Sorry for interupting guys. I do not know if this has already been suggested and there are waaay to many posts to go through... I just saw a picture of Josh Groban and I think he could be a pretty good Dimitri, aside from the fact that I do not think that he is a Russian...

So can we get Zack Snyder or Alfonso Cuaron to direct the Vampire Academy movies?

If not either, then could we get Ridley Scott to direct, instead?At least Scott's movies are easier to digest than Cuaron's, even though Cuaron's a better director than Scott is, now overall, plus aside from Zack Snyder doing war scenes better than Scott, Scott wouldn't give anyone the bad impression of being another Michael Bay[i know Snyder's smarter than that, but still...]

idk if I really want to see this series turned into a movie. But I have thought about who I'd want to see play the characters and come up with nothing...I can't really see anyone playing anyone but I'll list the ppl I use in my graphics

Is Sophia Bush of Scottish Roots, though?We need to know she at least has that, going for her, since i doubt she's Turkish-American.

We can't just gun for Eye-Candy, if it's in our power to do more than that, everyone.
Even the Potter-World movies realized that, and tried to the best of their ability to pull that off, right, but so far, only Ginny, Luna, and Angelina they got right, for the students.

btw, my version of Rose is Camilla Belle. i know you all will disagree with me, but in some photos of her, i saw she seems like a turkish, especially her eyes n eyebrows

Oh I don't think Sophia should play Rose I just use her for my graphics. I just don't think anyone out there could truely pull off Rose. Thats why I hope it isn't turned into a movie.

It doesn't matter to me if the actress is actually Scottish or Turkish just as long as she can look that she is HELL as long as she can really act the part of Rose (because the most perfect looking girl to be Rose could be a horrid actress and the role would just fall apart)she could be a redhead that looks Italian/Russian

I hear a lot of ppl saying that. I can see it. he'd be good but I think Chace Crawford would make a great Adrian too. Both their looks fit Adrian imo though

I think some of the actors Wilda listed would do a good job. Most people say Sophia Bush would play Rose well but I don't see her playing a seventeen/eighteen year old teen, I mean, I think she's like 27 so.. Taylor Kitsch has aaalways been the perfect Dimitri for me, I think he has the whole package. And Chace Crawford would be great as Adrian I'd also like to see Taylor Momsen as Mia. But I don't see Jamie Bell as Mason or Hayden Panettiere as Sydney, idk why.

you know when I saw a pic of him a few weeks ago I instantly thought of Christian. but he's already playing Percy Jackson...but looks wise I think he looks like the best Christian...

thanks. Sophia Bush is too old to play Rose but I haven't found anyone (looks wise) that I like better. I love Sophia Bush but even if she were younger I don't think she could pull off Rose. And i was going through pics of Jamie Bell and I have come to agree with you. He doesn't look like Mason. I'll have to keep looking...

I think Chace Crawford would make a better Jesse personally.

Well, its either Christian or Eddie he could have been considered to play, if they ever do movies on V.A[it has to certify that its remotely better than twilight, not just as the lesser of two evils, first, but do more than that, first!]

That, and since i could have sworn that Lerman might have been Riordan's nephew or one of his sons[The former being more likely, i think!] i'm starting to wish that Perseus Jackson was there, to help Rose and Company De-Wussify the Moroi, in general[i heard that at their prime, they used to be as fierce as the Vampire Mountain Vampires of Cirque Du Freak, in battles, so W.T.H[What The Hades!] just happened for them to be wussified, so badly, that even their Guardians are fighting like the Spartans when they were empty shells of their former glory?]

Just throw in Clarisse La Rue, and i guarentee you, that the problem would have been solved, even faster!

They're the same age. And it's not so much that I *want* Chace Crawford in a VA movie. More like if he *had* to be in it, I'd see him more as Jesse than Adrian.
I want a cast of mostly unknowns!!! And Henry Cavill as Dimitri.

Although I wouldn't mind if Logan Lerman was in it. I loved him in 3:10 to Yuma.

and I agree that if it becomes a movie the cast should be mostly unknowns...At least no one as known as those I've previously listed.

The Code:Geass Anime series proved you can have loads and loads of eye-candy, as long as they have convincing enough personalities, and you remind others of the main story and head plot of the series...otherwise, you're barely any better than twilight, as Code:Geass managed to cleanse the fail out of the Mobile Suit Gundam series' Cosmic Era, just to even hope to be loads better than the Cosmic Era[at least Code:Geass felt like Gundam Wing, when it mattered, right?and Code:Geass is a foster child of a Giant Robot Anime series, too, as much as Vampire Academy is!]

yeah I agree that they should keep in mind that Rose and everyone else are more than eye-candy. I still don't want it made into a movie but if they do then they really need to get ppl who can pull off the characters personalities and not just their looks.
