathed slipping the nightgown over my waist but I caught his hands helping him pull it completely over my head. I watched him as his eyes looked over my body, his mouth kissing my skin wherever he could before my hands grasped the waist band of his boxers and pulled them down. Aaron grinned at me before touching my thighs pushing them apart around his hips where he slowly eased himself into me. I moaned, Aaron thrust his hips to mine before his mouth kissed me. Hard. A deep growl came from Aaron’s throat as he moaned trusting harder into me, I gasped cutting off our kiss. Aaron’s mouth went to my neck biting the soft flesh with his arms wrapping around me pulling me against him. I moaned thrusting back to Aaron when as he thrust to me making him deeper inside me. I grabbed his butt holding him inside me panting in his ear when Aaron paused to let me hold him. My heart was racing in my chest pounding in my ears and neck when I looked up at Aaron who looked down at me giving me one deep thrust. Chapter 15

My whole body, inside, mind shut down nothing was working i could barely see without it being blury. I couldn't believe what i was seeing i couln't believe what was happening. How could of this happened it wasn't suppost to happen like this i was suppost to kill Jeremiah or find a way to save him..He found me instead and turned me into one of "him"..Jordan what happened to him?! "Lacey?" I heard him whisper, frightened the door had closed and it was back to being pitch dark i rolled into a ball not making any noise and moved as far as back to the wall as i could. "Where are you, let me explain please, i could here the longing in his voice the want and worry in his voice for me. Why was i hiding from him? After everything we had been through He would be the last person on this earth i would hide from. But something felt wrong it didn't feel right i felt trapped like a prisoner and i just wanted to be left alone..i wanted to be back to the way the where. But this was know and i needed to forget the past i needed to figure where i was what was going on, and find Jordan and see if he was okay i was so worried about him..and we had to get ouf of here..Silence fell through the room. Lacey, please his voice was louder this time i didn't move i stayed in the position i was in. Fine if i can't find you ill just tell you from where i am this room isn't very big im bound to find you sooner or later. I did not like the sound of that i swallowed so hard it felt like a knife was going down my throat not even seeing him in the light i knew he had a seductive smile and that wasn't good at all. It was jordan he turned on the light it burned i covered my eyes i saw the room there was a bed in the middle of the room a dresser the the very side and a small lamp on top of it it was empty there where no windows and i was in the farthest corner of the room. Lacey! he yelled and came running to me, Are you okay? What happened. He helped me up, I shoved him away the door was still open i ran as fast i could it was dark outside thank god i whispered i didn't stop i saw trees ahead and ran as fast as i could towards not stopping feeling the wind press with me as i ran and ran not knowing where i was going i could hear Jordan calling out my name and running towards me i pushed my legs harder. What the hell was going on? i thought. "Stop!" Lacey. I continued to run there was one thing i wasn't going to do and that was stop running i kept running not sure where i was going anywhere but here. i thought.

Do u two mind if I copy and paste ur stories into a word document. Its just I was getting confused cause it's one chapter of one story and then one chapter of another story. I would like to separate the two and read them both respectively.

Chapter Eighteen:
My buzzing alarm woke me from my sleep the next morning. Still groggy I slapped my right arm around looking for the clock but I hit the wall. I moaned. Clearly I was sleeping on his side. “Aaron…” I complained pushing his shoulder slightly, he too moaned. “What...” he mumbled and I sighed. “Turn the alarm off,”
“Can’t you do it?” he complained and I lifted my hand in search of the clock. “You’re closer,” I told him and he mumbled something again before I heard a few slaps then the clock stopped. It was quiet. Settling back into me I felt Aaron pull my back closer to him as his cheek rested on my chest by my breast as he lay on my stomach with his, our hips together with our legs twisting. My hands were on his back and shoulders naturally with his around me, I opened my eyes to find we were still lying with our heads where our feet normally are. “Oh,” I said feeling less groggy. “Oh what?” Aaron asked into my chest, I touched his shoulder then he looked up at me. “Darling?”
“How did we end up on this side again?” I asked him and he smiled before lowering his head back to my chest. He kissed me once before saying “We got creative by the half hour point,”
“Was it only half an hour?”
“No, an hour give or take a few minutes,” Aaron corrected me then gave me a squeeze. “You did great,”
“You lead me,”
“It was a first time,” he insured me before lifting his head to gaze back at me. “I’m sure you’ll think of something fun next time.”
“Aaron, I’m not going to be your sex slave.” I told him and he leaned closer to kiss me. “You know I wouldn’t dream of it, darling. Just thinking with my dick,” he teased me and I rolled my eyes. “Come on, love. Get off, I have school.”
“Ugh,” Aaron moaned bowing his head between his shoulders. “Stupid school,”
“What would you rather me do?” I asked and Aaron flashed me a grin. “We could hastily find some clothes, get coffee and breakfast, eat, come back up here, slowly take those clothes off, have more sex, fall asleep in the sun then run when it get’s dark.” He told me and I sighed. “You make it sound so good,” I groaned and he kissed me. “But you’re right about the school thing. The sooner you get out the sooner you’ll be in university with me.” he teased and I smiled. Slowly Aaron got off me, watching my body as I got up till I embraced him. Aaron hugged me back kissing the top of my head before letting go. “Get ready, wolf girl, you don’t want to be late.” He whispered and I sighed. “Fine, fine, fine.”
Aaron smiled a sideways smirk as I let him go to get ready. I had a quick shower, blow dried my hair, put on light make up, got dressed then left the bathroom where I found him shoving my stuff into my bag for me. I walked over to the bed and kissed his temple before swinging it over my shoulder. “Breakfast?” he asked me and I kissed him, hard. While kissing I got my hands down his shorts as he held my butt pulling me closer till he pulled away. “Rose,” he warned and I gave him a sexy grin before a flirty squeeze around him. I watched Aaron’s chest rise with a sigh and fall greatly from that but he shook his head and pulled my hands away. “Later, eat breakfast then head for school,” he told me and I kissed his forehead. “Don’t drive yourself crazy today, love. I want to come home to you in one piece.” I warned and he nodded. “I might go help with Michel today,” he shrugged his shoulders. I nodded then squeezed his hand and left. I went down to the kitchen where I found Eve making breakfast with Trevor, Abe and Sam eating away at the table going to leave in five minutes. Eve was still in her bathrobe when I came into the room, she kissed my forehead and handed me a plate but I took a piece of toast and a slice of bacon. I kissed her forehead back then ate quickly. “Sam are you driving?” I asked him and he gulped down the eggs then downed some of the orange juice. “Sure,”
“Assuming we’re dropping off Trevor and Abe,”
“Yeah, no problem.”
“Then you guys should get a move on it,” Eve warned and I looked at the clock. My five minutes were up. Muttered some swears I thanked her for breakfast before shoving an apple and yogurt into my bag. “What’s that?” she asked watching me. “Lunch,”
“Rosalyn that is not a lunch.”
“I wasn’t done grabbing stuff,” I told her and she rolled her eyes before lifting the brown bag and carefully dumped it into my bag. “Better?” she asked me and I smiled before hugging her. “Love ya mom,”
“Go, go. You’ll all be late.” She ushered us all out and quickly we chucked our bags into the back of Sam’s truck and climbed in. I got beside Sam with Abe on mu right and Trevor the window seat. Sam started the truck up, yawned then put it in reverse. On the steps I could see Eve watching us leave then Blake who was sitting on the porch reading the paper but last I saw Aaron leaning against the wooden door frame in his jeans and clearly slept in hair. I couldn’t help but smile. “Oh Jeeze, get a room.” Sam muttered then yawned. “It’s too early to see that,”
“See what?” I asked looking back at him as we drove away. “The lust in his eyes. His sex drive,”
“His what?” Abe asked but got a slap on the arm from Trevor. “Nothin’.” Trevor yawned back when Abe shot him a glare. “Good moon, men.” I muttered and Sam rolled his eyes. We dropped Trevor and Abe off at the middle school when Sam and I started to head to the high school. When we were parked outside I could see all the students in little circles meeting up with old friends and making new ones. I stared and watched from the inside of the cab, Sam did the same thing. “What class do you have right now?” he asked me as we watched a bunch of human girls embracing and chatting about their summers. “English with Armstrong.” I muttered and Sam inhaled. “Ouch, mind the second row at all costs. He gets people there. You’re safest bet is the third row, the first row has to run down for supplies a lot.”
“Thanks for the tip,”
The warning bell went meaning we only had a couple of minutes before school actually started. Sam and I piled out of the cab and grabbed our things. We walked together through the doors, he wrapped his arm around my waist pulling me into him when he whispered “Meet you by your door for break?”
“Yeah, sure Sam.” I agreed. He kissed my jaw by my ear before pecking me on the lips lightly. I watched him as he head off to his English twelve class when I started to head to Armstrong’s. It was a small ish class. Three rows of three desks that seated too. Most of the first and second row were filled with girls and their guys as they talked about parties and such, I made my way to the back sitting at a empty desk. Armstrong was a heavy man in his late forties, his once brown hair was greying and balding, his skin oily, he wasn’t tall if anything he was shorter then I was, and he was sitting on his desk in wait as he watched his classroom being filled with new students. A girl came into the room, her hair was platinum blonde and pin straight against her back, her face defined but it wasn’t manly, she was tall but it was most likely from her heels she wore, she had on a lot of eye liner but it made her indigo eyes pop. She walked alone, not recognizing anyone around her when she sat down in the second row in front of me. I tapped her shoulder and she turned to see what I wanted. Our gazes met, I could see in her eyes what she was. A werewolf. “Hi,” she said recognizing I was one too. “You don’t want to sit there, Armstrong uses people in the second row as examples all the time.” I warned her and her eyebrows knitted when she nodded. “Smart, thanks for the tip.” She said getting up and placing her bag in the empty pot beside me. “This isn’t taken right?” she asked as she got up to sit. I waved meaning go ahead. “I only know one person in this school but he’s in the twelve wing.” I said as she sat down extending her hand. “Now you know two, I’m Jade.”
“With indigo eyes?” I asked and she smiled. “Yeah, my mom’s colour blind. They look jade green to her.”
“Wow, that has to be interesting. I’m Rose.”
“Like the flower? Since we’re talking about the origin of our names and all.” Jade pointed out making me smile. “Nah, it’s short for Rosalyn.”
“Pretty, I love that name.”
“So did you ju–” I began but Armstrong cut me short by saying “Good morning all,”
There were some muffled good mornings back before he crossed his arms and glared at us all. “I see we’re still in summer,” A couple students laughed, I rolled my eyes. “Well, since it is the first day back I figured we should get to know our partners beside us and how they did during summer,” he suggested then looked over and pointed to a guy who took Jade’s seat before I warned her. “Mr. Bryan, how about you give the class a demonstration?”
The guy moaned and mumbled something before standing up, I elbowed Jade and she nodded and mouthed “Thank you,” to me. “Well,” he boy started before shoving his hands into his pockets of his shorts. “My name is Eric Bryan, and I didn’t do much this summer.” He said then at down. Armstrong waved him off before motioning for us to talk. I turned to Jade. “Like I was saying before, did you just move here?”
“Yeah, two weeks ago actually.” She said turning her chair to face me head on. “So what about you? What did you do this summer?” she asked and I smiled but lost it remembering all the terrible things that happened. My gut twisted and my heart ached. “It wasn’t a great one,” I admitted and she raised an eyebrow at me. “How? Forget where you changed and lost a good pair of pants?” she said half laughing. I smirked then ran my hand through my hair coming up short forgetting it was cut still. “Nah, I don’t bother dress anyway. My mate likes to see the ‘woodsy’ side of me.” I said and she smiled. “Mind the poison ivy, it’s a big turn off.” She warned me and we laughed. “Is your mate here?” I asked her and she nodded yes. “He’s in the twelfth wing too. Ethan Maxwell.”
“That’s good, been together long?”
“Since I was born,”
I smiled then she said “We should hang out some time, you know, go for a run or something. I heard there is only another pack besides my family but we’re pretty small.”
“Other pack?” I asked and she nodded. “Yeah, somewhere in the forest. A while from here actually. Their Alphas are big and black. I heard she’s some crazy wolf who has killed humans before, when they were armed. He is like the protector of everyone or something.”
“Aaron’s a good man,” I agreed and she gave me a look. “You know them?”
“Yeah,” I admitted then was about to tell her I was the crazy Alpha when Armstrong cut us off barking orders for some guys to stop horsing around. Jade rolled her eyed. “I hate high school,”
“So do I,”

