| OH NO! Tasha, how could you possibly let it win? The Icing is never supposed to win.
....that being said, How'd the Icing do, did the cake look alright in the end?
(I was going to type 'frosting' but since I usually never say frosting I decided I'd stick with 'Icing')

| At a camp I went to, I laughed at my friends for getting cupcaked in the face and I ended up with white frosting all over my face. | |

| Lol, yay Kim! I converted you from being cyber-ly political correct/ considerate! ( icing) lol
Lol no idea what i was trying to do.. i think scrap some of it off and then evenly disrupt some across the cake but it was just stuck to the fork and it got personal.. lol. ended up with a big pile of frosting and the cake in pieces lol.
i quite like that saying "cupcaked" lol... i hope you have pictures of that... sounds fun!

| Aw, the poor girl...but at least there was a reason behind it, it's sort of like modified birthday punches, only a few less than the age they're turning haha, it's too much effort to type both versions all the time, and since I already knew which way you were writing it there was no point repeating it (or at least that's what I'm telling myself and I'm sticking to it ) lol, so you ended up with cake/icing mush? nice...I'm sure it'd all taste good still. | |

| lol i have to agree ...being cupcaked is way better then birthday punches. I had a terrible experience with birthday punches my last birthday :shivers:
I was with my boyfriend and his friends ( all his friends are older guys like 25+). We were at a club. The dj ( who was a friend) gave me a birthday shot out.. then they ALL looked at each other and then looked at me and were like BIRTHDAY PUNCHES! I was like oh hell NO ... I could handle my friends and their punches but these are buff mechanics and have trained in fighting ( ufc type stuff / mixed martial arts) . Even if they were playfully punching... it would still be painful. I ran out of the VIP into the crowd. Lol.
And the mush of a cake did taste quite good but i think it's more because I have been on a diet for 3 weeks. I took two days off from the diet - Sunday for the Super Bowl and yesterday because of all the left overs lol. So non- healthy food tastes amazing.
I'm actually very upset today because yesterday i had my boyfriend go to the supermarket and buy me fruit so i can take up my diet again today. I spent a very long time cutting and chopping up fruit and putting them in separate Tupperware dishes. Last night, i go to the fridge to grab a bottle of water and i noticed my fruit dishes look out of order. So i went to fix them and the dish with my watermelon felt light. So i opened it and it was practically empty. It was filled to the top, i didn't eat any of it. I'm the only one in the house hold on a diet. I don't mind sharing my fruit but they ate almost the WHOLE things. I was sooo furious. Do you ever get angry and start thinking about other things and get angrier ? Lol cause that's what i was doing. I was thinking about my brother eating my whole dish of watermelon and the other day my mom throwing out my whole pot of coffee lol.

| I hate it when that happens! Sometimes my brother goes into my room ant takes from my pop stash. When you say you're on a diet, do you mean you are actually dieting or you are just eating healthier? I have tried eating healthier but some days that chocolate just calls out to you. I figured out that my best way to feel healthier is just to keep hydrated and drink more water. | |

| An actual diet. I guess it's healthier because it's healthy food. No junk food , no fried food , low calories etc etc lol. But, I haven't really been exercising . I'm not part of a gym or anything. There is a park nearby that has a track. But i just recovered from being sick.. I was sick from Thanksgiving to New Years. Since the weather around where i live is cold, the mixture of being hot and sweaty while exercising and the cold temperature outside...I'm very scared that would get me sick. So i just try not to be a coach potato while home( I'm on break from college for another few weeks but have been of since January) I just try to walk around.. vacuum everyday ... do a bunch of chores.. try not to be lazy. But i really want to start exercising. I'm not really trying to lose weight- I just want to be healthy because stuff like diabetes runs in my family. And i guess I don't want to gain any weight while I'm on vacation from school. Taking out college life from my schedule cuts a huge chunk of my daily activity. | |

| I can see where you are coming from. During the fall and summer I am fairly physically fit but during the winter time, I become a couch potato and gain like ten pounds. Have you ever had hiccups that last for a long time and you try just about everything to get them to go away but they still won't? I have hiccups right now. It gets a bit frustrating. | |

| Oh i hate the hiccups. The best remedy is slowly sipping water while not breathing. and then take a breath and do it again.
A nurse once told me the best remedy is to get a glass of water. Put a paper towel over the top. Poke a pen into the top and sip the water threw the paper towel. When she told me that i was like seriously? I admit i tried it once... and i think it worked. But, i think it only worked because the thought of doing it consumed me ( felt foolish and didn't believe it would work) and that distracted me from having the hiccups. lol.

