What's everyone up to?

My birthday is April 30th. I am glad they aren't making a Vampire Academy movie because then a bunch of people who wouldn't bother with it if it hadn't become a movie would become obsessed.

Where's everyone at this week?

School has taken over my life :-( But, i am re-reading the VA series.. while on the train going to school or while eating lunch at school or five minutes before class etc etc. I don't like to start new books because i don't have to actually read it. But re-reading VA is nice refreshment and breather from all the academic work. Even if its just five minutes it lifts my spirits and gives my brain a chance to relax.

I started back at uni today, so it'll start to take over my life for the next 7 weeks *sigh*

I just got done re-reading the first 3 VA books too. It's definitely refreshing GL both of you with school and everything!

well this week is my holiday at home.
Last week i went skiing with my school! It was really fun and i made friends with people in the year below, and above!

But once i came back from skiing, i realised how completely sh*t my life is!
Its sooooo boring. Being 14 years old in year10 at school, is just exams, exams, studying, and exams!
Ive got a ton of homework to do in like a day! and i really cant be bothered
And im dreading going back to school seriously all i want to do in school is fall asleep, im that bored!
When i get home all i do is read, then watch a hour of tv if there's anything good on!

My problems probably sound really pathetic to you. By the way you're all talking you sound pretty grown up, like 20's or something, so it must be extremely difficult, because im guessing you have a ton of work to do!
So im sorry for my little ramble and rant there, but my life is soooo boring. The only thing that keeps me going is parties and the boys there and my friends aswell

Oh Chloe, I'm sorry you feel that way about your life.
Hey, going home and reading/watching tv is my idea of a perfect afternoon...I mean, It's not so cool when you've had a bad day though. Just try and relax a bit. Forget about school and such and just focus on you. I know you're new to the site, but we're a good source of venting, so we'll listen if you need to let stuff out.

I'm so jealous of your skiing trip. I'll probably be going skiing this year sometime, but since it's not winter over here yet I have to wait for the snow to fall first

I am doing okay. I am in the my school's musical's pit orchestra/band (we only have one string player) That is pretty time consuming. I have had jazz band after school the past two days as well so my schedule is that right after school to 3:30, I am a jazz band and then have pit practice at 4-6:30. I get pretty hungry but I am positive my life could be worse so I'm content.

I kind of wish I was back in college right now. This whole week, except for one day, I have been working with 6 to 8 babies/toddlers. When I get home I am so stressed out and just tired, but I find I'm able to relax if I have a good book to read. Oh and I have to work the the babies/toddlers all next week as well. Geez I could use a massage right now.

Taking care of a 21 month old and a 6 yr old is tiring as it is, I can't imagine how exhausting taking care of that many littles ones is. You definitely deserve a massage! You know, they do say that babysitting is the best birth control lol

Chloe, I agree with everything Kim said. Focus on you and take care of yourself. You're way too young to be soo stressed and feeling that way. Enjoy being young

RozaMariaRita (can't remember your name sooo sorry ) It's good that you are content and positive! Life is too short to live it any other way.

Yeah, I've gone skiing quite a bit actually. I'm not fantastic at it or anything, but I really enjoy it. There's just not as much snow here in Australia though But enough to have some fun with it.

Falling over is soooo funny, i started sliding down a mountain backwards..and one of my friends swiped me out!

I wanna try skiing and snowboarding. I've never been I mean hell I live in Fl we just don't get snow here lol. I'll have to start saving to go skiing on vacation soon. I can already see myself falling down but I'm the kind of person who finds it funny and laughs it off. And I gott say Australia is my dream vacation. But I'm terrified of flying specially over water-I mean I freak out driving on bridges over water I can only imagine how I'd be on a plane over water.

Im the type that would cheer ya'll along on the sidelines and bring ya hot coco and hit ya with a snowball or two lol.

I'm hoping I will start in the fall, if not then the spring of 2011.

I love living (and skiing) in Australia. But it is in the middle of nowhere, so difficult to get to.

Wilda: got any specific places you want to visit?

a few. I've done a little bit of research. I definitely want to see Sydney. The Great Barrier Reef, 12 apostles, Australia Zoo, and the Great otway national park. The first thing I'd want to do though is hold a koala lol. They are my fav animals Any suggestions of what to do/see??

Hold a Koala? Oh maybe you can get a picture inside a kangaroo's pocket! lol jk but I always wanted to do that.

lol, some kangaroos a pretty big, but definitely not big enough to fit a human inside their pouch

I love Koalas. I've only held them a couple of times, but just watching them is adorable. I'm in awe of them really. To sleep so peacefully and for so long and such tiny branches...it's awesome. I like wombats too, except they're sort of aggressive, so they're only good from a distance.
I guess it depends on how much time you'd be spending here. There are so many good places: Kata Tjuta & Uluru (especially at sunset...very pretty), Cradle Mountain in Tasmania...actually all of Tasmania...it's small, but so much fun, The Daintree Rainforest, Snowy Mountains ( personal favourite)...I love Sydney, so I'm always going to recommend it. lol, Lightning Ridge on Easter Sunday...super fun they have goat-cart races (yep, carts pulled by goats)...and you get to go opal hunting, so it's fun.
But for me, I can't really recommend hotel-y places, I've only ever been camping in them.

haha I know but I would love to get a picture with one him in shades and a large chain around his neck crossing his arms with the peace sign held up on his paws. We would be two Aussi G's! lol! And don't get me started on koalas! They are aggressive little bastards, excuse me, well the ones i know from the zoo. This one freaking bit the hell out of me leg! I didnt know those little shits, excuse me, could bite! terrible experiences. I only like wallabees and kangaroos koala's a evil little wombats in disguise on a mission from hell to kill me!

I haven't come across many agressive koalas. If they're treated well enough, they're just cuddly little things.

Maybe I should go to Austrailia instead they seem to be nicer.
