| So now I'm confused... I thought the 3rd book was going to be called The Victors, but there isn't a title on any bookstore websites...? Is The Victors not the actual title? | |

| haha, I actually don't know it. I'd heard The Victors was the title too...but I'd also heard it wasn't confirmed yet, so it might still be changed. Until a few months before Catching Fire came out it was apparently titled "Quarter Quell" so anything could happen at the moment. | |

| Yeah, I agree, Catching Fire was definitely a better title. It's a stronger title. | |

| So, on another forum I'm part of someone posted the cover of the third book and it's title...it's apparently not 'The Victors' but 'Mockingjay'. They didn't post a link, so I'm going to ask them for one to see if it's the real deal or not. When you google it a few places have the update, but it seems to have only happened today AND scholastic doesn't have it on their website...so I'm not sure what the deal is at the moment. | |

| Yep, that's the one I saw. The on our minds link is also the one my informit gave to me, so at least we're both seeing the same thing. I lol-ed so hard at this: - Quote :
- Obviously, I had to know more. So I asked the one and only David Levithan (VP Editorial Director, Scholastic) if he could share some top-secret things with me. The answer?
I am not, under any circumstances, allowed to divulge the contents of the third Hunger Games book. Nada. Nothing. Not a peep. I can, however, share with you five things that will not be appearing in the new book:
* Panem is not shaken up when District 9 is nominated for a best picture Oscar. * At no point does President Snow utter the line, “This is Snowmageddon, baby.” * Despite internet rumors to the contrary, it is not revealed that Cinna has been secretly designing outfits for a Capitol operative known as “Lady GaGa.” * All rumors of a crossover appearance by Geronimo Stilton are false. * In a tough editorial call, we decided not to have Katniss win the Hunger Games…only to be interrupted by Kanye West.

LOL I know!! I like the part about Cinna and Lady GaGa. They really did not disappoint with this cover. It is seriously the best cover I've ever seen. I love it. ♥Do you guys have the UK covers in Australia? I wonder how the UK cover for Mockingjay will look?

| So I've been rereading HG and I noticed something. SPOILER!! The first time Katniss really sorta interacts with Rue is during the training session. Katniss and Peeta are throwing spears and Peeta notices Rue following them around from station to station. I thought it was interesting (a little like foreshadowing)... I got a bit teary. Oh and btw... 73 days until Mockingjay!! | |

I had to restrain myself from the internet for like a week. Pretty easy actually since for the past few days I've been at school from 8 am to 3 pm. lol I'm still trying to absorb what I've read. I feel a little empty actually. It wasn't my favorite in the series, but that doesn't mean it wasn't good. Mostly it was just very sad. Very dark. A LOT of deaths, a few of which really killed me. I almost had to stop. There were only two things I actually got right while reading. The rest was unexpected. Basically, you won't know until it hits you. And you will cry.