By the time the bell rang for our break it was like Jade and I were long lost sisters. We were laughing at a joke she pulled when I mentioned about the trees getting caught in your fur as we started walking out the door. Sam greeted me with a grin extending his arm to wrap around my waist pulling me into him. “Making friends already, off to a good start.” He teased then kissed me lightly. A familiar gesture he does at school with me. I rolled my eyes but wrapped my arm around his waist hugging him hello. “Sam, this is my friend Jade. Jade, this is Sam.”
“Nice to meet you,” she said happily with a grin, her eyes going up and down his body discreetly before her grin grew and she reached out for someone past us. “Oh Rose, that’s Ethan.” Sam said when I turned around to see Jade bending up to kiss a guy for a greeting. He was way taller then I was, about Aaron’s height, he was a healthy build for his age, a slight tan from the sun, and his hair a deep auburn with lighter streaks like it was bleached from the sun. When they stopped kissing Jade took Ethan’s hand then said “Ethan, my new friend Rose. Rose, this is the love of my life.” She said making him smile before he wrapped his arms around her waist. “Hey,” he said to me, I flashed him a smile back. “Do you guys share classes too?” I asked Sam and he nodded yes. “The only desk left and I got it with this goof,” Sam teased before punching Ethan lightly in the arm like he did with Caleb. Ethan rolled his eyes before hitting him back. “I’m not that bad.”
Jade smiled at me before mouthing “Best friends already, it’s a sign!”
I smiled back before giving Sam a squeeze. “I was telling Rose about how we need to go on a run soon,” Jade said to Ethan after seeing me squeeze Sam. “Is there any good spots you guys know?” Ethan asked us and we nodded. “How bout you guys drop by after school? Get to know the pack and we can mess around in the forest. I know some really good spots to run,” Sam suggested and Jade flashed him a big grin. “Yeah, that’ll be great. Who should we find you?”
“What’s your last block?” I asked her and she let Ethan go to dig into her purse to look for her papers. Ethan read over her shoulder as Jade searched over the writing. “Art in room 204,”
“I’m right across the hall from that in my human science class.” Sam said and Ethan and I looked at each other. “I’m in the foods room,” I said and he gave me a faint smile before saying “I’m in Sam’s human science class.”
“Aw, I’m the odd one out.” I complained and Sam smiled before pulling me closer kissing my jaw by my ear. “I’m sure you’ll be fine.” He teased me and I rolled my eyes before pushing against his chest to get him away, Sam just smiled more. Jade smiled before cuddling up with Ethan when the bell went. I moaned then looked back at my friends. “Meeting somewhere for lunch?” I asked and Ethan nodded. “Sam and I passed a couple of benches on our way, meet there?”
“By the old lab?” I asked and Sam nodded. “Yeah,”
“Where?” Jade asked obviously clueless which made Ethan smile. “I’ll show you on the way to your class,” he told her murmuring into her hair. I looked back at Sam who gave me a smile then kissed my forehead. “Got to go, catch you all there.” Sam said and I second that. “Yeah, Sam’s right.”
“Kay, see you there.” Jade said giving us a wave as we started to leave. Sam caught my hand before whispering to me “I’m glad you made a friend Rose,”
“They’re nice, I think it’ll be nice to have another pack around.”
“How many more are in the pack? Ethan didn’t say much about his family besides Jade.” Sam asked me and I shrugged. “We can asked about it at lunch or something,” I suggested and Sam nodded before letting my hand go. “Catch you later Rose, I have Bridget waiting for me.”
“Have fun.” I teased and he rolled his eyes before turning down the hall into his class.

Chapter 16

It was pitch dark out, my eyes could see clearly the trees around me the bushes surronding me even the animals hiding around. My legs pushed harder they felt like they were going to exsplode off. I could hear Jordan a few paces back i knew he was close. I ran a few more miles not hearing anyting i started to slow down. Catching my breath. I looked for the nearest thing to hide in There where just trees around me hearing footsteps as quickly as i ran i hopped up the tree not caring how heigh it was the farther off the ground i was the better. I stopped about half way figuring i was out of sight and me scent wasn't noticeable. The footsteps got closer when i heard nothing. Sweat dripped down from my forehead. Vampires could sweat i thought? Gross. i whispered. I heard a movement. Shit, i thought. I pushed as far against the tree as i could no making any noise holding in as much breath as i could i could feel the bark running into my skin blood started to come. It hurt so bad but i wasn't about to scream. Why wasn't i showing myself to Jordan? Out of all the people i should trust him right? Or so i thought but he turned me into a "vampire" anger boiled inside me i would never ever forgive him for this. A few more movements..and then there was nothing i could here him vanish into the bushes. Wherever he was headed or thought i was headed. I wasn't going to dare get out of this tree..My eyes started to drop I couldn't be tired? Jeez i thought the last few days i did nothing but sleep. Not fighting it i decided to lay against the branch and let my eyes shut.

"Where is she?!?" You let her escape!, how could you be so stupid! She could be killing people for all we know or worse. Im sorry, she was fast to fast. Where was the last time you smelled her this locataion. My eyes darted open. Dawn was coming i could start to see the sun rising. I slightly shifted looking down to see who was there. I almost lost my balance when i looked down and saw..Jordan...and Jeremiah? If you don't find her by sunrise she'll be dead, Jeremiah hissed. He looked Beautiful he had dark brown hair that was even wavier than before it fell just below his eyes, oh god...his eyes the deep blue ones. He looked more muscalar and built it had been months since i had actually seen him in light. Seeing him like this he was even more handsome than when he was human...My whole inside hurt i wanted to touch him..to kiss those lips. I keep my pace and lowered my breathing. I turned to see Jordan he still looked the same except dirt on his jeans, and his hair was ruffled probally from chasing me all night, a sting of guilt went inside of me. I didn't notice another person by them. She was standing next to Jeremiah, To close...She was tall a inch shorter than me She had blond hair that went to the her mid back she was very fit and wore a tank top with tight skinny jeans. she had blue eyes. Her hand was touching Jeremiah's he wasn't pushing away..."Bitch"..i whispered. She looked early twenties Jeremiah was 23 by know he would be 24...I looked to see what Jordan exspression was, he just stood there doing nothing. Her eyes wouln't leave Jeremiah's she kept checking him out up and down. A pain shot through me i remebered what Jordan had told me he saw Jeremiah kissing another woman in the woods...if that was her. My foot slipped i quickly recovered they didn't notice..except Jeremiah and Jordan were deep in conversation i saw the blond nod and look up straight at me. A gross smile coming across her face. I shot back against the tree the pain coming back..I didn't have the energy to run or even move. I could feel her still starring i didn't move. Hey, Jeremiah. Hmm? he said. Nevermind she said. Okay... he cut her off. Jordan keep searching around these parts throughly and me and Riley will look deeper. Riley was her name...i would remember that. I'm sure she didn't rat me out for a reason. What was up with girls anyway i rolled my eyes. A few more words were spoken than it was silent again. I started to stand i could feel the sun getting brighter my hands didn't tingle or anything...wierd i thought i was suppost to burn. I had to get out of here, i didn't want to face them like this i was to weak i had to get some where where i could train and get healthy..i know I didn't want to go there but i had no choice only one person could help me..

Chapter Nineteen:
When the final bell rang I moved quickly from the foods room to head to the front door where Ethan, Jade, Sam and I agreed to meet before picking up Trevor and Abe to head home. I got out front when I adjusted my bag on my shoulder as I walked over to Sam’s truck when I saw Aaron leaning against my car parked beside a few cars down from Sam’s. I smiled and walked over to Aaron saying “Hey, what are you doing here? Come to pick me up?”
Aaron gave me a sideways grin as he extended his hand to take mine lacing his fingers with me. “Of course darling,” he said softly then leaned down to kiss me hello. I sighed kissing him back before touching his jaw softly. “Miss me?” I teased and he smirked. “You know I did,”
Sam, Ethan, and Jade came over to Aaron and I, Ethan and Jade holding hands while Sam shoved his into his pockets. “Hey Aaron, something wrong?” Sam asked when he got closer. “Nah, was driving by with Mike and thought I might ease the tightness of your cab by stealing Rose.”
“Jade, Ethan, this is Aaron. Aaron, these are the new wolves who moved in a few weeks ago.” I introduced everyone. Aaron shook Ethan’s hand before saying hi to Jade who gave him a big grin. “Always come by to pick your pack up?” Jade asked him and he wrapped his arm around my waist leaning me back onto the hood of my car and somewhat on his lap. “Not always, this pack never used to be mine till two months ago.”
“It’s only been two months?” I asked and Sam nodded yes. “Seems like forever doesn’t it?” he asked and I nodded agreeing. “Well you’re doing a better job then Raph,” Jade said shaking her head. “He’s the biggest out of us all and somehow won in the challenge. Worst Alpha ever,” she explained when we gave her questioning glances. “Is the female any better?” Aaron asked but Ethan shook his head. “Raph’s too much of an ass to have a mate.”
“Well you never know,” I muttered and Sam looked confused. “Aaron wasn’t always as good as he was now, maybe Raph will get better.” I suggested, Aaron pushed me off his legs to look at me. “‘Wasn’t always as good as he was now’?” he quoted raising an eyebrow. “Oh, now you’ve done it. Jade, Ethan lets go before they start.” Sam said stirring our new friends away to their car so we could head back to our place. “Was I really that bad, Rose?” Aaron asked feeling unsure of himself. I regretted saying that but it was true. Aaron has changed a lot since becoming Alpha. I reached out and gave his hands a squeeze. “You’ve grown up, love. You have changed when you got this title. Yes you’re still an idiot but you’re my idiot and I’m proud to call you mine, even if idiot follows after it.” I said and he smirked. “Even when you say something your not supposed to you word it to sound so good,”
I let his hands go to ruffle his hair and leaned over to kiss him. “Idiot,”
“You love me,” Aaron teased standing up from leaning against the hood then pressed my keys into my hands. “Assuming you want to drive and all,” he told me and I nodded before heading to the driver’s side and getting in. “So, how was your first day back?” Aaron asked me when I pulled out of the parking spot and followed Sam’s pick up. “I’m going to talk to Eve about homeschooling grade twelve. I was thinking during my foods block what would happen if I did my grade twelve on the side with homeschooling while I was still in grade eleven? I can get out easier, sure my nights will be pretty packed with school work but then I can go to university with Sam and you.”
“Are you sure you want to put that much of a work load on yourself, darling?” Aaron asked me and I nodded yes. “It’s worth missing an extra year here in this hell hole. Besides, then I get out and into the real world with all of you guys. I can actually be reliable now.”
“You’re reliable, Rose.”
“Not really, I still have to go to school don’t I?”
Aaron smiled before resting his hand on my knee. “Talk to Eve about this but if this is something you want I’ll stand behind you with it.”
“Thank you, Aaron.”
He gave my knee a squeeze before saying “It’s nothing, darling.”
On our way back home we stopped to pick up Abe and Trevor then found ourselves parked outside of the house. Jade came out of her car with Ethan and looked around at the house. “It’s so old, I love it!”
“Yeah, it’s a piece of work for sure.” Sam said linking his arm with me till he felt Aaron’s hand by my waist and let go. Abe replaced him as Trevor walked in front of us all and into the house. “So, how was school?” he asked pealing Aaron’s hand off me. Aaron laughed before ruffling up Abe’s hair and walked with Sam. I wrapped my arm around Abe’s shoulders. “Good enough, how about you?”
“Would you run me over? I hate this school so much,”
I gave him a squeeze. “I think Izzy would run me over after I ran you over.” I admitted and Abe sighed before slipping out from my arm. “You’re no help, Rose.” He muttered but I kissed his cheek. “You’ll live Abe, imagine how happy your mom will be when you graduate.” I told him and he smirked before nodding. I watched him as he ran off inside, Jade came up to me with Ethan holding her hand. “It’s like your son,” She said and I nodded. “He lost his mother in the fire that killed about half of our pack two years ago. Izzy took him in but she had Trevor to deal with so he kind of came to me since I was the other girl around. Eve was still Alpha female at the time but she was… depressed about losing my father.”
“Alpha blood runs through your veins?” Ethan asked and I nodded opening the door for them. Sam was in front with Aaron who flashed me a grin as they walked to the kitchen. “Yeah, it must be a family thing. My grandfather was Alpha too,” I said as we went down the hall and into the empty kitchen. Aaron was reading a note as Jade, Ethan and Sam got settled in. I went over to him and read over his shoulder. “‘Gone out for groceries. Be back whenever, Eve.’” I read and Aaron put it down in the recycling box then pulled up a chair. “So what brings you two here to Dullsville?” Aaron asked and I smiled. I used Dullsville around him once and I guess it stayed. “Dullsville?” Ethan repeated and I smiled more. “My term for the town,” I explained and they smiled. “That’s a great name,” Jade said and Sam nodded yes. “Anyway, Raph had gotten us kicked out of our old place so we moved here.”
“What he do?” Sam asked and Jade shrugged. “I don’t know,”
“I do. He picked a fight with the wrong pack and won the dirty way, ended up killing off two of the members. Both female so you can see where that’s going,” Ethan said and I shook my head. “Okay, I take back what I said before. That’s just horrible.”
“What’s so big on girls?” Abe asked overhearing the tail end of Ethan’s comment. I patted the seat beside me but he shook his head. “Just wondering, I heard only a bit when I came down the hall.”
“It’s wrong to kill off any member of the pack, Abe.” Aaron said and he looked over at me then cocked his head to the side. “When you don’t have to,” I clarified and he nodded once. I had told him what Blake did to the wolves who kidnapped me one night when I was still recovering. I also told him about the people I killed who were apart of that pack so that’s why he gave me that look. “So he got kicked out for killing some girls?”
“Well, it’s wrong especially to kill girls.” Jade said and Abe looked at her wanting her to explain more. “Why? They’re not weaker then guys. Ask Rose,”
“How about I tell you later Abe, Jade and Ethan can’t stay long and we’re going to talk about running spots.” I suggested and Abe gave me a smirk. “Don’t forget the cove,” he told me before leaving. Jade watched him for a while then looked at me. “He is like your son.”
Aaron nudged his foot with mine. “Through blood or bond, the kids are still ours.”
“What’s the cove about?” Ethan asked and Sam went into describing the cove. I listened to him describing it when subconsciously my hand took Aaron’s on the table, rubbing my thumbs on the back of his palm. We talked about different running spots around the house then around Dullsville when Jade’s cell went off and she looked at the caller ID. She scowled then looked at Ethan not wanting to take it. He took it out of her hands and hit the ignore button. “Sorry to cut this short but it looks like Raph is looking for us,” Ethan explained slipping Jade’s phone back into her purse. “No, it’s not a problem.” Sam said as they got up. “Here, I can show you guys out.” I suggested getting up too. I heard the front door open and Aaron looked up before getting up and left to the hall. “So running tomorrow night?” Jade asked walking over with a huge grin. “Yeah, sounds good.” I agreed and she took Ethan’s hand before we started down the hall, Eve and Aaron were coming by with big paper bags with food in them. I touched Aaron’s upper arm as he passed me, he gave me a sideways smirk then I caught Eve and smiled at her. “How was school, hon?” she asked pausing in the hall. “Good, I’ll tell you more in a second.” I said as I continued down the hall to the door. “So see you in school tomorrow?” Jade asked me and I nodded yes. “Yeah, night you two.”
“Night,” Ethan said then pulled Jade along as they went to their car. I watched them go before shutting the door and walked back to the kitchen where I found Aaron unpacking a brown bag at the kitchen table with Eve putting a can away in the cupboard. I smiled watching Aaron as he moved around Eve putting a box of oatmeal away by the cupboard Eve was using. I leaned against the doorway watching them when Aaron caught me from the corner of his eye and he looked up. “Enjoying yourself, darling?”
“Very,” I teased back and Eve shook her head laughing at us. “So how was school?” She asked me again and I shrugged. “Met Jade and Ethan, they just moved here about two weeks ago. They’re from a small pack not too far from here and we’re running tomorrow night.”
“We are?” Aaron asked and I nodded. “You don’t have to if you don’t want Aaron, I just thought it could be nice to introduce them the neighbourhood.”
“No, I can run. Met anyone else?”
“No, I was just thinking about the school,” I said then walked in perching on the table by Aaron before saying “Eve, can I talk to you about grade twelve?”
“Sure, what’s wrong?”
“Nothing just thinking about it,” I said before she leaned against the counter to listen as I explained my idea. She wasn’t sure about it but once Aaron insured her it was good she agreed.

