Succubus Series AKA Georgina's series

I think the seth cheating thing is hard to get over because he talks the good talk. sex should be with people you love blah blah blah, and then he goes around and screws another person and cheated on the one he was suppose to have loved. That says something about him. georgie well lets face it #1 she has never been faithful to anyone so more use to it, and #2 she never really loved dante.

With VA the cheating is needed because of needing the dhampirs, but i tend to think that the males help to conceive the dhampir kids before they get into marriage relationships. like the go out and "have a good time" then they grow up, even though the probably have one or two kids already. does that make sense

The Latter is starting to make sense, although the Moroi aren't Gods, anymore than they'd share their potential life-span, for that matter, i can't forget that part.
Still...as badly as they need the Dhampirs, shouldn't they be leading examples in terms of fighting in the Frontlines, so at least that way, the Dhampirs' Morale could skyrocket, correctly?

The Olympian or Nordic Gods even managed to consider trying to inspire half-mortal members of their respective bloodlines, every now and then, and they still tend to do it, but in the Moroi's case, most of them apparently forgotten the importance of that fact, so what happened to them that would give them Glass Spines instead of spines more durable than Glass?

So why did the Moroi leaders started thinking settling for Glass Spines instead of Iron Spines is actually a good thing, when really, it makes them out to be bigger douchebags than even Crudnelius Foodge of the Ministry was?

Granted, i'd still take my chances with the Royals than put up with all the factions of twilight, but seriously, if they manage to do an even crappier job at justifying the fact they're struggling, together, than Crudnelius Foodge had done, to the point where either the council of Cloven Elders or the Olympian Gods in moments of their miscalculations are more entertaining, when they make errors[don't remind me about the blasted Trojan War, already, that war was godsawful, along with aiding in the collateral damages of W.W2, for that matter!]

So I was looking at Richelles FAQ on her site and noticed she changed the movie question answer

"Unfortunately, this isn't something I can just do on my own. For there to be a movie or TV show, a production company needs to approach me and offer to buy film rights. So far, only Succubus Blues has sold film rights, which were to Fox TV. Even then, no guarantees of a show exist. None of my other series have sold film rights, so cross your fingers that a film company offers to buy them! YouTube rumors about a VA movie are exactly that: rumors. There are no plans to make one right now."

all I can say is WHY FOX! why not HBO or SHOtime -_- even if it becomes a show Fox cancels EVERYTHING! because they fail at life haha

Yeh... HBO or Showtime would have been better. Both channels can pull off the nudity, and the succubus gets naked a lot!!

It's probably unlikely Fox will even go through with a tv show based on the Georgina Kincaid series though. Just because they own the rights doesn't mean anything will come of it. Anyway, I'm sort of hoping they decide not to. It wouldn't be anywhere near as good as the books.

Fox is in hell, as far as getting movies done right is concerned, which weakens their judgements on their t.v studios branches, something like that?

I also don't want the Succubus Series made into a movie or TV show. And certainly not by Fox. Blecch. If the quality of Dexter is anything to go by, Showtime would be the best choice. They seem to know what they're doing where 'adult' dramas are concerned.

No thats been there for quite a while now. We've all agreed for showtime or the likes would make it a better series, however fox cinema is making the percy jackson movie so they might be able to pull off a succubus movie. We'll see.

Especially when The Seeker:The Dark Is Rising movie was worse, for The Dark Is Rising, yet the Jumper movie with Hayden Christensen and Samuel L. Jackson was half-decent?

i never saw the seeker i heard it was a bit disappointing. i did like jumper though.

I wasn't really expecting to love Succubus Shadows, since the synopsis didn't give a whole lot away and it was so horrible to think about the pain Georgina was going to have to endure because of Maddie and Seth's wedding. But I really really loved SS. Especially after SH, SS was what needed to happen. I read it in one night and it was awesome. The ending makes me super excited for the last book even though SS isn't even out yet. You guys have a lot to look forward to!! Roman lovers especially should be pleased. He's also a lot less the sociopath he was in previous books, though he's still a stalker. lol

I also loved the fact that Carter was quite involved in everything this time. Love.

Anyway, I can't wait to discuss SS with you guys. March 30 is too far away!!
