What's everyone up to?

Yesterday Germany was #1 because they had more silver medals than the US, even though the US had more total medals (they were equal in gold) ... but I haven't seen a medal tally since then.

Did you see the Korean girl who won gold? That was awesome! I am so glad I got a show day today because I stayed up pretty late watching ice skating.

I used to love watching ice skating but I'm not all that into it now. It's kinda boring to me but I do like watching the snowboarding and skiing. idk what all the Winter Olympics have. I keep forgetting about it

I used to ice skate so watching them ice skate kinda reminds me what I learned since I forgot most of it.

ohh thats cool. I think it would be awesome to ice skate and do all the jumps and stuff but I'm so clumsy I'm scared to just try to ice skate lol.

That reminds me of one of the Mighty Ducks movie...have you ever seen it? One kid they recruited for the hockey team was a wicked fast skater but couldn't stop to save his life. lol.

haha Mighty Ducks D2 I used to watch it all the time. The guy who played Louise (guy who couldn't stop) was hot imo.

My sister used to watch the Mitghy Ducks all the time..but even watching that occassionally I can't get into ice-hockey....it's boring.

I didn't end up seeing the ice-skating though, I was out all day and couldn't be bothered at night to re-watch it.

I haven't watched it since I was little so I don't remember any of it. That's how I was though. I bet they got entertainment out of me.

I'm getting ready to go out for breakfast with family (in a couple of hours...more like brunch) ... except sort of nervous because we're going to this boat-shed restaurant...on the coast, with a tsunami warning in place...I mean, our warning isn't for land damage, just marine wariness, but we're still going to the coast and the restaurant has these pylons that are normally already in the water, so I can only imagine what they'll be like if the water rises this morning. we'll know if the water hits us in a couple of minutes though...better turn the News back on

Not here it didn't. we hardly got anything. There's still a warning in place for the rest of today incase something was delayed, but Sydney didn't get anything too terrible...I sort of gave up worrying after I heard Tasmania was hit with an extra 10cm of water...not too terrible really.

Oh, I've been sick in bed all day so haven't been up for coming online. I logged on earlier for like five mintues but felt sicker being up and about but my internet addiction is overpowering the sickness ...LOL..

but i saw all the news stuff about Chile and the earthquake and the tsunamis and when then mentioned it was by Australia i thought of you Kim and was kind of worried for ya! Glad nothing bad happened in your part of the woods. My heart goes out to all the those affected by these things.

PS if anyone shops amazon, they are having a bargain book sale.. i found some books for super cheap. I'm fixing to buy the PJO books and some of Richelle's other books.

Ugh, it sucks that you're sick Tasha. I hate when you're super sick, you can't stand reading because concentrating so much hurts, sitting in front of a computer usually makes you slightly dizzy so you have to stop that one too and watching tv all day just gets boring. Being sick is definitely not fun.

Watching tv all day wasn't that boring until today. Woke up and found out my mom canceled half the cable channels. She said she canceled showtime and i almost shed a tear because ALL my shows start up soon and are on that channel. But Showtime still works. Glad I still have that channel at least. It wont be bad once I start school though, i hardly watch tv at all when I'm in school. My poor boyfriend though, the tv addict.. lol.

I rarely watch tv anymore...I mean, I watch a lot of DVDs, just not normal channels.

These days I mostly read my books or I'm on the computer.

I watched T.V. at my grandparents house for 3 hours yesterday because they wanted to watch the tsunami hit and we started laughing when nothing drastic happened.

Today, I've been rereading Shadow Kiss, playing games on my computer and started to write a story. I posted it under literature. Please check it out and let me know what you think. I'm starting to get a block so I think I'm done writing today.