I was running in front of Aaron tonight, dodging the fallen trees and minding the rocks as I ran. A shot of platinum blonde came beside me trying to keep up with my pace. It was Jade. I could hear Aaron and Ethan behind us, I nudged Jade’s shoulder to the left and we curved left then climbed the trees. The guys followed. I barked at Jade and she jug her paws in the ground to stop her from running so she could look back at me. I gave her a smile before shifting my weight and looked back at Aaron as he ran up and nudged Ethan pointing over at us as we waited. He gave me a wolfy grin before sauntering over bumping my shoulder with his playfully. I rubbed my muzzle against Aaron’s and he growled lightly making me laugh. When I looked over at Jade and Ethan they were curled up with each other, their tails twisting with her platinum blonde head buried in his auburn fur. I looked back at Aaron, his sapphire blue eyes met mine before he licked my jaw and buried his nose in my throat breathing heavily. His breath was warm and inviting. I shifted my head to tuck it under his when his breath was against my shoulders. He barked a low bark in my ear, a wanting bark. I motioned to Jade and Ethan with my head then looked up at Aaron, his eyes held mine before he leaned closer huffing. I bit his ear playfully before Aaron pushed me over pressing his chest on my chest, his legs with mine, and his muzzle against me. I rubbed against Aaron before turning my head over to Jade and Ethan, she was circling him till she leaped on top of him but Ethan rolled over so she too was under him like I was too Aaron. Aaron nudged my jaw with his making me look up at him again, his tongue licked my nose making me smile. Flicking my tail against Aaron he gave me a wolfy grin before twisting his with mine. He growled before nudging my chest and whimpered. He wanted me to change. I looked back at Jade and Ethan, Jade caught my look and looked back at Ethan who nodded and shifted off. Jade rubbed her muzzle against mine as thanks before she and Ethan climbed down the rocks. I looked back at Aaron not amused that he got them to leave but then I could hear them starting to change so I understood why they left. Aaron whimpered again huffing into my chest when I gave in. Wriggling from under him I flicked my tail at Aaron’s face when he caught it in his teeth but I growled a warning growl and he rolled up from lying on his stomach to let my tail go. I bumped my shoulder against his softly and he rested his head on my shoulder like a embrace before letting me go behind the tree and changed. I had just finished changing and was resting on my knees with my head bowed between my shoulders as I leaned on my hands when I felt Aaron’s warm hands slid from my back to cup my breasts, his lips kissing my neck by my throat. “You change fast,” I whispered and he squeezed before whispering “Only around you, darling.”
“Oh? Really?” I teased shifting in his hands so we were facing each other. I crawled onto his lap pushing Aaron onto his back where I pressed my hands and upper body on his chest while twisting his piercing with my tongue. Aaron grabbed the back of my head pulling my full lips onto his kissing him harder then I was before. Separating my legs to either side of his I wiggled until Aaron thrust up to meet me. Moaning deeply into his mouth I started to rise and lower against his hips, pushing him in and out of me starting slow at first but picking up the pace. This was the beginning of a long, but wonderful night.

Chapter 17

I kept my pace going pacing my house..Different emotions went through me as i passed my house what if i never got to see my family again? But i thought that was what i wanted to find Jeremiah..But of course nothing ever goes according to plan. I had limped most of the way from the forest luckily the town wasn't to far from where i was kept. Relief went through me the hospital wasn't to far from here. The sun was starting to shine brighter and brighter i hurried my pace. I needed to get to the hospital, Damnit. After along ten minutes i made it to the hospital there where so many cars everywhere. This was going to be difficult since it was morning but i was desperate and needed someone i could trust. I slid past the sliding my doors the lobby was like any other hospital chairs on the side for waiting a gift shop the the left side and a desk with three computers. Finally i said. There was huge line at all three lines. Shit, i thought. I glanced to the side the elevator was opening a few patients were heading in maybe if i slipped in with them. I quickly headed towards the elevator catching it just before it closed, They looked suprised i gave them a reasurring look that i wasn't harmful. They scooted as far towards the elevator as they could understading i kept my position. I hadn't seen what i looked like since who knows how long. My luck there was mirrors on the side of the elevator. I glanced..I almost fell to the floor, I didn't look human at all i was as white as snow. My eyes were blood shot red. My hair had turned a darker black and gotten a few inches longer. Exsposing my teeth you could see my fangs at the top of my mouth. My skin was flawless i wasn't me i didn't know who i was i looked...Beautiful. I turned to see if i just heard what i thought. The older couple to the side of me the old man was wearing a yellow shirt tucked in with shorts and sandals. He was about six three still fit mid sixties i would say. The woman in the wheelchair her eyes where closed she had a tube she was breathing through she had a hospital gown on. She looked very ill. She has melanoma cancer. My eyes shot towards him. He looked away away for a minute he slowly turned my gaze. She's had it for the last year. She gets worse as the days go on. His grip on the handle grew. She's my wife we have been married for fifty years. It's our anniverseary and we were suppost to spend it in Hawaii. He looked down at the floor. Im sorr..he cut me off Don't be he said it's not your fault it's life it's just the way it is. Before i could answer the elevator opened, he pushed the old woman out. By the way he turned You are Beautiful he said don't forget that. He smiled and walked off. I shifted for a minute. Not sure if i should creeped out or relieved. Shaking the feeling off. I pressed the button two level 4, the elevator opened. The hall was empty except for a few patients roaming around. I looked for the front desk. It was empty. Hello, i said. The lady looked up at me and almost fell out of her chair. I bit my tongue from smiling. Hi, im lacey i'm looking for a Sheadon..Shit i forget his last name. Look im looking for a guy that got attacked a few nights ago. By a creature im sure people are talking about here i was wondering his that guy stilll here? After a few moments of starring at me the woman finally answered Yes i believe so. Let me check. She left her desk. After a few minutes she was back. She wouldn't look me in the eye..Yes, that patient you were looking for is here he is down the hall at the room to the right. Room 615. Thanks i said coldly. not caring of her reaction i jetted down the hall not caring if i got in trouble.

There where four rooms together in a circle, 613, 614, ah 615. Bingo. The door was closed i lightly opened it. There was no one in the room except for A body on the bed. Of course was Sheadon. I moved closer his face was banged up he had scars all over his forehead his hair was all messy. He turned his head to see who was there. Lacey? he whispered. I smiled Hi Sheadon yes it's me. Are you okay? I moved closer i practically laying on him. He smiled, im glad your okay i was worried about you, i didn't see you after you i left you at the party. It's okay i said im fine. You look different he said, not realizing it his hand touched my face he caressed my cheek i could feel the softness of his hand outlining my skin. The smell of him overpowered me i hadn't had that problem until now...He smelt so good..i controlled myself holding myself back. i couldn't hurt him i wouldn't he was the only hope i had left...He retreated his hand embaresed. Im sorry...It's okay i smiled cutting him off. Where have you been? and Where is Jordan? You look so different almost not...You might want to relax..I have alot to tell you Sheadon. I held his hand tighter. This was going to be alot harder than i thought.

