| I think it's really good your curious about college. I wasn't which is why I had such a struggle with college. I went to one college for a year and failed remedial math so had allocate to a different college to re-take math. Instead of graduating this year with a Bachelors I will only be graduating with an AA.
Do you take regent exams? Not sure which region you live in but i live in New York and in high school we had to take regents. Based on your regent scores colleges determine your placement and if you need to take remedial entrance tests and stuff like that.
I recommend try your best to score at least passing on any regent like test you may have to take. I never took those test seriously in high school. The funny thing is my math regents i scored a 74... if i would of had a 75 i wouldn't even needed to take a math entrance test in college. The first time i took the math entrance test in college.. i failed by one point also. So frustrating.

| We just have to take the ACT or SAT in Ohio. We have the OGT to graduate high school but if you fail that test, you kinda deserved to. It's incredibly easy. I do pretty well on tests but I don't even know what kind of college I want to go to and for what major. I was thinking music major but I have no idea which music to do. There's education, performance, therapy and others. My family wants me to double major with the second major being mathematics since being mathematically inclined might be useful. | |

| It is a lot to think about. But you have time. But, it's never too early to start looking.
Music is your passion i say go for it, just be search to research what a music degree can be applied for and technical things like that. I'm in a stick situation because my degree, Deaf Studies( Sign Language) really can't be applied to much. To become an interpreter you need to go into a program from two years and get a BA and pass a national test to be licensed. But, i don't even want to be an interpreter. I just want to learn sign language and i figured a degree in Deaf Studies is better than a general liberal arts degree.
About the math double major- just be careful, if it's something you are good at and like then yeah i would agree. Math is really in demand area and it won't hurt. But, if your not interested or passionate about it, it will suck majorly.
Almost everyone i know, including myself, almost always ends up changing their major. I changed mine like 4 times. lol. Internships are good too, volunteer work.. cause it really helps to expose the inner workings of the field and that's how you really find out if you can see yourself studying that and working in that field.

I don't think we bother with anything like that here...it's rare that an actual snow day will occur. I remember one of the times my friend's got the day off was not actually because of the snow but because all the heaters at the school broke, and because it had snowed over night they couldn't really survive the day. But our cold weather is not all that cold really...I mean it's cold for us, but not cold compared the the middle of winter in the Northern Hemisphere

| We didn't get a snow day today but we got let out of school 20 minutes early in order for the buses to get us home in a timely manner. That hiccuping video was funny and cute. How do you do that thing where you copy what someone else has said and it's in black with gray letters? | |

| I hope i can explain.. instead of hitting reply... in the upper right hand corner of someone's comment it says quote.. press that. ORyou can copy what you want to quote and on the tool bar when you hit reply.. it's the 12th icon. So paste what you want to quote.. highlight it and then click the button.
I hope i explained that in an understandable way.
We had a snow day today. Not that i have classes right now but i needed to go to school. And tomorrow might be another snow day.
I love the snow but i just got into a fight with my family.
Since we live in a two family house, we have to shovel our own snow. My dad called me and asked me to shovel.. i was shoveling with my boyfriend for two hours... and when we were finished it looked exactly like it did when we started. So we came instead to warm up. Five minutes after changing out of my wet clothes.. my mom and brother come home early from work.. and my brother can't get the car in the driveway...And they start talking crap about us.. saying oh these two didn't do nothing and things of that sort. Now my brother is my mom's favorite.. he can do no wrong while I'm always doing wrong in her eyes.
SO i got back outside and shovel again. Mostly by myself, my brother was hardly doing anything. After he fit his car in the driveway he went inside. I stayed outside to clear out the driveway some more for my dad... When my dad arrives..... He doesn't even use the path i cleared.. he just rode over the snow. He was mad to find me outside by myself and after i told him what happened he was like "go inside! " And torn my mom and brother a new one for making me go back outside. He then turned to my brother.. and said " your a punk. Can't drive over a little snow? a little snow?" lmao
I love my daddy. | |

I think I got it. That fight sounds like my family. The youngest child seems to always be the one that doesn't get in as much trouble. I am the youngest in family and when my older sibling moved out, I started getting blamed for everything. I hope things get cleared up at your house though. It's horrid to have a bunch of people mad at each other in the house.

| I enjoy shoveling driveways when I am mad. It helps release the anger in a more positive way. Sledding and snow angels are awesome though | |

| Lol i was so angry i was shoveling like a snow machine.. i'm going to be sore tomorrow.. .but snow angels, snow ball fights and all kinds of debauchery with the snow is going to happen later today :-D
and LOL kim.. i make the perfect fluffy snow ball that flutters all over upon impact.. my bf however... he makes it ice balls.
Last year we were having a snow fight.. he picked up a shovel and started throwing shovels of snow at me. I went all five year old and ran to hide behind my dad. Lol.

| Well, I guess that's a bit of a problem. You could always come here during our summer too lol. It might rain on you though. I am pretty sure that the year of 2009 was the rainiest during summer and fall | |

| That sounds like fun! It's much more fun to play in the snow if you have someone to play with. My yard is practically untouched because when I get home from school, I go in the house and put on pajamas and just sit around. It's easier to be lazy. I will probably play in it tomorrow though. | |

| I'll just get ready to watch The Lightning Thief, in hopes that finally, a chance to at least even buy time until Jill could get her works to repair the final damages that the twilight sequels had unleashed.
As for everyone else? | |

| Having finally read the first three PJO books, i am looking forward to the movie. It even caught the attention of friends of mine who usually arent into that genre. I expect good things from the movie. But, i don't think the opening night will rack in the numbers it should ...because ..well between Valentines Day and the snow storm we just had ( well atleast in my part of the wood) . | |
