Did anyone else think that Daniella Ivashkov had something to do with the murder of Tatiana? I mean, she really wanted to know what time Adrian had entered her room, and she did set Rose up with that lawyer? She was kinda mad when Abe showed up and Rose chose him.

Also, she was there when Rose was ranting about the Queen? Could make sense... the nice characters are never as they seem!

I don't think Danielle Ivashkov did it , I do think however....that she had an affair with Erik Dragomir...

Hmm I've never even considered Adrian as the other Dragomir... It is a possibility. I'm going to have to reread spirit bound now to see if there are any hints toward that.

When I saw that I kinda thought maybe there is a chance that isn't his father,
but now that you bring it up
Maybe that is proof that he is the other Dragomir.

So just now I was thinking about SB and about Adrian and Lissa possibly being siblings and then this thought struck me. What if Tatiana was the one stealing documents from the Alchemists and learned that Adrian actually IS related to Lissa because of an affair we all think Daniella had with Erik Dragomir? And then Daniella murdered Tatiana because she knew the truth?

Eww... and Tatiana wanted Lissa and Adrian to get married!!! Though she did seem to stop trying to force them to be together before she died... maybe because she knew they were siblings.

If Adrian is Dragomir's son, it could give Daniella motive for killing the Queen since she probably wouldn't want anyone else (like, say, her husband) to know that Adrian is not really an Ivashkov. And Adrian and Lissa are both spirit users. Do you think it'd be more likely for there to be more than one spirit user in a family or if they're not actually blood related? We don't really know if the magic thing is passed on through genetics or if it's something unique to each person. It could be both, like personalities. But if Dragomir had the genes to pass on spirit to any of his children, he could have passed it to both Lissa and Adrian, that is, if Adrian actually is his son.

Adrian really a Dragomir. At this point anything is possible. Did SB say anything about resemblences btwn Adrian and Nathan? I can't remember.

Seriously….. Seriously!! It has been 2 days that I finished and I'm still tripping. I don't know even know where to start… well there are some great theories on here! The whole thing about Adrian's mother being the one to kill her seems a little too much for me but you never know…. Actually the first person I thought was Adrian's father lol… It makes sense to me b/c 1. Rose is the one being framed. 2. If Tatiana was the one that knows the secret of Lissa and Adrian being Siblings this will give his family shame/problems and 3. He knows that Lissa will be against all of his votes. There could be more reasons but of course we won't know till the next book. I do think there's a huge chance it's someone on the Royal Council. Oh man and what is Rose's mother going to say and do!? The other thing that I see everyone debating is the whole Rose/Dimitri/Adrian triangle and No, I disagree that there would ever be a Lissa and Dimitri. It's hard to decide who is better for Rose but I personally think that she will end up with Dimitri because it is who she truly loves (and yes… Dimitri loves her too but he is hiding it… I mean come on right now the only thing he can think about is what he did and who can blame…. It's only been a couple days that he has turned!!! Give the guy some room to breath lol). He showed that he still cares by the way he is treating her, from telling her he doesn't care for her own good (have we not read New Moon lol) to fighting for her in the Break room when she was getting arrested. Yes I do agree that he is totally over doing it (piss me off a couple times!!) and he should know that Rose will not stop. Adrian…. Poor Adrian!! I really have been falling in love with him in the last 2 books but It's really going to be hard for them two to be together… not only by Adrian's family but society. Rose wants to be a guardian and nothing is going to change her mind so I doubt she is going to stay behind to be with Adrian. The only other way is by Adrian following her around and of course this means that Rose will have to be Lissa's guardian or his guardian (but I doubt that). Also, Adrian is really unstable for her and I see that being a problem one day. Either way right now Roes got some more serious problems and that is her freedom!

i was most definitely disappointed about how Spirit Bound turned out. I think the first part about the challenge and rescue were rushed a lot and should've been focused on i mean Rose's trials were a big thing, that was the test to see if she was becoming a guardian!!! I don't get why it wasn't explained or put into more detail!!!