“Rose, come downstairs.” I heard Aaron nagging me from the stairs leading to our room. I rolled my eyes and ignored him. I was sitting on the bed surrounded by my textbooks and notepads trying to finish this final exam I have for my English twelve class I’ve been working on. It was December now, the snow was falling from the sky in buckets, the temperatures had dropped below freezing, the house was always cold no matter how many shirts and pants you wear, and it was dark. “Are you ignoring me?” he asked and I smirked. “Yes,” I called back to him. I heard him chuckle before he said “Well, if you won’t come down I can come up.”
“Not if I lock the door.” I warned him scribing an answer quickly into the box given. “You wouldn’t?”
“Yes, I would.” I muttered tuning him out and finished writing quickly. It was silent for a minute or two before I heard someone coming up the stairs but the rhythm was off like it was more then one person. Looking up from my paper in just enough time the door flew open and it was like I was under attack by men. Abe and Trevor ran in grabbing all my books and notes before running off while Sam and Aaron grabbed me. “Hey! Aaron! Put me down!” I protested as he picked me up and put me in a fireman’s carry, Sam rolled his eyes and stuck the paper bag over my head as a joke. I sighed and relaxed against Aaron’s back lifting my hand to hold my head up with my elbow in his back. Sam laughed. “That look’s amazing Rose,” he told me and I flipped him off. “I was studying, put me back down.” I muttered tearing the bag off my head then crumbled it up and threw it at Sam hitting him in the chest. “Not yet, darling. You actually have to be with us tonight. You were studying last night anyway, tonight you get off.” Aaron said as we went down the stairs. “Why?” I complained and Sam rolled his eyes at me. “It’s Christmas Rose,”
“Really? Already?”
“Yeah, no more studying for you.” Aaron said tapping my thigh, I growled at him and he laughed before giving it a squeeze. “Can I come down now?” I asked him as we went down another flight of stairs. “No,” Sam and Aaron said together. I sighed very dramatically before running my hands through my hair which I have been raking like this for hours. I could smell Eve’s hot chocolate and coffee coming from the living room as we walked closer, the smells of her Christmas cake, muffins, squares and other very sugary but so good treats she makes around this time of year. I heard them all laughing when we got closer, Tim was telling some sort of joke. “Hey, look who came down from her cave.” He teased me and I laughed sarcastically “Yeah, yeah.”
Aaron put me down carefully and looked down at me once I was on the ground. I glared up at him but he smirked and kissed my forehead. “You won’t stay mad at me long,”
“Says who?”
“Says me. Come on, darling, enjoy yourself for once.”
I rolled my eyes before picking up a blanket and plunking myself on the ground leaning against the arm of the sofa. Everyone was pretty much the same way, lounging on the floor with their blankets, drinks and food as the Christmas tree glowed by the large window. I saw Jade and Ethan across the room in the large chair curled up with each other and in blankets, I gave them a warm smile which they returned. Aaron took the blanket away before picking me up slightly so I was sitting on his lap when he wrapped the blanket around himself and me. I smiled leaning back into him for the warmth when Aaron kissed my temple lightly. Tim, who was splitting a blanket with Eve, handed me a coffee mug filled with Eve’s hot chocolate I’ve been drinking for as long as I can remember. I thanked him before taking a sip and holding the mug tightly in my hands and chest to warm me. “Well now that everyone is here,” Tim started then looked at me, I stuck out my tongue at him and he laughed. “Is it time to open stuff?” Abe asked and Tim nodded before Izzy got up from her spot on the couch and went to the tree. We all took turns going from youngest to oldest, including Jade and Ethan, with opening our gifts. They were small things but it was one gift from everyone making it even more special. It was funny though, on the card I had my name but the ‘from’ was ‘from Santa’ though all the writing was different. I could tell when ‘Santa’ was played by Trevor or Abe, Izzy or Tim, Eve or Sam, Jade or Ethan, and of course Aaron but he just wrote ‘from Aaron’ making it obvious. I was opening Aaron’s gift when I pulled out a jersey black nightgown. It was folded so when I opened it I found it was a V-neck line that had ribbon crossing between each breast like a gather letting the rest of the gown fall from there. When I saw the hem I laughed. It had little ribbon roses every few inches. It was a good evening, the air in the room was warm and festive, the mood light and foolish from the inside joke gifts many of us got, we were singing terribly to Christmas song no one really knew the right way since Derek and Blake knew so many parodies. I was getting up for more hot chocolate when someone knocked heavily on the door. I must have been the only one who heard it because Tim was still going on about what had happened to a buddy from work a couple of days ago as I went to the front door. When I unlocked it then pulled the door open the cold snapped at me. Some snowflakes hit my cheeks as the man stood there. He was a few inches taller then me, his skin pale like the snow around him, he was dressed in a all black jacket, jeans and heavy snow boots. He had large black mittens and a black scarf but not hat. His hair was bleach blonde and his eyes copper. “Um, hi. Can I help you?” I asked him and he nodded. “My name is Raph, I need Jade and Ethan.” He said, his voice dark and demanding. “Um, sure. Come on in while I grab them.” I suggested stepping back to let him in. Raph hesitated then walked inside. I shut the door as he stood on the mat before I left him to come back to the living room. I walked over the torn wrapping paper and scattered gifts to Jade and Ethan. “Hey Rose,” Ethan said and Jade swallowed her hot chocolate “Thanks again for inviting us,”
“Yeah, it wasn’t a problem,”
“So what brings you over to our arm chair while Aaron is sitting alone?” Ethan teased me and I rolled my eyes before raking my fingers through my hair again. “Someone knocked on the door a second ago, it’s Raph.” I began but saw Jade cringe but Ethan held her closer. “He ‘needs’ you guys, I’m sorry.”
“No, it’s not your fault.” Ethan insured me as Jade started to get up to leave. “Did he say what he wanted?” Jade whined clearly not wanting to leave. “No, just that he needs you.”
Jade looked back at Ethan who raised an eyebrow in his way which made her smile. “Thank you Rose,” Ethan said and I smiled before helping them gather their things and carried them to the door as Ethan went to grab both Jade’s hand his own jackets from the kitchen. Jade stood by my side subconsciously as Raph looked down at her with a vile look. I was hesitant about him. I watched as she clamped her hand on her other arm behind her back and Jade’s gaze was down at her feet. I looked back down the hall at Ethan when he came back then placed Jade’s jacket on her shoulders kissing her cheek to try to make her feel better. Raph growled, or at least I think that was what that sound was. I shifted uncomfortably onto one leg before saying “Thanks for letting us take them. The pack really enjoys having Ethan and Jade over,” I said to Raph trying to be nice but he glared at them before me. “I was never told their whereabouts.”
“I spoke to Dustin,” Jade said meekly, Raph gave her that growl sound again. “Dustin is not your Alpha, Jade.” He barked through his teeth and she flinched. I saw Ethan glare at Raph as he put his arm around Jade in a protective way trying to put himself in between her and Raph. “Come on Raph, it was just a misunderstanding.” Ethan said lowly not to attract attention. “Get outside.” Raph barked again and Jade nodded quickly clearly afraid before pushing against Ethan’s back to leave. Raph jut glared at me one more time before pulling the door open and left slamming it behind him. I winced from the sound but listened as I heard a muffled voice shouting orders while another commented and the last, obviously Jade, gave little squeaks here and there. “What are you doing, darling?” Aaron asked coming up from behind, his hands taking my upper arms as if to steer me back to the living room but I heard a distinctive shout coming from Jade. “Ethan! Raph stop it!”
“I’ll be right back Aaron,” I said escaping his arms and quickly pulled on the closest pair of boots, Eve’s, then jacket, Aaron’s, before yanking the door. I grabbed either side of Aaron’s jacket pulling it closer to me as I wrapped myself in it because I didn’t do it up as I walked out into the darkness but could hear Jade’s pleas for Raph to stop. I could also hear grunting and the sound of frozen flesh hitting not so frozen flesh. Raph was beating on Ethan. I ran over to them to find Jade hitting Raph’s back trying to get him to stop but he just shoved her and she fell into the snow with great force before Raph went back to beat on Ethan who tried to get past him to Jade. “Hey!” I shouted but it didn’t even get through to Raph. “Hey Raph!” I shouted again but he kept wailing on Ethan. I got close enough that I grabbed his hand and pushed it away from Ethan. Raph spun around about to hit me if I hadn’t ducked and kicked him in the gut causing him to stumble back. Ethan rushed to Jade making sure she was okay and I stood in front of them to keep Raph away. “What the fuck are you doing? They are your pack, Raph. You don’t just beat on them for telling another member where they were. It’s not like they were running away or anything. They were at a friends for Christmas.” I snarled at him as he regained his balance. “What the fuck are you doing is the better question,” Raph spat then whipped his jaw with the back of his hand. “This is my pack and I can do whatever I want to them.”
“Not when I’m around you can’t.” I told him before turning to Ethan looking over his blood nose and cut lip as he helped Jade back to her feet. “Go inside and get Aaron to look at you two. You’re staying here tonight,” I told them touching Jade’s forearm as she steadied herself against Ethan. “You can’t do that!” Raph shouted going to lunge at me but my foot was quicker and I knocked him in the face kicking him back to the ground. “Go now Ethan,” I said as Raph was down. “Thank you,” he said quickly before ushering Jade back inside. “Who do you think you are, little girl?” Raph growled whipping the blood off his mouth. “I know who I am but who are you, Raph? An Alpha never beats another member of the pack. It’s not right.”
“Since when do you know so much about being Alpha? What are you? Twelve?”
I laughed harshly before bending down to meet his eyes with a cold glare. “Listen to me you fucked up bastard. My name is Rosalyn, my father was Derek, the Alpha male, and my mother Eve, the Alpha female. For the past six months Aaron, my mate, and I have been Alpha and you,” I paused to stab his chest with my finger. “You are a sad excuse for an Alpha.” I said before turning on my heal to leave but I paused in the middle of the space between Raph and the house. “By the way Raph,” I said turning back to see him getting up slowly. “What bitch?” he snapped back at him and I flashed him a grin. “Merry Christmas,”
He shouted a tone of swears to me and threats as I went back inside the house. I kicked off Eve’s boots and wriggled out of Aaron’s jacket before brushing the snow out of my hair and blowing on my hands to keep them warm. I did a quick glance in the living room where Eve and Tim where going on about some funny incident they had at he grocery store as I went down the hall further to the kitchen where I found Aaron looking over Jade who sat on the kitchen counter with Ethan holding a bloodied cloth to a gash across his cheek. I touched Aaron between his shoulder blades and he gasped “Holy crap your hands are cold!”
“How are you two?” I asked ignoring Aaron and Ethan gave a weak smile. “Beaten but not down,”
“Easy for you to say,” Jade muttered holding the back of her head and winced. “Here, take two of these.” Aaron said handing her the bottle of Tylenol which she took out of his hand before sliding off the counter to fetch a water glass. “So what happened?” Ethan asked when Aaron moved to him. “What do you mean?” I asked watching them as I blew on my hands a couple of times. “I mean what happened with Raph?”
“Nothing really, we were just spitting swears and insults to each other mostly.”
“And what about us?” Jade asked putting her glass away and returned the bottle back into the first aid Aaron dragged out. “You are staying here away from him.”
“Rose, we don’t want to intrude more then we do.” Ethan said and I gave him a smile. “You guys are over here all the time, so what if you actually live here? It’ll be easy for all of us,”
“It’s not a problem,” Aaron insured them and Jade smiled before hugging me tightly. “Thank you,”
I hugged her back “No problem,”
Jade smiled at me before looking back at Ethan and lost her smile seeing his injures. “I’m fine,” Ethan insured her extending his hand which she took and squeezed it. “I’m sorry for getting in the way,” she whispered but he pulled her against him giving her a one arm hug as Aaron finished cleaning the gash. “You didn’t get in the way Jade,” Ethan tried to convince her but she shook her head and buried her face in his shoulder. Ethan sighed then rubbed his hand up and down her back worried about her when Aaron finished up. “She’s going to be out of it for a couple of hours just to let you know. Raph pushed her down on ice not snow which she hit her head on.” Aaron warned Ethan with a whisper, he nodded then looked down at Jade. “Thank you,” he said again looking back between Aaron and I. I smiled then said “There’s a room right across the stairs you two can use. Maybe turning in early would be smart,” I suggested then motioned to Jade with a nod. “Come on Jade, let’s get you to bed.” Ethan said and she nodded slowly before sighing. Aaron and I watched them go up to Victor’s old room till we were left alone. “What’s really going on, darling? With Raph I mean,” Aaron asked as he packed up the first aid and tucked it back into the cupboard. I shrugged my shoulders. “I don’t know. He threatened us but I don’t know if they were just words or promises.” I admitted looking up at him. Aaron stepped closer and hugged me tightly making sure I was okay. “You did the right thing, darling. Keeping your friends safe was the right choice to make.”
“But now we have a crazy lunatic running around wanting revenge for me beating him up.”
“You beat him up?” He asked pulling me at arms length to look at me fully. “Well, he was going to wail on me next so I defended myself.” I explained and Aaron smiled before sweeping me in his arms with a kiss that left me gasping. “I love a bad ass,”
“Gee thanks Aaron,” I muttered making him smile more. He took my hands as if to lead me back to the living room when he gasped again. “You’re freezing,” he told me pulling my hands to his lips as he blew on them trying to warm them. “It’s cold outside,” I admitted and Aaron gave me a look. “Go upstairs and have a warm shower Rose, it’ll help.”
“That’s not necessary Aaron, I can just wrap up in blankets and be fine.” I protested but he gave me a worried look before bending to my ear whispering “But I don’t want you to get sick, Rose. Would you do this for me? Easy my paranoia?”
I gave him a nod before squeezing his hands and letting go. I watched as Aaron started to head back to the living room when I thought of something. “Aaron,” I called out to him and he turned around. “Hmm?” he asked and I walked up to him grabbing the back of his neck to pull his ear down to my lips as my other hand pulled at his butt to bring him closer. “There’s another way to keep me warm,” I whispered biting his ear lobe then grinded my hips against his. I felt him get hard through our jeans. His cheek brushed against mine as he bit his bottom lip debating how to answer, I breathed in his ear “You know, I can always wear that nightgown you bought me,”
He swallowed hard.
He remembered the nightgown I was talking about.
It was the first real piece of lingerie I own besides the bras and thongs. Aaron had bought it because it was blood red like the roses we get in the summer, a v-neck style that stopped at the bottom of my sternum, built in push up bra which was oddly comfortable, and soft satin hugging my body to about the tops of my thighs just long enough to cover my butt. “You wouldn’t,” he breathed back and I gave him my sexy grin. “Come upstairs and find out, wolf boy.” I teased before letting him go and walked away. I didn’t saw anything after that let alone look at him, I just simply walked up the stairs to our room and shut the door. Hastily I stripped down naked then pulled out the box from under my dresser where I slipped into it, the satin still hugged me even after my weight lose I still hadn’t gained back. I brushed the snow out of my hair then shoved my clothes into the laundry basket. I adjusted the bra slightly which pushed up my breasts more, Aaron was going to kill himself over this. I walked over to the window and sat on the ledge looking out into the night when I heard someone coming up the stairs. Slowly they opened the door, closed it then sat on the bed. When I turned I saw Aaron sitting there with his hands clasped by his knees. “No, I promised not to have sex with you all the time Rose. I don’t want to hurt you more then they have,” he whispered trying to convince himself more then anything else. He wouldn’t even look at me worried he’d be too tempted. I watched him as he yanked off his shirt and tore his jeans off before settling into bed with his back to me completely naked besides his socks. “Fine by me, I can just have that shower.” I said getting up then walked over to kiss his cheek. “Good night, Aaron.” I murmured breathing in his ear again, his jaw set. I smiled. I walked to the bathroom where I turned on the light but left it on to find a towel. Coming back I stood by the sink where in the mirror I saw Aaron watching me, his eyes clouded with lust. I tried to not see him in the mirror and act like he wasn’t watching me but maybe I pulled this off too well. Slowly I pulled one strap off my shoulder then the next, Aaron’s tongue went over his teeth and lips. Next I pulled the bra down just as slow letting him get a good view of my breasts, he mouthed “You wouldn’t dare,” but I pretended not to see it. Lastly I wriggled out of it letting the fabric slid off my hips slowly, Aaron moaned. “She did,” he mouthed but I wasn’t done yet. Slowly the satin went down my legs and gathered on the floor by my feet, I stepped out of it but stepped into Aaron’s chest. Looking into the mirror I saw him standing behind me with the same clouded look from the lust in his eyes, I turned slowly to face him looking up to his face growling in a low, sexy, growl “Have I seduced you, Aaron?”
He growled back at me pulling me up and into him as his lips came down on mine, hard. His hands grabbing my hips and waist pulling my chest onto his with my legs wrapping around his hips, his erection brushed against me. I growled back at him which sent him wild when he pushed me into the door way pressing by back into the door with his chest pressed against my front. His hands kneading me but I pushing him away. Once I was back on two legs Aaron was leaned against the other side of the small door frame only inches away from my body gasping for breath. I leaned over and kissed his cheek. “Good night Aaron,” I whispered walking back to the bed as if I were done but I knew what would happen. Aaron followed behind me. I managed to crawl into bed and tuck myself in before he pulled the blankets off me and growled. I rolled from my side to my back looking up at him with the same sexy grin. “Do you really want this?” I whispered parting my legs letting him see me again, he took a deep breath “So. Fucking. Bad.”
“Well, what’s stopping you?” I asked him and it was like he snapped. Suddenly he was on top of me, pinning down my hands by my head to keep them away from my legs where they were as he plunged into me, hard. His heart pounding in his chest when he pressed against me thrusting deep, hard, thrust with his mouth on mine kissing me the same way. I hollowed a muffled hollow into Aaron, he returned with a moan deep in his throat. Breathing quickly between kisses I thrust my hips to Aaron’s as he did with me deepening him inside me, I gasped. Aaron moaned leaving my lips to let me breathe when he started to bite my ear lobe, gently pulling at his despite how strong he was thrusting to me. I tilted my head slightly, brushing a kiss against his throat before licking him softly almost tasting his cologne. Aaron growled then sought out my lips kissing me with more passion and hunger then he every has, I couldn’t breathe. It was like he was feeding off me, taking my breath, feeling my lips, my tongue, like he was tasting me, taking me it, it was just so… wonderful.

