If they made it into a movie who would you see could play as them?

I dont like Emma Roberts as Rose either. I don't think she has the right look, or could pull off the attitude. I do think that Lights is a good choice, but I've only heard herr sing. Can she act?

If they cast Ben barnes as Dimka I would die. I seriously hope it doesn't come to that, though. I would think that the casting agent should have better taste than that. I'm kinda thinking of George Clooney as Victor, but I'm not entirely sure. Oh, and in Canada, where I live, there's this major book chain called Indigo who are having Teen Read Awards right now. Dimka is nominated as best hottie. Just thought I'd put that out there, so that everyone knows what the actor has to live up to.

I quite like Taylor Kitsch as Dimka. How about Adrian? What's everyone thinking for him?

How about Kate Beckinsale for Tasha? She'd need blue contacts, or something, but I don't think that'd be a problem, given technology today.

Not keen on Imogen to be honest.

I think she's at least a better suggestion than the ones floating around (i.e. Blake Lively, Hayden Panettiere, Diana Argon). Ick. Also, she's a pretty fresh face. But whatever.

Just tired of seeing the same suggestions everywhere. Because like Ben Barnes and like Megan Fox should like totally be like Dimitri and Rose like. *sarcasm*

DEFINITELY no Megan Fox/Ben Barnes. That I agree with. I like Amanda Seyfried as Lissa, though.

Personally, my favorite for Lissa is Teresa Palmer.
Her most recent movie is The Sorcerer's Apprentice, but she'll be appearing in I Am Number Four with Alex Pettyfer and Diana Argon next Feb.

And it's not like Lissa is particularly innocent what with all the boyfriends and drinking.
But yeah, I guess Imogen doesn't look quite as delicate or regal as Lissa should. *shrug*

Teresa Palmer, on the other hand, can definitely pull off delicate and regal.

I could see Blake Lively as Mia, not Lissa.

Rose: Just came to me that Alexa Vega could pull off her attitude maybe, but does she look the part? I think that Sophia Bush could've been Rose if the film was made a couple of years ago, but she looks too old now.
I also think that Emily Browning could pull of Rose.
Dimitri: I think Ben Barnes looks the part and has got the attitude but it all depends on who Rose is and he needs to look way older than her.

Yes, I like Ashley Benson as Mia alot. When I wrote Amanda Benson, I meant Ashley. I was looking at something else.

Perhaps Judi Dench as Tatiana. I think Meryl Streep would play the royal-pain-in-the-ass-ness well, though.

I can't stress enough how much I DONT want Ben Barnes as Dimitri. He's no where near hot enough, and he's a bad actor, in my opinion.

I can't think of anyone else I'd like to see act Dimitri.

Perhaps Lissa is meant to be a fallen angel, because fallen angels did at least a dozen or more bad things, the last time i checked. *watches a painting of a humanoid-ish fallen angel*

I'm in accordance with most people I don't want the books into a movie because most of the time movies mess up and then ruin the books and then there's the fact that when a movie is released, millions of people go cuckoo for it and they claim to be the story's number one fans when really they're fans of the movie or if they actually read the books it's because they saw the movie. Then, there's the fact that if they go wild for a particular character in the movie, unless they've read the books first then it'll be the actor they're wild for rather than the character. Take Twilight, for instance, in the cinema girls start screaming when they see Taylor Lautnor shirtless and I can't help but regard that with disgust. I mean, I'm a sucker for hot guys too but i tend to go for the heart flutter rather than the pathetic scream. Much more dignified but back on topic if the books were turned into a movie and proved to be successful it would sweep the nations in a frenzied fever and well, that would kinda suck for me cuz i always prefer it when a story is loved only by the bookworms who actually read it. I don't know, it makes reading feel more like reading. I went off topic I know but i just want to say that even though i don't want the books as a movie i'm totally rooting for Ben Barnes as Dimitri even if he is a little on the skinny side. But he has the right hair, the face, and the eyes and he could so totally pull of the whole quiet, mysterious air that Dimitri always carries in my eyes.

Its okay. I don't want them to be movies, either. It always seems like I'll start reading a series, and then I really like it, but then it gets made into a movie, and then everyone in the world is reading it as well, not because they actually like it, but because it's become a trend, and then I get accused of being a follower, when really, I STARTED IT ALL! That happened with Twilight. I started reading it, and was on Eclipse, and then they announced the movies, and then everyone launched into a fan craze, and everyone accused me of just "following the trends". That's why now I try really hard to go for series' that no one knows about. Plus, having everyone rading it/watching it would ruin a lot of inside jokes between me and my friends who have read it.

Yeah. I totally agree, although i will admit there is a sort of pleasure in making fun outta films. Even with movies i totally adore i can't resist making comments here and there. Sometimes it annoys my family and friends and other times they like to join in, those times are more fun. I really hate getting shushed at or told to shut the hell up.

See, I'm the one in my family thats always talking through movies. I'll keep talking about a funny part, or whatever, and then if I've seen the movie already, I'll wind up saying my favourite lines, which drives everyone, but my sister especially, insane.