I love all the VA books, and SB was sooo good . I have to say that I'm team Adrian, I mean Rose just take Dimitri and give me Adrian. And I don't thinke Adrian is Lissa'a half brother, because he is already rich, there wouldn't be any need to send his mother more money.

i just finished spirt bound. and well i think that lissa was a selfshish B*tch in here. she knew how rose felt about dimitri . then she was like no!! i thikn that dimitri still has feeling for rose. that was proven when he protected her when the royal guard came for her. im not sure if lissa is going back outwith christan. thought i now that would make it easier for rose . i KNOW rose , and amborse didnt do it either. i think that someone in the inside of the court did it. not that helps any. and im still having thoughts of it so ill post more when i unravell my thougts ( just got done reading it so im still in shock)

So I just finished reading Spirit Bound and I loved it and I hated it. I loved that Dimitri is back and when I read it I didnt like what he said to rose- "Love fades. Mine has." - but then in the cafatira when he was protecting her from the guardians I knew he didnt mean it, he still loves her. And I know she loves him to, but I hope she loves Adrian more because I know even though he hasn't said it, he loves her to. And I knew Christian and Lissa were going to get back together because thier soulmates. Um, what else? The Queen Bitch, I think that Ambrose killed her. I know, I know, that sounds stupid and very wrong but I just have a feeling that it's someone you wouldn't expect...either that or it was Victor Dashkov...or an inside job. And I can't believe that Rose got arrested for it! It's rediculas and her and Adrian with the whole biting thing - Really? She is now a Blood Whore! That can't be the same Rose Hathaway that wouldn't let Jesse Zeklos bit her, but then again she didn't love Jesse. And I have one more thing I want to say.
WHO THE HELL IS THE OTHER LIVING DRAGOMIR?
But I unfortunitly can't disscuss that now... Maybe later...

I just finished Spirit Bound the other day and...WOW! My mind is still racing with everything that happened. I had feeling that Dimitri was either going to get saved or killed in the book series, but I didn't expect to find out this soon. It was an almost pleasant surprise.

I say almost because of the way Dimitri decided to treat Rose once he came back. I wish I could say I thought Rose was being petty or selfish for wanting some acknowledgement, but I can't. I really understand where she's coming from and if I were her, I'd be just as upset. It's not like she's saying she wants a big party with a banner saying "THANK YOU, ROSE!" She's just asking to not get treated like dirt by the man she risked everything for. The fact that he just shoved her out of his life so easily while he treats Lissa like his savior just ticked me off in a huge way. Yes, Lissa did her part when the time came, but come on? Who did all the sacrificing? Who came up with the plan? Who went to hell and back for Dimitri? That would be Rose. And I'm not saying that this isn't hard for Dimitri, because I honestly can't imagine what he must be feeling right now. But I can't forget that some of the things he did as a strigoi, he did to Rose. He kidnapped her and fed off her, he stalked her, he made it his mission to kill her. But Rose didn't break down, which she certainly had a right to do. No, she kept having faith that in the end she could save him.

However I don't fully agree with the way she went about her plan to break Victor out. I think Eddie has a right to be angry, but at the same time, I think he could've backed out at any time if he wanted to. Because even if she didn't tell him exactly what she was doing, she did tell him that what she was asking was going to be illegal and possibly ruin his career.

I must say, I was very proud of Lissa at the start of the book. She was self involved than she usually is. And I love how hard she worked to help Rose. For, I think the first time, I felt like their devotion to each other was more two-sided than it's always felt. However, I wasn't too fond about how it all became about Lissa towards the end of the book. She's getting all of the praise, while Rose gets more trouble piled onto her. And it's not even trouble that she started.

I thought it was a little odd that Rose let Adrian drink her blood, but I will say one thing, I HATE the term Blood Whore because I think it was a term created by the Moroi to try and keep Dhampirs in line. So I will not call Rose that, because she is anything but a Blood Whore.

Speaking of the Moroi, I'm surprised any of the Dhampirs would want to fight for these wuss bags. They have the power of magic, they aren't invalids, but still they think their too good to actually defend themselves. Instead they make dhampirs, brainwash them into thinking that defending the Moroi is the only thing that matters and if they decide they want something, they are outcasts. They send these poor Dhampirs out to be slaughtered for them and than they make more Dhampirs to repeat the cycle, all the while looking down on the Dhampirs who have sacrificed their lives for them. And now, they honestly want to rob them of their childhood. I was enraged when I read that. Honestly, I'd want to stage a revolt because that's so messed up.

And as for the Queen, I wasn't her biggest fan, but I can't believe she's dead. Apart thinks it might be Ambrose. I don't know why I think that, I just do. I think he's one of the people we'd least suspect, which is naturally why I suspect him.

I loved Spirit Bound and Richelle Mead has yet to disappoint me. I can't wait for the next book.