It was early in the morning but everything was dark. I think the clock said two A.M but I wasn’t too sure. I lay on my stomach, my arms wrapped around Aaron’s pillow with the sheets tangled everywhere around me, Aaron lay beside me but on me at the same time. His legs were off me, he had one between both of mine with his hips leaned against the back of my thighs. His head rested between my shoulders, his arms around my breasts and chest like how I was holding his pillow. How we got here I can’t remember but it was peaceful. “Darling, you still awake?” Aaron whispered and I smiled. “Yes,” I whispered back and felt his lips curl into a smile. “Do you think we’ll fall asleep?” Aaron asked me and I tried to shrug my shoulders without disturbing him. “I honestly can’t say, love.”
“Am I hurting you?”
“No, Aaron. I’m fine.”
“You sure? Your shoulder twitches sometimes.”
“Just a nerve from being grazed so closely.”
Aaron shifted slightly pushing his upper body up and off me when I felt his fingers brushing against my scars. I rolled over onto my back still under him when I looked up at Aaron then brushed his hair out of his eyes. Aaron lowered his lips to mine kissing me softly, his lips barely touching mine but I winced. He pulled away afraid he had truly hurt me but I took his hand by my stomach “They’re just raw, I’m fine.”
Aaron gave me a faint smile brushing his lips across my forehead. Coming back to look at me I lifted my hand to push his hair away from his eyes again, Aaron did the same to me making me smile. Aaron had rolled over so we were tangled together like spooning. I felt his breath on my shoulder when he pulled me closer to his chest, my back pressing against him. I linked my fingers with his before bringing them to my lips kissing his knuckles softly, Aaron murmured something but it was too low for me to hear. “Aaron,” I whispered and he kissed my neck murmuring “Hmm?”
I rolled over in his arms so we were face to face, actually his nose bumped mine when I turned. He growled quietly but I kissed his nose. “Hush,”
He huffed before nodding. “Fine,” I smiled then lifted my hand to run over his face feeling everything about him, every bump, every shape, every line and muscle, every smirk, the softness of his skin, the heat of his breath, the smoothness of his piercing, and his lips. Aaron had rolled on his back with me on my elbows examining his face, he watched me as I watched him. His hands held my back keeping me against him when I fingered his hair. “I only have a handful of tests left, you know.”
“I do know,”
“What’s going to happen when I’m done?” I asked him and he shrugged his shoulders. “I don’t know, darling. Whatever is thrown at us I guess.”
I leaned over to kiss his forehead, Aaron kissed my chest before letting me curl back up with him. My eyes slowly closing around his body, still feeling him touching me but everything was getting darker as sleep finally took me.

Within the next week we had moved Jade and Ethan into Victor’s old room, they were uneasy about this at first but once everyone opened up with them they seemed pretty happy with us. School started back up again from winter break and my homeschooling was almost over by the time April came around.

The stars reflected back to my room, it was nearly 1:00am and i couldn't sleep i sat up right in my bed, i always loved the reflection the stars made knowing that i could never touch them it was nice to know that they were there i wish a shooting star would pass so i could get my wish..it was pretty stupid i wished that a mythical creature would fall in love with me..i know stupid right? But hey a girl can dream. I dreaded going to school tomorrow on a monday they shouldn't even exist. I rolled my eyes. I looked out my window and could see across there was the swamp not to far from my house where me and my friends hung out. That's an idea i thought i quickly texted my friend. Hey, meet me at the swamp in ten minutes. To my suprise she relpied. "Okay." I quickly changed my outfit getting in something alittle more comfartable i let my hair down i feel along my back it was long maybe almost to long i brushed my hand thorugh my hair taking out any knots. I had pail white skin pitch black hair, and green eyes. People thought i was Beautiful i had guys that chased after me, known of them caught my attention i still waited i knew my perfect mythical guy would come. I opened my window and hoped out the walk there didn't take long. The swamp was all moldy and wet well i didn't expect any different. Clarissa? I heard my name. Hello i whispered Dork it's me My heart leaped when Kayla walked by i thought you where something else. Don't worry im not going to hurt you she teased. What's bothering you you only ask me to come here when something is on your mind. I couldn't sleep i said that's all. Whatever she said. We continued to talk what felt like forever. The time passed we drifted off to sleep. ~

I was so hungry I could barely keep my balance all this tracking and searching for Lacey i barely had enought energy to move. Lacey the thought of her kept racing back in my head i loved her so much it hurt to think about her i didn't know where she was and worried about her non stop i wouldn't stop i would look for her until the ends of the earth, the feel of her black hair those eyes one look into them and you are seducted the touch of her, i stopped myself. The woods were dark it was nearly four am any fool out this late would be dumb. I was deep into the woods i was nearly in a different town. I smelt something wierd..Human almost my whole body raced..i hadn't feed on human blood since i was turned i refused too..I fought it off I couldn't get myself to move something inside me stopped i looked to see what was there. Two girl were laying down in a swamp one had blonde hair average i would say the other girl..my breath increased that's what it was she smelt so good...so delciious drool my spilling from my mouth disgusted in myself she was beatiful she had black hair that was longer than Laceys..she was tall and thin. Her smell is what really amused me. She reminded me of lacey. I leaned against a tree branch it snapped shit.~

I popped up Kayla did you hear that? Sleep she mumbled. Another snap kayla popped up. 'What the hell was that?' she barked. I don't know i whispered. We panicked we looked into the woods and saw a figure with blood red eyes we screamed and ran not looking back we ran the swamp was dirty whatever it was i felt it running and chasing after us i pushed harder and ran. I tripped over a rock i didn't see. Ouch, i screeched. Kayla turned Clarissa! My leg was burning on fire. I could hear the creature coming closer..and closer GO! i yelled i'll be okay. Clarri- Move i said! withouth arguing Kayla continued to run until i couldn't see her anymore. Whatever the creature was came closer i'm sure it could smell me. There was big rock in front of me i layed my body flat down maybe if i stayed out of sight it would continue on...I slowed my breathing not even i could hear it. I didn't hear anything maybe it left. I moved my arm..I heard screecing and something moving towards me silently. I began to panic whatver it was it had to be a person a bear wouldn't walk so silently and slick. I began to sweat...Oh god i thought. I felt something on the rock something was looking down at me the eyes on it were pitch red i kept my breathing whatever it was smelt so good...The figure moved closer It was a person...The reflection of the wind showed on...Him he had dark brown hair it was fairly long his hair covered his eyes which where red...he was tall and muscular he was very handsome. His teeth bared fangs showed...Oh my god. He was a vampire! "Vampire" i whispered. His hands were so close to face i leaned in farther into my body i was so scared he looked so hungry and out of control His hand caressed my arm and moved to my face he layered my face moving down to my lips. He moved my chin exposing my kneck his eyes brightned. He looked pleased. 'Please'..i whispher don't.. He looked at me he looked like somthing else was inside him controllling him i didn't know him but he didn't seem normal. 'I'm so sorry, he said that was the last thing i heard.' His fangs bit into my kneck he didn't stop it stinged i screamed and screamed i knew no one could hear me my life was slowly being taken away from me i was slowly loosing feeling of my feet, arms face, fingers, my eyes were starting to blur the last thing i saw he retreated he had clear blue eyes they were so beautiful tears rolled down his eyes, i had forgived him. My closed for the rest of eternity. ~

Oh wow. That was very epic. I have to say I really liked the little blip, it was very cool. Do you think you might continue that section later on in the story?

