yup and though seth/her ex husband doesn't entirely realize it yet either. though there is a subconciuos part that recognizes her hence "you are my life". the fact that he recognizes her is what will null the contract. and why niphon wants to get her recalled or relocated. I do like Roman a lot, a lot more than i like seth, even before he started being an arse. he was just so boring they are meant to be friends not lovers. they've had the chance to be together at least twice maybe 3 times now (reincarnation) and it never works out for them that says something. I do believe their love for one another but you need more than that sometimes love aint enough.

Georgie couldn't be with Seth or else she could have killed him. Or depending on how you look at it, worse, condemned him to Hell. You simply don't do that to someone you love. I like Seth because at least he's somewhat stable. He doesn't have psychotic and stalker-like tendencies like Roman (and my ex!). Sometimes, "boring" is good.

Well it's OK if Maddie doesn't forgive him. That would be fine! She gets hurt AND they'll break up! And hopefully she runs away in tears and then because she can't see through her tears, she gets hit by a bus. Perfect! RM should really hire me to help her with her books. LOL!

There can be other ways to save Seth's soul. I don't know what they are, but I'm sure there is a way that doesn't involve Seth being with Maddie. Especially not trapped in a loveless sham of a marriage. Well, loveless on Seth's side. Maddie is a fool, and I hate her.

This is all on Seth now, regardless of Georgina's role. He has to be able to forgive himself if he wants to be saved. It's all subjective to the human. If they feel guilty about something, then they have to fix it themselves. It's like what Georgina said. She didn't have to be a succubus to make Seth sin. He did it all on his own.

What really makes me mad is that Seth suddenly feels guilty for cheating on Maddie when he did the exact same thing to Georgina just a few months before and did not feel guilty about it then.

yeah, I hate that too. He keeps claiming he's a one-woman-man...but then continues to involve himself in two women's lives. He needs to rethink his involvement with them both.

I totally agree with you and I second that Asswipe! But I do have to recognize Georgina's unfaithfulness as well. I'm talking about her time with Bastien, which was for pure pleasure atlesat she admitted her wrong doing to Seth though. In my personal experience as soon as you bring adultery into a relationship it is doomed to fail. there's no way around it.

Yeah Georgina did wrong as well, but in her situation I can understand that it was a lot harder for her to resist. It doesn't excuse her actions, but I understand. What Seth did just seemed almost cruel. Cheating on Georgina isn't really the problem, since she never expected him to be able to go without nookie forever. It's that he dumped her after cheating on her, claiming that he "doesn't have flings". Dating Maddie after sleeping with her doesn't make him noble. It makes him an ass. I really hope he tells Maddie the truth about his relationship with Georgina, because it'll just be ridiculous if this goes on for much longer.

Adultery screws everything up in a relationship. I honestly don't understand why people do it. But then again, what do I know?

I'm in total agreement about the adultery ruining relationships thing. But, I know what some of the motivations are. Or, at the very least the common excuses for it. One big one is "unavailability". The story goes something like this: "But I was lonely! You're never around! You're always too busy for me." Let's see. Boredom is another. One thing that is always the case is that it's never the adulterer's fault. Even with the books. It's not Seth's fault (according to Seth), it's Georgie's. Ugh! Now, yes, I honestly believe Georgina and Seth are meant to be together. But I have an issue with men who cheat, having been cheated on myself (with lord knows how many girls). And of course, it was all my fault. I didn't give him all the attention he needed. Believe me, it was a LOT that he needed. Ugh. So, yes, I want to smack Seth and kick him in the nads.

My wish is that as long as Maddie gets hurt in the process of Seth and Georgie getting back together, it's all good.

Men (or anyone actually) who cheat and then turn right around and blame the other person because they're "never around" are selfish pigs. Adultery because of boredom is a completely different matter however.

I want to smack Seth too!! Though it's really frustrating because I don't think Georgina can be happy with anyone else.

Its different for when the married immortals of the various pantheons[Olympian, Celtic, or Asgardian, mostly Olympian] ended up mating with mortals, even if in some of their cases, its adultery, isn't it?

At least in their cases, it breeds out legendary half-mortal warriors, or even bloodlines or entire groups of legendary warriors, at least one of their cases ended up saving the remnants of a fallen civilization[like how Aeneas saved the Trojans, and his mum was the Olympian Love + Lust Goddess, for crying outloud!Not to mention he's Julius Caesar's ancestor!]

Cases like Georgina's or Seth's, are standardly another story, altogether, right?

Is it just me or has anyone else realized richelle likes to write about people cheating? Obviously Seth and Georgina are in that one he cheated on her and maddie. She cheated on him and Dante, not so much Roman since they weren't committed yet. Then in VA, the whole Moroi men having affairs with dhampir's and Lissa cheating on Christian by kissing her ex. Also in Dark Swan with eugene cheating on Kiyo with Dorian, and god knows if Kiyo is still getting some from Maiwenn. Even though I support Eugene and Dorian. It's really hard to draw the lines of who's good or bad when it comes to cheating in her books. In reality if your a cheater your and asswipe.

Seth Is georgina's "love" and we're supposed to be hoping for them to be together yet if georgina was really a friend I would tell her to forget the F_ing loser. So why do people still route for him?

Same with georgina cheating on Dante and Maddie. We're so quick to forgive her but not Seth. In real life I'd call her a homewrecking Wh---.

In VA we have to approve of Moroi cheating with Dhampirs for the sake of the Dhampir race.

With Eugene, it's the same as Georgina, we're so quick to forgive her for cheating because we all like Dorian. But if it turns out Kiyo is cheating on her he's going to get the Seth treatment. Well it hasn't even been confirmed if he's cheating or not and people already are giving him the Seth treatment.

(In all these circumstances the lines between right and wrong are blurred for what we believe in reality and what we want. I feel like a hypocrate! )

I don't feel so much like a hypocrite!!

I think we root for certain characters over others because we see the story from only one side. We don't like that Georgina cheated on Seth with Bastien, but we understand the situation. He had shifted his form to look and sound like Seth, so it was much harder for her to resist him. It was different when Seth cheated on Georgina, but I can't really explain why. But we still hope that he and Georgina can be together because we know from Georgina that she would probably never be happy with anyone else. As for Maddie... Seth cheated on Georgina first, so it's kind of hard to feel sorry for her. She's the victim of Seth's actions. Not Georgina's.

In Eugenie's case... Dorian was just extremely hot. But also, she and Kiyo had been having trust issues anyway. He never told her about the baby until it was right in her face. And he really wasn't on her side after the whole thing with Leith... This is also why nobody likes him anymore!!! In fact, I like him even less than Seth.

I don't really know what to say about the VA cheating issue. The Moroi got with humans and created dhampirs. And now they need the dhampirs to survive. It's just the way the world is. As for Lissa... I just think she is annoying and selfish and I really hated what she did to Christian. Christian deserves so much better. I wouldn't mind if he found someone else. Lissa needs to grow the hell up.

I agree with everything you say that's why it's odd because normally i wouldn't.
