If they made it into a movie who would you see could play as them?

unknowns are good but risky, I definitely want to make sure each person could act and pull off their roles convincingly. I just wish they'd say if they were making a movie already. Maybe they're holding off to wait until the twilight market dies down. So there won't be any confusion or comparisons. But I fear if they wait too long like say after the breaking dawn movie comes out people will see just how lame the twilight series really was and will automatically write off VA. Unfortunately that's going to happen. The only way they can avoid that is wait a few years after the twilight saga is done and dwindled. Inspire a new generation. So for now I am enjoying the books. If they decide to make a movie I will be ecstatic definitely I just want VA to have it's own spotlight.

yeah they should definitely wait. either way VA will be compared to Twilight. I still hope that its not made into a movie. I don't want a movie to come and ruin what I see when I read the books. The movies can never truely live up to the books although some may come close...it would take a lot for them to pull VA off to my liking...

yeah I agree that they should keep in mind that Rose and everyone else are more than eye-candy. I still don't want it made into a movie but if they do then they really need to get ppl who can pull off the characters personalities and not just their looks.

Agreed...although, i can stand the idea of Vampire Academy being compared to Cirque Du Freak or Gemma Doyle, if given a choice.

Since the twilight movies robbed us of options, people won't realize it, at all, and it'll be like The Potter-World Versus twilight[or the somewhat more meaningful, but equally bad, His Dark Materials Versus The Vampire Diaries, by Philip Pullman and L.J Smith, respectively!]

I could even imagine the common Roots between Headmistress Nightwing of the Gemma Doyle Trilogy, by Libba Bray, and Headmistress Kirova of the Vampire Academy series, even.

the only books of this genre I've read are the twilight series, vampire academy, harry potter series, the mortal instruments series, and the Percy Jackson series so I haven't got 1 clue as to the other series you are talking about so I can't compare them. Sure I've heard of Vampire Diaries (I watch the tv show) and I've seen the trailer for Cirque du freak (doesn't catch my interest) but thats where it ends with me

I agree but my point was he looks more the role with the light facial hair.

I still don't think he looks like Dimitri but we all have different tastes and picture someone different. He is hot though I'll give ya that.

As for everyone else, i hope that whoever plays Rose and Lissa, would be eye-candy in bikinis, though.

I have to admit. I prefer Henry with shorter hair. And the facial hair looks really good on him. But with longer hair he looks like my Dimitri.

I don't know why, but every time i read the Vampire Academy novels, i feel like i have to take a medical drug overdose, girls.

I can't tell if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but all i know, is that the nasty side effects are worse than having a lot of energy drinks at once, that's for sure.

Besides, in the first few movies, that has to be a part of the casting reasonings, and for another, they better not frak with ethnicity, or at least Rose's and her father's Ethnicities, that's for sure.

300 has the kind of excuse that most of us[or at least the cast] may already be descended from the ancient greeks, anyway, but Vampire Academy, for a tale that takes place in the present day[underneath its medical drug abuse, a figure of speech, i mean!] really has no such excuse, whatsoever.

Especially when Rose's bloodline and background roots come into play, in the later novels, too!!!

I'm honestly not too worried about them finding someone who is Middle-Eastern as long as she looks the part and can portray Rose is what is important to me.

That's agreed, with someone who finds Annabeth's actress a decent casting decision for Annabeth Chase, as well, right?

Why jump a cliff, when you could conserve limbs and jump off a window[as long as you don't break your neck, outrightly?]

At any rate, it would be another story if Fox played Avery, right?

So at any rate, i hope that they just cut some of Rose's thoughts that have nothing to do with the little things[in the story and plot!], her development[or that of her friends, including their growth!] and some of the negative moments that turned out to be unearned or unwanted, really.

They could keep some of the eye-candy moments of the novels, though, and they must have a heavy emphasis in kombat, but otherwise, most of the rest must be cut, right?

Oh I'm pretty sure they would cut a lot of the things Rose thinks/says. They'd have to. I just hope they don't cut out the moments I like most.

and I don't really care for who they have chosen to play Annabeth. I mean I've never seen her act or anything but she looks nothing like how Annabeth is described and that irritates me.

As for Fox being Avery...idk...I don't really think she could pull it off. IMO she's not a very good actress. She's ok and I like her in the Transformers movies but thats where my like ends with her...