It was a Saturday afternoon, I was in my room looking over the final I just finished writing when Aaron opened the door abruptly. “Rose, we have a situation.” He said still clutching the handle to the door. I looked up and saw the fear in his eyes, something was completely wrong. I pushed my papers away before getting off the bed “Aaron? What’s wrong?” I asked once I was facing him, my hand caressing his jaw searching to comfort him. “I don’t know what to do,” he whispered and I pulled him in hugging his waist, Aaron rested his head on mine. “Tell me what’s wrong, love.”
“Downstairs there’s a girl, a human, who is clamming to know both you and Jade. She knows about who we are and what we can do which is why she came here.” He paused to look down at me, his forehead on my forehead. “Rose, this girl had clammed Raph kidnapped her from her home and took her back to his place where he…” He said trying not to open old wounds. I felt a ache in my chest remembering what that was like. “Downstairs right?” I clarified and Aaron nodded yes. “Let me talk with her and we’ll figure something out.” I told him before letting go but I squeezed his hand once and pecked him on the lips. I headed downstairs quickly, not a run but a fast walk. Soon I was in the living room where I found Eve, Izzy, Jade, and the girl sitting around. I came further into the room when I actually got a good look at the girl She had strawberry blonde hair pulled back into a messy ponytail, her skin as white as a ghost’s, her big blue eyes full with tears that stained her cheeks, her bottom lip quivering with fear he’ll come back as she curled up into a ball on the sofa with Jade beside her. I recognized the girl as Zoe from my English class but she’s been missing her classes for a few months now. My gut twisted.
A few months now, I haven’t actually seen her since January. The son of a bitch. He took her around January.
Her eyes darted around the room like she was scanning it for Raph when they lay on me. I walked slowly over to the coffee table with Zoe watching me till I sat down in front of her. I reached out to touch her hand wrapping around her knee. “Zoe, tell me what happened.” I said speaking as softly as I could. She shook her head wildly whispering “No,” as she sniffed. “No, I can’t say it again.” She went on still shaking her head and looking around the room. “Too much, too much, too much,” she said over and over again still shaking. Clearly she’s traumatized. “Zoe,” I said again uncurling her hand from her knee, she stopped shaking to look at it before tightening her grip around my fingers like a small child would. “Zoe, I need you to tell me what happened if I’m going to help you.” I told her and she looked around but it was at the women inside. “Not around them,” she whispered to me holding my gaze only for a moment before looking around the room some more. I sighed then looked over at Jade who nodded and got up to leave. When I turned Eve looked between me and Zoe but I mouthed to her “Listen in the hall, she’s too traumatized to tell us all.” Eve nodded taking Izzy with her so it was just Zoe and I. “See? All better, will you tell me what happened? Where we were and what you remember?” I asked and she clasped my hand tighter before nodding. “I was just going home, it was kind of dark because me and Quinn Thomson were, well, messing around in his car. I was walking though ‘cause I park my car about a block away from the school so I can avoid the stupid parking lot when everything went black.” She paused to sniff, I rubbed my other hand over hers that clutched mine still. “And when I woke up he was there… doing nasty things to me,” another pause, another sniff. “I didn’t know what day it was till he let me go this morning, I’ve been walking for a long time now. I remember Jade telling me about him, how evil he was and how you and Aaron were so much better so I came here looking for you,” she took a deep breath in before giggling hysterically. “You know, the being kidnapped for about three or four months doesn’t really bother me too much,” she told me and I was confused. “What does then Zoe?” I asked her and she gave me a weak smile before whispering in a low voice “I’m late,”
My gut twisted more.
I could remember being worried that Jeremy had gotten me pregnant for a long time until my period came and I was fine but it was the worst couple of weeks in my life. I guess my expression gave away my memories because Zoe uncurled her legs from her chest and lifted her baggy band shirt she was wearing. Her pale skin was a distinctive bump under her shirt. “Please, you have to help me. I’m only seventeen.” She whispered, tears streaming from her eyes landing on our hands. “Alright, do you trust me?” I asked her and she nodded yes. “I know a very good man who can help you with this,” I said motioning to her abdomen. “He’s a well trained doctor and I trust him.”
Zoe didn’t like the idea of a man touching her again but I squeezed her hand. “Mike is a good guy Zoe, he helped me when I came back after been taken too.”
“You were pregnant too?”
“I was only taken for a week, no I wasn’t pregnant. Shot a couple of times, bound and raped but not pregnant. Trust me Zoe, Mike can help you. He’s very gentle and will take good care of you.”
She hesitated before looking back down at her abdomen and covered it back up. “Okay,” she said then sniffed trying to whip her eyes. “I’m going to get Jade and she’s going to stay with you while I call him okay?” I asked Zoe and she nodded slowly letting my hand go. I got up and went into the hall were I told Jade to stay with her while I searched for the phone. It was in the kitchen were I found all the men sitting in wait. “What’s going on?” Sam asked me when I grabbed the phone. I looked at Abe and Trevor not sure if I say it in front of them or not but Tim motioned it’ll be fine. “Raph kidnapped her a while ago in January before letting her go this morning,” I said quietly. “No fucking way,” Sam said then got a slap from Tim. “Mind your mouth, Samuel.”
Aaron got up and stood by me searching my eyes. “That’s not all, is it Rose?” he whispered and I blinked. He got it in a heart beat. “How far?” he whispered too low for the others to hear. I mouthed “Seventeen weeks,”
“Come on Sam, let’s pay Raph a visit.” He said about to go through the back door when I caught his hand. “Be careful Aaron, I want you two coming home in one piece.” I told him and he turned around to kiss me good bye. “Promise you, darling. We’ll be fine.”
“Is there room for one more?” Ethan asked and Sam put his arm around his shoulders. “Sure, why not.”
I watched as the left leaving Tim and the kids with me in the kitchen. The bad feeling in my gut grew more. I didn’t like where this was going at all. “Aaron’s a good fighter Rose, I’m sure he’ll be fine.” Tim insured me and I mumbled a reply but I don’t remember my words. I called Mike’s number and he answered on the second ring. “Hello Aaron,” he sighed and I laughed. “He calls you way too much, Mike. No, it’s Rose this time.” I told him and he laughed before saying “It’s good to hear from you Rose, what can I do you for?”
I told him about Zoe and about what Raph did to her, he listen patiently until I was done when he said “Bring her over, I don’t mind helping.”
“Thank you so much Mike, but a warning. She’s still kind of…”
“Traumatized?” Mike filled in the word and I mumbled a yes. “I’ll take good care of her Rose, don’t worry. It’s Zoe right?”
“Yes,”
“I’ll set up, the key is just under the ledge with the mail box if I don’t answer.” He told me and I thanked him before signing off. I hung up the phone then started to head out back to the living room where I found Zoe still shaking with Jade trying to talk her down. “He says he’s able to help you Zoe,” I told her sitting back in my spot, her blue eyes came from staring at the wall to me. “Right now?”
“Well we have to drive to his place but yes, now.”
“Thank you,” she whispered leaning over and hugging me tightly. I was caught off guard but I hugged her back. “Jade would you get Zoe in a car? I need to talk with Eve for a moment.”
“Sure,” she said then took Zoe’s forearm helping her to her feet. “Come on Zoe, it’s almost over.” I heard her say as she lead her outside, I turned to Eve who leaned against the door way. “Will you call me if Aaron get’s back with the others?” I asked her and she nodded yes. “You’re doing the right thing by helping her Rose,”
“Then why do I have this gut twisting feeling?” I asked her and she gave me a faint smile then wrapped me in her arms. “Because you love Aaron and are worried about him.”
“Did you feel this way with dad?” I asked her and she nodded. “All the time, hon.”
I gave her a squeeze before letting go. “You don’t mind holding down the fort for a while do you?”
“Not at all Rose, go and help your friend.”
“I have my cell if something goes wrong.” I told her as I put on beaten up sneakers that seemed to go well with my torn and holey jeans I wore with a tight black shirt. Eve watched me go and I grabbed my keys and found Jade and Zoe in my mini crammed in since it was a twp person car but I have fit three many times. I got in and turned it on when Zoe asked me “How long has is been since you’ve been back?”
“Almost a year,” I told her putting the car in reverse. “So this crazy fear goes away?”
“Yes, it does.”
“I see you with Aaron a lot, how long did it take to get over it?”
“The minute he said my name again.”
“So I can be normal?”
“You are normal, Zoe.” I told her and she laughed harshly. “Rose, don’t bother. I know I’m in bad shape. It’s scary though, I’m scared.”
“Well Mike will fix you up and you’ll be so much better.” Jade insured her and Zoe nodded quietly resting her head on Jade’s shoulder.

By the time Zoe was awake again it was already late. Jade and I had dinner with Mike while we waited even though we were eating in the same room as Zoe was sleeping. I remember waking up in this room after Mike fixed my collapsed lung a long time ago, it still looked the same. Jade helped Mike clear the plates while I stayed with Zoe sitting on the bed with her watching her breath until I saw her eyelashes starting to move. When she opened her eyes her hands went to her abdomen like she was making sure it wasn’t a dream. “It’ll take a while for your body to get back to normal again Zoe,” I said softly and she turned her head to look at me, her eyes for once not darting across the room like a crazy person. “Your eyes,” she whispered reaching out to touch my jaw bring my face closer. “They’re so dark.”
“Zoe, I think it’s time to go back to sleep.” I said taking her hand off me but she looked at me like I was the crazy one. “Something’s troubling you.”
So she’s not as crazy as I thought.
“No, I’m fine.” I told her and she raised an eyebrow at me. “You’re clutching that cell phone.” She pointed out and I looked down at my hand to see my phone bring gripped. I let if go and fall on my lap. “It’s Aaron isn’t it?” she asked me rolling carefully on her side to look at me, I adjusted the blankets to keep her covered in the warmth. “He left to go find him, didn’t he?”
“Aaron, Sam and Ethan did.”
“I’m guessing you haven’t heard a word from them have you?”
I shook my head no then looked back at the phone flipping it open to see if I had missed any calls or texts. None. I swore mentally as I closed it. I was getting paranoid now. When I looked back at Zoe she was already asleep again. I sighed and adjusted the blankets again before getting off the bed to side on the floor leaning my back against the side. Someone touched my shoulder, looking up I found Mike crouching beside me. “We need to bell you,” I told him and he gave me a smile before looking at my hand and saw it was clutching the phone again, his smile faded. “You need to get some air Rose. Go and run, I can watch the phone and tell you if they call.”
“No, I’m fine.”
“You’re knuckles are white.” He pointed out and like before I let the phone go and it landed on my lap again. “I can wait.”
“Rose–”
“I can wait, Mike.” I cut him short and he gave me a quick nod before getting up to look at Zoe. I got up too but it was so walk outside of the room and down the hall to the small balcony Mike had with a small round table and two chairs you’d find beside pools. I lay in one looking up into the starry night with the phone resting on my bottom lip, my other arm behind my head with my legs curled up. It was a new moon tonight, only the stars lit the sky. I listened as the bird flew over me landing in their nest for the night, the wind was soft and warm. I closed my eyes letting the night sound fill me when I felt two hands touching my shoulders. I sighed then muttered “I’m defiantly belling you,” as I opened my eyes but I found Aaron leaning over the top of the chair looking down at me with a grin. He kissed my forehead before shifting to sit on the ground by my chair losing his grin. I took his hand and squeezed it. “You came back,”
“I told you I would.”
“But you look unscratched.” I pointed out and he nodded before placing his other hand on mine. “Darling, there’s something I need to tell you.”
I sat up and turned to face him. “Aaron? What’s going on?”
“It’s Raph. When we went to his den he had left a long time ago, none of us wanted to track him because inside the den…” he shuddered remembering what he saw. The twisted feeling in my stomach grew. I touched his jaw and he continued. “Darling, he killed his pack.” Aaron whispered. The bile rose in my mouth but I swallowed hard. “He killed… what?” I asked and Aaron sighed before lifting to his knees so we were eye level. “Rose, Raph murdered his pack before he let Zoe go. That’s what Ethan, Sam and I have been doing all day. Trying to cover his tracks.”
My breath caught but Aaron squeezed my hands. “How many?” I whispered and he kissed my forehead again. “I’m sorry,”
“Aaron, how many?”
“Five, three female two male.”
My stomach churned. “And ages?” I managed to squeak. “Ethan said between forty eight and sixteen.”
I slumped down further into the chair but Aaron held me making sure I was okay. “How’s Ethan and Jade?”
“Ethan’s telling Jade as we speak.” Aaron whispered breathing in my hair before kissing the top of my head. “I’m never going to do that to our family, Rose.”
I nodded and held him tighter, this wasn’t the news I’ve been waiting for. Turning my head up Aaron murmured “Let’s get you home.” before he helped me up. I held onto his hand while we said good night to Mike and Zoe, while we went through the house, while we got in the car, while he drove, while we got back, and while he put me to bed.

The next morning we went with Ethan and Jade to say good bye to their family. No, I didn’t know them but they were still a pack that was slaughtered. When everyone was done saying their words Izzy and Eve drove everyone home but Ethan, Jade, Aaron and I who were still standing by their graves. Jade was crying into Ethan’s chest while he held her against him trying to calm her but I could see the sadness in his eyes when he looked at the crosses. I touched Aaron’s upper arm and he looked down at me before I mouthed “We should get them home,”
Aaron nodded before I let go of his arm and handed him the keys to Eve’s car that sat four. He left to start it up while I went over to Ethan and Jade. I touched Ethan’s shoulder then Jade’s back. “Come on, lets get you guys home.” I said softly and Jade let Ethan go before sniffing and whipping her eyes, Ethan brushed her hair out of her eyes and she gave him a faint smile. “Sure,”
“They were good people, Raph’s going to pay for what he’s done.”
“Yeah,” Jade agreed nodding her head as she took Ethan’s upper arm to lean on. “Yeah, he’s going to pay.”

Chapter 18

Sheadon's face turned pale. I'm not crazy you have to believe me! I'm scared and don't trust anyone else im not sure what to do-His finger touched my lip. Sshh. You dont' have to say anything i believe you he smiled. But why? He turned away Becuase i know his voice was a whisper i leaned in to hear what he was saying about "Vampires" I breathed in That's not possible no one knows about them. He gave me a questionly sideglance, I don't know where you've been but ive known longer than you have the attack on the school last year spread news worldwide everyone came with the conclusion it was some dumb kids getting "revenge" I didn't believe one word so i did research and research and found some things that didn't make sense and i witnessed something i still have nightmares about. I know your a "Vampire" Lacey. The way your eye color changes there normal now the color of your skin your white as snow. Your fangs...You were recently turned i can smell it. If Sheadon could tell i was a vampire other people would be able to. Maybe that's why the people in the elevator were freaked out by me. I was recently turned by Jordan and there after me all of them i don't know what to do i can't fight them by myself and save...i hesitated. Sheadon put his hand on top of mine. He looked me in the eyes Jeremiah? I pulled my hands away. No..you cant poss- That you were lovers? Sheadon sat up Jeremiah is my brother.

How come you never said anything? Or went after him? I didn't know what had happened to him or that he could possibley be out there somewhere in the world doing who knows what. Jeremiah and Sheadon? I looked for a resemblance. They had the same shaggy hair chin, eyebrows and figures. I turned away trying not to stay for to long, Whenever he got the chance to come visit or give us letters he told me of this fantastic girl he had never meet anyone like you how you were very beautiful but he was terrified of you two being together becuase he didn't know what was going to happen but he didn't care as long as he could be with you forever. Until we got the news of what happened to him, THe school offered me his job to take. I agreed and thought maybe i could get some answers and try to find this girl he was talking about. And to my luck i did. I sat there replaying everything he just said trying to make out. Jeremiah said all that about me? Yes. he half smiled. I wanted to meet you but i never wanted it to be the way we did. And i never thought you were taking training lessons to go and kill ..He lowered his voice..Jeremiah!

