Rosemarie Hathaway

I think Mia may suprise us yet. She helped in Spokane, so what makes us think she won't do it again? Don't get me wrong, I hate her for what she did to Rose and Lissa, but I am not quite ready to write her off yet. I think she can do more to help, than harm.

She did help Rose when she was killing the Strigoi and if if wasn't for Mia, Rose could be dead.
Ehh. I wouldn't like that at all.

So hopefully if Mia does come up in Blood Promise, she will help Rose in whatever she needs help in.

personally I'm still wary of Mia. I like how she helped rose and the others escape in Spokane, but at the same time I don't think that would have cured her of her hate for Lissa and Rose. Rose is the one who was praised for fighting off the strigoi, and don't think Mia got much recognition. She constantly gets annoyed at being forgotten or deemed "unworthy" in society, so do you really think she's going to let it all go now just because she gets to live with her dad and learn to fight? I think (like with Victor) we haven't seen the last of her and I don't think she's all that good just yet.

Yeah SM again your right there, she didn't get any recognition for what she did. Well if she did, there was no mention. So maybe she isn't as good as I thought she was..but then again maybe losing her mom has made her realize things too.

yeah, I get that she could have changed and I want to believe that she has because losing her mum has to be tough. But I just can't shake the feeling that she's going to be back again and perhaps not as a friend.

You could be right there, maybe losing her mom hurt, but then again maybe it made her realize that because she isn't royal her father and her won't get protection. Maybe that is enough to make her learn how to fight, and then use that against the others. I think your right, it would be nice to think that she would be their friend. But one good deed might not show that she is good, it might just be what she wants them to see.

Rose Hathaway, along with Lissa Dragomir, are real eye-candy, anyone agree with me on that one?

Especially with that incident in which it was clearly stated in a few chapters in Frost-Bite that Rose Hathaway ended up in a bikini....i wonder if it's meant for the sake of the fact of the matter that Mead is still continuing to admit that Rose is Eye-Candy?

Now i suspect that if Mead is still keeping the fact of the matter that Angel Princess Lissa's eye-candy, she's not as much reminding us of it, for some funny reason or another

It's different for Lissa than it is for Rose. We're viewing it from Rose's perspective, so when she gets a look or a comment about how hot she is it actually registers with us. While with Lissa, we're disadvantaged because we don't see much of the story from her perspective; but at the same time she's Moroi, they're supposed to be super gorgeous and it often goes without saying.

But Lissa is meant to be an angel who's trapped in the body of a Moroi, right, S.M?

How else would Lissa be so fun to stare at, for that matter?

I'm not sure she's supposed to be an angel exactly, I just think she's got a rare power (or rare for the society she's in).

Because she's kind and a moroi and royalty. I'm not saying she doesn't have things going for her, just that she's not defined by them.

It's the way she's written, as a caring and kind person. But at the same time she's not perfect, she's troubled and obviously gets angry occassionally (aka. Super-complusion on Jesse)
It's fine to see her as an angel though, I'm not going to try and take that away from you.

Don't forget about Mia as she was in the 1st novel, as she was a real whore, for the most part, during that novel....i'm glad she redeemed herself somehow in Frostbite, though.