| I usually eat a spoonful of peanut butter but it's sometime hard to get down. For some reason, if I eat pixie stix, I tend to lose my hiccups but I don't have any to use. I think I am about to get out the peanut butter. If that doesn't work, I will try one of your water solutions. | |

| I rarely get birthday punched, I tend to do relaxing things on my brithday which seems to involve a limited amount of people around me. It's nice to know I won't get unnecessary bruises on my birthday LOL at junk being acceptable during the Superbowl...I actually watched the half-time show for the Superbowl. It was on tv over here and my mum really wanted to see The Who...unfortunately, the sound and picture were out of sync so we had a slight delay...which is really odd to watch. You should make the inside of your house a walking track then. Walk close to the wall on one side and then just make you way around the entire house My best hiccup remedy is to be tickled...hard. You a)stop breathing slightly and b) are distracted. So Tasha, I definitely think that's what the nurse's cure was. | |

| Well, my hiccups are gone now! I have a question and please don't think of me as stupid but my school doesn't teach geography very well. Does Australia get snow? There is a bunch of snow here and I was just wondering if it snowed there. | |

| Yeah, we get snow, but only in certain areas. We have a mountain range: The Snowy Mountains (original isn't it ?) And the Great Dividing Range. And the tops of both get a fair bit of snow each year...nothing compared to the rest of the snow falling world, but I go skiing every year so enough for that. (and not to worry about the geography thing, Australia doesn't seem to be all that well known outside of our region.) That's right, it's summer here at the moment | |

| We have a foot of snow and there is currently a snow storm in which we are supposed to be 7-10 inches. Everyone is hoping for a snow day. It'd be pretty awesome to get to go sledding instead of going to school. | |

| Because I live in Sydney I don't get the benefits of snow days, but I have a few friends who live in the Snowy Mountains who've had snow days before. Quite jealous of them really | |

| Do they do crazy things when they are hoping for a snow day? When people want a snow day here, they were their pajamas inside out and flush ice cubes down the toilet. I have no idea what it's going to do but people still try it anyway. | |

| Lol @ Snowy Mountain.
I'm expecting snow too over here in New York. At least 6 inches they weather channel says.. .but I'm mad at the weather man. He has been playing with my emotions. I've been longing for snow so i can play in it lol. The past two weeks we only had snow flurries. But the mayor is calling to close all public schools tomorrow which is not cool for me because I have to go to my college and try to enroll in my payment plan for my tuition and also submit to a poetry contest. Not sure if closing public school extends to community colleges. But i don't relish the idea of tracking it in the snow to go to school. I want to play in the snow not travel...lol.
and lol , i don't have any ritual to do in a hope of a snow day.. just wishful thinking.

| I only get snowdays when I don't want them. I know this is a little off topic but I just got my results for the PLAN test today and I was wondering what you got on your ACT, that is if you took the ACT. | |

| I didn't have to take the ACT.
In highschool, i took the SAT... i dont remember my score but believe it or not, i didn't do well. I graduated top five of my class.. in fact all of us top five didn't do well on the sat.. i think the most you can score on a SAT is 2.400... i think we all ranged 1,200-1,400.
For college, i did have to take remedial math and take the compass test- like an entrance test. i scored pretty well on that.. the third time around...lol Math is not my friend.
My college has an exit exam.. cep they call it.. i thought i would score above average because it's basically essay writing... but i scored just average which was disappointing but i passed so i wasn't too unhappy.

| I am starting to get really curious about college. It seems a little scary though. My plan test told me that I'd score in the 28-32 range on the ACT. I did better than a lot of people on it which shocked me. It told me I scored better than 99% of the people who took in the U.S. so I was telling people it lied. I rank 8 in my graduating class which I feel is pretty good. | |