Pain shot through me i hadn't talked to anyone about Jeremiah not even Jordan..I wasn't going to kill him..Well at first i coulnd't go on knowing he was out there not himself..But i found something that can.."Change him back." I can't be changed back becuase i wasn't changed i still have my soul but i know of something that can bring his soul back. Sheadon raised his eyebrow. Your serious? I glared at him Yes! of course And your going to help me. How? I'm cripled i couldn't even if i wanted to! That's where i come in i'm a vampire i can heal you. His eyes widen don't worry this won't hurt. I won't change you into one of me close your eyes. He continued to stare at me unsure. Please i mouthed. He closed eyes shut tight. My fangs exposed i lifted his wrist up close to my mouth his hands were even like...His veins were exposed i picked one fast my fangs bit in i continued to drink it felt amazing his blood was so clean. He fidgeted. I retrreated licking my lips. Covering his wrist with a band aid. i Stood back and watched his scars dissapear the color under his eyes go back to normal his normal color coming back he threw his cast off. He stood up i feel amazing better than i have ever felt. What did you do? I smiled "I saved you" Now come one we have alot of work to do. I opened the window we jumped out into the dark cold night blending in with the darkness.

Oh and thanks for the compliment about Jeremiah's "Feast" And i dont' think i will write another one like that it was just in my head and i felt like understanding him alittle bit more.

Well, I will have to admit that 'Jeremiah's Feast' was epic.
And so was that last chapter!! Jeremiah and Sheadon? Brothers? Oh wow, that was a twist I would NEVER come up with!

Chapter Twenty Two:
It took a few weeks for Ethan and Jade to get back to normal, I saw Zoe back at school saying that her family decided to take a family vacation for the three months because of a accident that happened. There was no sign of Raph or anything else going wrong for a very long time, the days turned to weeks which turned to months until it was summer again. I lay on my back, coated in a layer of sweat, and panting. The grass below me was flattened down but was still tickling my skin as the hot wind blew past me, Aaron lay beside me like I was. The river’s edge was only feet away from our own feet, our midnight run turned into a wonderful evening of sex. My heart was pounding in my chest when I rolled my head to the side to find Aaron looking up into the night. I rolled over completely resting my head on his shoulder when Aaron’s hand rested on my hip. “I better not have grass stains,” I told him and he chuckled before squeezing his hand on my hip. “I’m sure you and I will both have them.” He insured me and I smiled before lifting to look down at him. He smiled when he saw me, his hand pushed my hair out of my eyes before he kissed my forehead. “I have something for you,” he told me and I complained. “No, I don’t want you to move.”
Aaron smirked before pushing me over so I was on my back again. “It doesn’t help if you weigh nothing Rose,” he told me as he got up to find his pants. I growled annoyed but rolled onto my stomach to watch him pull something from his pockets and come back to me. “Close your eyes,” he told me and I rolled them. “Aaron,”
“Humour me Rose,” he said and I smiled before closing them. I felt Aaron put a box in my hand before I was aloud to open my eyes. It was a small black jewellery box. I lifted the lid and inside I found a teal sternum piercing board. I smiled at him and leaned up to kiss him. “Thank you, Aaron.”
“Happy birthday,”
“It’s my birthday?”
“It’s the seventh.”
“Oh,”
He smiled and ruffled up my damp hair. “Want my help unscrewing the ball?” he asked me and I flashed him a grin. “You’ve screwed me enough for tonight,” I teased and he growled but I ruffled up his hair and he rolled his eyes. When Sam, Ethan and I graduated we decided we’d do something crazy now that we didn’t have to go to school. Ethan got his ears pierced, Jade thought it was funny that now they can share earrings, Sam got in tongue pierced and I got my sternum. I sat up and carefully started to unscrew the ball from the piercing I was already wearing and took it out slowly. Aaron found his light and flashed it at me so I could put his new one in. “Is it tight enough?” Aaron asked me when I had finished. I double checked. “I can’t get it tighter,”
“Here, let me.” He said before reaching out and managed to turn the ball twice before it stopped. “Oh,” I said against and he kissed my cheek. “Idiot,”
“I’m yours remember,” I teased and he smirked. “Oh I’ll remember,” he flirted back making me blush. “Come on, darling. You look tired.” He said pulling me up to my feet. I rolled my eyes at him but threw my nightgown back on without protest. Aaron put on his pants when I looked around the trees. “You know I’ve been thinking about what courses I should take,”
“Have you?” Aaron asked standing beside me. I nodded taking his hand. “A CSI.”
He raised an eyebrow at me. “Really?”
“Why not? I mean I can help people find killers who murdered their families and friends.”
He gave it a thought before saying “Is this about what happened a year ago?”
“A part of it yes,”
“Darling, I don’t know.”
“Come on Aaron, it’s not like I’m going to walk into a gun fight or something.”
“Rose,” he stopped walking to take my upper arms. “I love where you’re going with this, I think it’s a good idea to help people and I know you’ll make a bad ass CSI but I’ve heard what happens to cops all the time. I’ve seen what happens to them, Michel has told me about what happens. I’m just not ready.”
“Aaron,” I murmured touching his hands. “It’s going to take years of training you know. The world could change.”
“So in ten years you’ll still want to be one?”
“I don’t know. Ask me in ten years.” I said and he gave me a smile. “How about we talk about it,”
“Then what?”
“Then we figure out what’s best for both us and the pack.”
“Right,” I muttered. “the pack.”
Aaron wrapped his arm around my waist before we started walking back home. We were just talking lightly, leaving the conversation about my school behind us and moved onto what we were doing this summer. Aaron was going on about working with Michel part time when I thought I saw Raph sitting on a rock only feet away. I stopped walking and stared, Aaron turned “What’s wrong?”
I blinked a few times before his body despaired like a ghost. “Nothing, thought I saw something.” I told him and he kissed my temple. “You’re tired darling, let’s get you home.”
We started to walk away but I kept looking back at the spot swearing to myself I saw him. But there wasn’t anything.

It had been a month, my courses were due within the next week for the starting of university. Sam and Ethan had already mailed theirs but I still wasn’t sure if this was the right thing to do. It was late on night, pretty much everyone had gone to bed beside Jade, Aaron, Ethan, Sam, and myself. I was alone in the kitchen standing in front of the fridge staring at the calendar counting over and over again, my course form in hand. “Debating what days to pick?” Jade asked walking up beside me, lifting my hand to read what I requested for. I shook my head doing the math again. “What are you doing then?” she asked watching me as I counted days as I flipped through the calendar. I put the course form down and leaned against the counter not sure what I was thinking. I clutched it feeling my legs getting weak when I finally looked up at Jade. “Where are the guys?”
“Out running like Aaron said they would.”
I nodded and raked my hand through my hair before clutching the counter again feeling numb. “Rose?” Jade asked walking closer, her wrist going to my forehead making sure I wasn’t sick. “Rose? Is everything okay?”
I took a deep breath before giving her a small smile. “Jade, I think… I think I’m late.” I whispered and I saw her mouth drop. “Really?”
“Well, I don’t know.”
“When was the last time you two… well, you know.”
“See that’s the problem, it’s so close together I don’t know anymore.”
She nodded then looked at the calendar hoping for an answer like I did. “I’m thinking about going to buy a test just to make sure.” I whispered but Jade shook her head. “After the Zoe incident I bought one just in case something happened to either of us.”
“May I?”
“Yeah, come with me.” She said taking my hand and towing me up the stairs to her room where I was sat on the bed as she searched through a box in her dresser. She came back to me with a box with a pregnancy test inside when she pressed it into my hands. “I’m coming with you,” she said when I got up to leave. “Not actively when you’re… but when it’s done. I want to know too.” She explained and I gave her a one arm hug. “Upstairs it is then,” I told her and together we crept up the stairs to my room. The bed was still a mess from this morning, either of us care to make it so it was still slept in. Other then that the room was completely clean. I went to the bathroom leaving the door agar because Jade was rambling about something but I wasn’t paying too much attention. When I came out she rose from the bed. “And?”
“It’s still thinking,” I said placing the test on the dresser and leaded against it. Jade watched me. “Is this a good thing or a bad thing?”
“I don’t know,” I whispered subconsciously sliding my hand over my abdomen that could carry Aaron’s baby. “How long does it take?”
“Two or three minutes,” I told her and she checked her watch. “This is so intense.” She murmured and I smiled. I was about to tell her “Yeah, it is.” when I heard howling. But it wasn’t howling I recognized.
Oh moon, Aaron.
Quickly I moved over to the window listening to the wolves, I guess two or three if any but they were loud. Loud normally meant big. My heart pounded in my chest I looked back at Jade “Watch the house,” I said before crawling out of the window and running into the forest. “Rose!” she shouted at me but I ignored her and kept running. As I ran I tore off my clothes, nearly falling over a couple of times but continued to run until I got to a clearing and changed faster then I ever have. It hurt. Sniffing the air I picked up Sam’s scent and chased after it, my body refusing to move this quickly so fast after a change but I didn’t care. I ran fast, over the hills and under the trees, snarls and yelps piercing the air. Feet pounding faster I pealing up the hill where I found Sam rolling over another male who bit his leg hard, Ethan throwing off another male then chased him through the trees and then I saw Aaron on the rocks with Raph. My heart stopped. I watched as Raph lunged at Aaron biting down on his neck, the blood squirted in the night but Aaron didn’t flinch. He knocked Raph down kicking his head with his back leg when I heard a yelp from Sam. The red wolf was pining him down tearing open his stomach. I charged after the red wolf and butted him off Sam. He snarled at me, I growled back before lunging at his throat. We rolled together, teeth and claws, blood being spilt and fur getting torn until I was rolled against the rock. The red wolf went for my neck but Sam pushed him off before he could even get close to me, together as Sam pined him down I finished him off by tearing out his throat and gutting him like he tried to do with Sam. He convulsed as he died, both Sam and I backed away in awe as to what we both did. I checked him over, he was pretty beaten but will live. He did the same to me but I heard Raph snarl and I tore off. Climbing the rock I tried to mind all the torn down trees and sharp trunks as I climbed. It was a tall settlement of rocks that cut into my under belly and paws but I kept climbing. When I reached the top Aaron threw Raph off him and got ready to jump when Raph spun around and beat him to it. I watched them roll until Raph was on top biting Aaron’s throat again, I tore after him and kicked him off with all my might. Raph went flying into the rocks and landed with a bone crunching thud. I stood over Aaron hacks raised and head low growling Derek’s growl as I glared at Raph. Aaron was too surprised to react with me standing over his stomach protecting him as Raph slowly came to and saw me. He snarled getting up but I held my ground and growled Derek’s growl again. He leaped up into the air but I jumped at the same time, our bodies collided feet away from Aaron. I got a good hold of his shoulder and tried to tear as much muscle as I could before Aaron butted me out of the way of Raph’s teeth which sunk into Aaron’s chest. I snarled and jumped at Raph’s torso clawing at his ribs when Raph let Aaron go to swipe me. I tumbled backwards into the rocks I had kicked him into only moment later and hit my head badly. The blood gushed from the wound and I saw stars for a moment until I saw Aaron’s neck being bitten again by Raph. I pushed myself up and ran for Raph lunging at his torso which lead us to roll again. He barked at me then kicked my already bleeding under belly which sent my flying and rolling into the dirt again. Aaron got a hold of Raph’s leg and tug so hard I heard a snap then a howl of pain. Then Aaron jumped on Raph’s neck. Another snap. Raph went still. It was a long moment, we were watching his body in wait for him to move but he didn’t. Slowly Aaron left Raph’s side to come to me but when Aaron turned his back Raph leaped up and charged at Aaron. Instinct took over, protect your Alpha. Hell, protect the man you love. I bolted without thought, running past Aaron and jumped for Raph. We rolled once more clawing and biting until Raph got the upper hand and pushed me off with so much force I fell off the cliff. Then I heard the most horrible nose in my life. Tearing. The pain followed the noise, from my ribcage I felt something penetrating my body but it was something that shouldn’t be there. The hot blood leaked from the wound, my chest was heaving from the fear and confusion. It hurt to breath. Trying to stop this pain I squirmed but I just sunk further. I managed to lift my head a bit and saw it. A tree. I’ve been impaled by a tree. I saw the blood along the trunk from where I felt and felt the dirt against my back, the cliff a good hundred meters above me. My body started to convulse unnaturally, shaking and shifting between forms. My howls of pain became screams as I became human again, the wound only got bigger and I bled more. Hands held mine keeping me from touching the wound, I saw Sam and Ethan’s face above me. Ethan looked green and was about to be sick while Sam’s was frightened. “Rose hold on, it’s going to be okay.” He told me squeezing my hand with all his might. I choked but it wasn’t by his words. It was the blood. Sam swallowed hard holding my gaze with tears in his eyes. I knew then I was going to die. “…Aaron…” I croaked choking on more blood. “…Save… Aaron…”
“Rose it’s okay. Aaron’s okay. He’s coming down now, you have to hold on Rose. Hold on for Aaron,” Sam insured me before I felt Ethan let go of my hand but it was replaced. “Rosalyn,” Aaron whispered, tearing up more then Sam was. He held the back of my neck making sure I wasn’t choking on my blood more then I had to. I gave his hand a squeeze. “…Don’t cry… love… I hate… it when… you… do…” I whispered choking more, Aaron whipped the splatter away. “Darling, don’t die. Please don’t die. I love you Rosalyn,”
“... I… love you… wolf… b…o…y” I said then everything went dark.





