What's everyone up to?

Usually what happens to me is I write a chapter and then I take like 2 days or so to think up the next chapter. During that time I'm reading a book as well so I can get an idea and change it so it's my own.

Today I finished writing Chapter 6 and read a few Cahpters in the new VD book. If I'm not working tomorrow I might write chapter 7 because I already no what's going to happen.

I have a book full of ideas that I thought was original when i thought them up. But hollywood or an established author usually comes up with the same thing sooner or later before I get to write something decent

And then there's those times when you think you've got a good idea, but as you're writing it down you realise it just doesn't sound as good anymore.

That's exactly my dilemma... then again maybe i just dont have the literary competency to pull it off

well as for what im doing...
im studying...
im currently writing novels its called prozac nation.
it's not about vampires... or anything that goes bump into the night...
as for school... im am a junior.. in high school.
i have read this series.

Hmmm...haven't been on in over a week! We went to the beach at the beginning of spring break and I was the only one to get sunburnt. My shoulders are peeling and it's really grossing me out. Maybe next time I'll learn to wear sunblock-doubtful though. The rest of sb was kind of boring though. I did a little bit of shopping and spent some time with my kids and my mom who came for the week. I started re-reading VA again over the weekend and now I'm on Shadow Kiss. Other than that my life has been boring.

Sounds like a cool spring break to me. lol. I spent most of mine at home too. I spent the first few days in a brain stupor just vegging it out watching tv and being on the internet. Then Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday i spent all day doing homework and assignments. Friday, i seen a childhood friend for the first time in YEARS. Saturday i just helped my momma out in preparing for Sunday. And Sunday we had a bbq. I'm kind of screwed right now because I have school again today and I have a presentation tonight and I didn't start the assignment. I have and hour i can work on it before it's time to leave and then an hour break while in school. But, I don't think that'll be enough time. Plus, i'm super sick. I swear my school is a jinx. I was fine all spring break. Today, i woke up sick and my wisdom tooth is killing meeee.

At least you got to enjoy your spring break. Normally I'll be fine until a vacation or something I'm really looking forward to comes along then I'll be sick. I hope you feel better soon and get your presentation done. GL tonight!

I am on spring break now. I am going to work with my mom. I went yesterday too. She works in an elementary school cafeteria so the little kids entertain me. Te 3rd grades also introduced me to frog spit (lemon lime sorbet)

Frog spit? I will never look at lemon lime sorbet the same way again lol Hope you enjoy your spring break.

The school I work at doesn't have spring break until April 19th and even then I might have to work at the daycare center. I hate being a sub but it's money I didn't have before.

I'm reading Shiver. Then I might finish writing chapter 7 for my book. God i'm slow when it comes to writing.

I slow to even start writing. I've got a few ideas wrote down but haven't begun writing yet. I'm not a very good writer but ideas always pop into my head and won't go away until I do something about them.

Better start writing or shar your ideas with someone who does write but you help them write it by telling them which direction you want the book to go in.

Today, I was working with first graders and I was helping a group of 4 of them read. It was something about Bremen town but every time the one girl came to the word Bremen she said bosom

Thants great experience...especially if you wish to pursue being a teacher. A couple of my friends are going down that path in college now and you actually need classroom hours. If you keep up with this yearly you can really build up your resume... and possibly can fast track being exempt from auditing classes....

Got back from holidays today and miss them already Although having the internet back is sort of an ok substitute.

I do plan to become a teacher some day. Ever since I was in 3rd grade, I wanted to be a teacher or an actress (obviously teacher is more realistic) It is pretty awesome to be able to help teach and such.

thats awesome I used to want to be a teacher or a veterinarian when i was younger. idt I could handle the teaching part I'm jsut not patient enough lol btu i am looking into being a vet tech. Oh and don't give up on being an actress. You could always get an agent and try it out and see what happens, you just never know how it'll turn out.

I'd hate the fame though. It would suck being stalked constantly. I'd like to be able to play horn for movies and get name recognition. Are they actually making a Vampire Academy movie? I was google searching Vampire Academy today and I saw some people say there was going to be a movie. Maybe this has come up in conversation before and I missed it but I was really curious.

from my understanding no. At least not yet. idt anyone has bought the rights to it yet. a huge part of me doesn't want there to be a movie. So many of the books I've been reading are being turned into movies and I really like the VA world created in my mind I don't want it to be ruined by a movie version.

There's no VA movie in the making. Richelle (being online so much and in so many different ways) would have announced it if there was. Most VA movie topics on the internet are about fans' hopes for one.

Celbrated my mom's b-day today, finished Shiver, worked, wrote a little bit for my book and started Generation Dead. Oh man, am I exhausted.

My daughter celebrated her birthday yesterday too but her party isn't until Sunday. She's now a 6 yr old going on 13 lol

I used to hate April because I had two friends who's birthdays were a week apart. Then the last week of April is my niece's birthday. Now, it's just my niece's birthday i have to worry about. I'm running out of ideas of what to buy this girl ( because she is a special needs child, she has cerebral palsy.. she's been the same size in clothing for the past year or so and since she is special needs i am limited on the toys i can buy her and she already has the good educational ones, plus my dad spoils her and buys her a toy every weekend). Plus, I just spent a bunch of money making her an Easter basket.
