Succubus Series AKA Georgina's series

I adored the book, which was to be expected though I'm beginning to dislike Seth a lot, he's too tame and I understand he loves Georgie but his complete acceptance of everything she does isn't natural. It just seems so odd that he often doesn't express emotions visibly. (not to mean that he doesn't find ways to express himself that are unique to him, but I think his difficulties in displaying his emotions are worrisome.)
I also didn't like Bastien...he tried way too hard to display how "awesome" he was and failed. And I took great comfort in his failure. I can't believe he shapeshifted into Seth, but even more than that I can't believe Georgie fell for it.
And deviating from that slightly, I'm annoyed that Georgie keeps telling herself that she's hurting Seth by doing all her succubus-y things (or having sex with Bastien) but then stays with him. The more she leads him on the more crushed he'll be when they split (because I can't see them staying together forever).
I thought it was kind of obvious that Alex was the one turning Doug and the rest of Nocturnal Admission wacko, but that was probably planned that way. I didn't see the whole Dana-in-love-with-Tabitha thing, but definitely thought it was a good twist. And it's cool that Georgina got a promotion: Loved the Lit Fest

WHAT?!? You don't like Bastien?! Aww. I thought he was kind of cute - like in a swashbuckler way. I don't think there was any deception on his part when he shifted into Seth. Georgina saw him do it. And you don't think that Georgina and Seth belong together? Nooo!! I definitely think they'll be together. Read the next books.

I don't think Bastien was trying to deceive, but it was kind of evil really...almost like he was cheating, but I suppose they're all supposed to be on the side of evil. He played on her weaknesses and though I can't really blame him for loving Georgina, I just think she should have had more of a choice in the matter. (not that she didn't have a choice but she wasn't thinking straight with an available "seth" in front of her.)
I think they're well matched and probably would work out as a "human" couple, but them together in this situation just doesn't suit well with me.

Shes such a lovable person with a big heart and yet in the series she dates a series of jerks. She honestly deserves so much better then the choices she has been presented with. None of them are good enough for her. Seth Bastian, roman, dante etc. I mean really, come on? She deserves someone like Carter unfortunately that can never happen with out him falling and I don't want to see him fall that's not a price I'd be willing to pay if I were in georgies shoes. it just seems to me that of the choices were trying to pick the lesser of all the evils for her companion. None of the men are saints. They have all hurt her in one way or another. In my opinion seth is the one who hurts her the most. I'd rather suffer a flash wound than a broken heart. She trusted him opened herself up to him left herself completely vulnerable to him and he used that all against her. Especially when he said something along the lines of, she's like you only more human. I forget what his exact words were it's been a while but I just remember that being a low blow and a knife to the heart to georgie, and completely un called for. I hope in the next two books we can get one more character that is deserving of georgina, who we all can fall in love with.