Chapter Twenty Three:


I felt warm. Really, really warm. And light. Like I was suspended into the air but oddly I felt something plush under me. It was big, soft and deep. A bed maybe? Hell, I don’t know. I opened my eyes slowly, the bright sunlight blinded me for a moment and I winched moaning in complaint. “Oh, sorry. Here, is this better?” I heard someone ask me before the sunlight was gone. I mumbled “Yes,” still a little groggy but opened my eyes. I saw a guy sitting beside me. He wore a pair of jeans without a shirt leaving his muscular chest bare, he had a tan like he lived for the outdoors, his hair was dark black and spiked away from his eyes but they were soft looking, almost slept in, his lips parted in a smirk, so soft and friendly, and his eye’s were pale blue.
Caleb.
“Morning Rose,” he said softly reaching out and touching my hair brushing it out of my eyes. “It’s been a while.” He added leaning over and kissing my forehead. I felt his lips. I felt his hands. I felt his breath against my skin, I felt his warmth, I felt him. But how? He was dead, I knew he was dead. “Caleb, am I…”
“Dead?”
I swallowed hard. “Yeah, that’s the word.”
He held my hands and squeezed them. “I’m sorry baby,”
“Where the hell am I?” I asked him sitting up and he gave me a loving grin. “Home, Rose.”
I looked around the room, it was my old one. It looked the same as I remember it before the fire, the light green walls, the white curtains, the soft big white bed, my wooden dresser by the window, my fish tank, my book shelf, and the door. But it had things I didn’t have before the fire. I had Aaron’s pillow, his dresser, his books, I had his mother’s box of knacks on the shelf, and I had the nightgown he bought me. I got up and looked in the mirror gasping at what I saw. It was me like I was before I died. My black hair was still short and straight, my dark eyes lined with the eyeliner Jade had put on me, my lips still had the small amount of apple lip balm I wear when I’m sad, I still had the teal sternum piercing Aaron had given me, my jeans were black with rips and holes, my sneakers still beaten up, and my shirt still torn in weird places thanks to Aaron who couldn’t get it off fast enough and was covered in nail slits from both of us. I turned around and looked at Caleb. “But when I died,” I swallowed before continuing “I wasn’t dressed like this.”
“When we pass on we arrive here in what we wore either the same day or during our death. I pulled on pants at three in the morning for you before I was shot and you were wearing that before Raph pushed you.” He explained getting up and touching my hair. “You’ve changed so much, baby.”
“Where’s Aaron?” I asked him and he bit his lip before extending his arms to me. I knew then that I was the only one who died that night. Sam, Ethan and Aaron where still alive. I hugged him tightly gasping from the pain in my chest knowing I would never be with Aaron again until he dies when Caleb kissed my cheek. “Come on Rose, I had something to show you.” I didn’t want to go but I took his hand and he lead me out of my room. It wasn’t just my room though it was the full house. We passed the hall where all our family once slept, through the kitchen where we all dinner and to the living room where I saw him. He turned around noticing my presence before giving me his smile I grew up with. His dark brown eyes were lit up with joy and his black hair pushed away from his tan face. He was shorter then I remember but I think that was just because I grew in the past few years. I let Caleb’s hand and ran to him, he picked me up and twirled me around in his arms kissing my forehead. “Dad!”
“Look at you Rosie, you’ve changed so much.” He said putting me down but I held onto his chest hugging him as tightly as I could manage. “Oh moon I’ve missed you so much!” I said and he hugged me back. “I’ve missed you too Rosie,” Derek said using my old childhood nickname making me smile. “Oh moon, if mom where here I swear she’d be so happy.”
“How is your mother?”
“Asleep when I left her.”
“Oh Rose I’m so proud of you for being there for her.” He said spinning me around again but sat me down on the sofa like I used to sit with him, Caleb plopped down beside me wrapping his arm around my waist. “I was Alpha,”
“I saw, you made your mother so proud. Both her and I.” he told me squeezing my hand making me smile. “And Aaron was Alpha too, he isn’t as bad as I thought he was.” I admitted then felt the pain come back into my chest. I guess my expression gave away what I was thinking because Caleb kissed my temple. “You two were good together,”
“I really loved him,” I whispered and Derek kissed my forehead. “Caleb, go show Rose.”
“Show me what?” I asked and Caleb gave me a sideways smile before pulling me up and off the couch. “Let’s go home Rose, everyone is there visiting family anyway.” He told me and I was confused. “What the hell’s going on?” I asked turning to Derek who smiled then got up himself. “Trust Caleb, I’ll be there too.” He told me before he despaired. “Whoa! What the? Where’d he go?” I asked looking back at Caleb. “It’s something you learn after you’ve been dead for a year or two. Trust me?” he asked and I shrugged. “Hold on then,” he said and I clutched his shoulders before everything went dark. I felt the wind blowing around me before my feet were back on the ground. It was sunny again, the air warm and blowing softly around me. I turned around from being buried in Caleb’s chest to see the house. I gasped. There sat Eve on the porch in a seat reading over something, Derek sat beside her touching her knee. She sneezed then whipped her nose with the tissue and threw it out before resting her hand on her knee going threw Derek’s. “You guys stay with us a lot?” I asked Caleb and he nodded. “That’s what we do. We protect during our living days and when we die we keep watch.”
“How often do you come?”
“Every day,”
“And you just watch?”
“Yes,”
“…Did you ever…”
Caleb smiled and kissed me quickly before taking my hand and pulled me along. “Caleb you pervert!” I shouted at him as he towed me trying to get free of his grasp but he was too strong even as a ghost. “How dare you watch me like that?! That’s just wrong on some many levels! You’re a pervert!”
“Rose,” he said turned around and took my upper arms in his hands. “Not all I watched was good.” He told me resting his forehead on mine. “I watched when you were kidnapped, I watched what they did to you, I watched what Blake did to them, I watched over Aaron, I watched over you, yes sometimes what meant I caught you two together but I didn’t watch that. I watched you when you were crying, I watched when he helped you, I watched when you took charge, I watched when you got hurt.” He told me and I kissed his cheek. “Can I?” I asked looking past him into the house. Caleb pulled me up for a quick kiss before letting me run free. I ran around the house looking over at Eve, then found Tim and Izzy, after that Trevor and Abe, Ethan and Sam after them but when I came outside I found Caleb lying in the grass looking up at the sky. “Where’s Aaron and Jade?” I asked lying beside him, he opened one eye before saying “With your body.”
“Where’s that?”
“In the grave beside mine,”
“Will you take me there?”
“Sure, baby.” He said before taking my hand and we went into the darkness again. When I landed for the second time we were by my car and Jade’s. I left Caleb to run to the graves where I saw Aaron sitting in front of the freshest one, eyes red and teary, cheeks stained, cuts and gashes almost healed, some new scares were visible. He fingered his piercing I gave him and held onto Derek’s necklace in his other hand. I lifted my fingers to my neck but I found the ghost version of that necklace still around my flesh. His breathing was slow and uneven like it hurt to do so, I knelt beside him and kissed his cheek. His hand lifted to touch the spot I kissed but I’m sure it was just to scratch an itch. “Can he hear me?” I asked Caleb but he shook his head as he sauntered over to his grave and leaned against the cross. “Can’t hear you, see you, touch you, or smell you. You can touch him but it’s more subconscious then anything. He may never realize it’s you.” He told me and I glared. “That’s helpful,”
“I didn’t mean it in that way.” Caleb insured me but I brushed him off. “Can I have a moment?” I asked and he despaired. I looked back at Aaron shifting to sit in front of him before leaning in to kiss his lips. A faintest touch I knew but I just wanted to kiss him one last time. He sighed before raking his hand through his hair which went through me. Clearly he didn’t notice me here at all. “Aaron?” I asked touching his jaw. “Aaron, love, it’s me. It’s Rose.” I said to him but he said nothing, his eyes fixed on my grave behind me. “Aaron, my love, I’m here. Listen to me, I’m right here.” I told him but got the same response. “Aaron you idiot! Listen to me! I’m right in front of you! See me! Please see me! I love you!” I shouted but still nothing. I groaned falling backwards onto the earth when I heard Jade’s voice. “Aaron?” she asked him and he muttered something. “Hmm?” he asked back not turning his head. “Aaron… I’ve figured out how to get ride of Raph.”
“He ran off Jade, that’s good enough for me.” He said coldly and Jade came up to him and slapped his cheek. Hard. “Whoa, nice arm.” I said before Jade went into her rant. “That’s good enough for me?! That’s all you have to say?! That’s good enough for me?! Aaron you idiot! She was the love of your life and you were to her! She loved you more than anything I’ve ever seen! Rose didn’t deserve to go out this way! That’s good enough for me my ass! You’re dying Aaron! You’re dying to get your hands around that bastard’s neck as squeeze! You want him dead! That’s good enough for me is so not true! She gave her life up to save yours, Aaron! Her Alpha, her lover, her mate! She died trying to save you and all you have to say about that is ‘that’s good enough for me’!”
“Enough!” Aaron shouted back at her, Jade held her ground. She kneeled in front of Aaron saying “What are you going to do about this Aaron? She’s wasn’t just another wolf to me, she was my friend. I loved her like a sister and I know you love her like a wife. What are you going to do about this?”
He held her gaze before lowering it to the necklace in his hands. “I don’t know,” he whispered weakly. “She helped me with so much I don’t know what to do anymore. She was the reason I became Alpha, she was the reason I stayed with this pack, she was the reason I woke up everyday not regretting the morning before I even got out of bed, she was my life, my soul and now she’s gone.”
“That’s not true, Aaron.” She said then tilted his head up to look at her. “She’s still here,” she said placing her hand over his heart. “As corny as this sounds Aaron, Rose will always be with us no matter what happens.”
He gave her a small sideways smirk before tilting her head down and kissed her forehead. “Thank you,”
She smiled back at him and got up to leave but Aaron caught her hand. “How did you figure out to stop Raph?” he asked and she lost her smile before taking his hand in both of hers. “He’s killed so many women before Aaron, if you go to the Elders and tell them that they will have him hunted down and slaughtered like he did to the women.”
“But it hasn’t stopped him before,” Aaron pointed out and she bit her bottom lip before letting his hands go and pulled her purse out and as she dug threw it she told him “True but Rose did something that the other’s didn’t.”
“Which was?” Aaron asked getting to his feet, I followed him standing by his side and held my hand around his. Jade pulled out my test. I watched as Aaron reached out for it. “She was pregnant, Aaron.”

Thanks, I wasn't sure what people would think of it. I'm kind of working on something right now but it takes after Kelly Armstrong's The Summoning because my friend told me I had to read it. Don't really know what to do now but I do know I can't wait till chapter nineteen comes aroud.

Chapter 19

The wind kept blowing faster i could barely feel a breeze with every passing second we ran. Nothing was chasing after us..or was there? Nothing was safe anymore i could see my school that was the only place i felt safe. I glanced every few second to make sure Sheadon was still keeping up with me it was tiring i almost forgot he was human. Almost there i shouted. Thank god it was sunday the School was desserted..A few teachers were still there preparing for what was coming of the week. I slowed down. Grabbing Sheadon. You okay? He continued to look straight ahead. It's nice to be back he smiled at me. I couldn't help but feel happy..like i was doing one thing right for once.

He led me to the back of the school. Wait here. he said. I nodded watching him disappear in the dark. A few moments passed..Come on..I followed him into the school there was no one in sight. We passed a few classrooms when i stopped, Jeremiah's office was right in front of me...My stomach turned i swallowed back tears. I pushed the door open wider..Everything was cleared out except for a chair and desk in the corner. It was like i had remembered we had meet in here numerous times. There was a photo on the desk a picture of him and his family. I put my hand over his face..Why? I thought. I let a tear fall. Lacey? I turned around Sheadon was by the door..you okay? I wiped my eye and put the picture back down taking one last look at Jeremiah. I'm fine. He gave a small smile. You really loved him. "Yes". He was very lucky it's devasting wha- Don't i stopped iv'e heard it a bunch of times i don't need a reminder we were the perfect couple and something so big ruined it. Don't feel bad for me it's life stuff happens. He closed his mouth. Being respectful. He disappeared from the room. I followed him. We were in the gym.

Sheadon's back still facing me. Look what i said back there i didn't mean it in a mean way it's just everyone thinks...'They know what your going through?' finished my sentence. I was in love once as shocking as that is. Nothing like you and Jeremiah but we were in love. She was the one. He played with his palm while continuing. Everything was going fine..Until she got cancer..no one saw it coming it wasn't in here family. She had four months to live..I couldn't bare anything anymore i felt like i was dying along with her...So i left i needed to find myself biggest mistake of my life the doctor said she had four months it was more like two. I didn't make it in time to say goodbye i wish i could take it back everyday. You at least got to be with Sheadon before...He broke down crying..I moved closer putting my arms around him comforting him..I'm not asking you to feel sorry for me i just want you to know i know how you feel.
Thank you..i whispered in his ear. Were going to get through this. I know we will were going to train and train whatever it takes. And than I'm going to track down Jeremiah and when i do... Sheadon looked up at me. His exspression changing. "I'm going to kill him" i breathed.
