Geez. My son has been nonstop whinning, crying, and screaming all day. Add a 6 yr old into the mix and it all gets worse *sigh*

| Thanks Becca *HUGS back* Why are you having a bad day?
Sorry you are both having bad days. Mine would be ok if it wasn't for a cranky little boy. I wish i knew what his problem was. Then maybe I could make him better.

| With everything you've been through and have surviving it all, you are one of the strongest girls I know. You may be having a moment of weakness, we all do, but you are still strong. And whatever it is, you'll pull through it. | |

| If I'm so strong, then why do I run every time something happens???? Why do I break? Why do I feel the need to escape or cut? | |

| Becca- I never like to drop the age card ,cause well i think its rude and comes off as bitchy. But, you are still young. That's not saying you aren't mature. Because you are very mature. Regardless of maturity, you are still young and though you have been through so, so much, we all are ultra sensitive when we are young. Don't get me wrong, I am still young too. Yeah, I'm 22 which isn't teenage any more, but i'm still young and had to grown up far faster than i wanted too. But through experience comes wisdom and we gain wisdom with every year that passes. As you get older, you'll develop different outlooks on life, your mind will broaden and you will see things in different light, from different perspectives you just don't have the capacity to see now. I never like to drop the age line, it just doesn't sound right and i know this little speech is coming out wrong but it's 100% true, I promise you.
Breaking and wanting to escape is 100% normal and not a weakness. It's part of being human and living life. Life isn't sunshine and happiness all the time. Hell, even most of the time. But it's the bad times that makes up appreciate the good times. It's the bad times that define our character and who we are. Without experiencing the bad, we would be nothing during the good.
We all contemplate "out" options... weather its running away, denial, cutting, drugs, alcohol, smoking, partying. We all have our vise. We all have destructive thoughts and feelings. Having those feelings aren't weak. Acting on them inst even weak. The key is to learn from those experiences and hopefully, with time and experience different paths open up to you and you find different ways. Different outlets for these emotions and feeling and situations. Find different controls. And if you are having trouble with this alone, that doesn't make you weak either. We are surrounded by help, we only have to open our eyes to see them. We aren't meant to go through EVERYTHING alone. This may be one of those situations for you.

| Okay, in the past day or so, I've read about four pages. I can not respond to all of them, but I will say this. Becca: Love, that's how I feel when it comes to Shea. And, yeah...apparently we've both done suicide attempts. His involves one of his guns. For me, it involves knives, razors, pills, alcohol or water..... | |

| Tasha: You also have to consider how I am though. I've been taught at a early age to trust no one and show no pain. It's how I've lived my life and now I'm suffering because of it.
Tania: I have a feeling you're talking about the newest addition to my signature?

| Becca, I agree with Tasha. And like I said, you are having weak moments. We all do. You are still so young so when you get scared the natural thing to do is run. No matter what, you are still strong. Even if you don't see it. Just hang in there hun. It'll be okay.
Sending lots of hugs to everyone!!!!

| Becca- thats why I had the whole speech about age. Because we all are a product of our upbringing. Which doesn't have to be a bad thing. But, with time I hope u can learn to manifest the positive in those traits( trust is earned and shouldn't readily be given away , so trusting no one right off the bat is a good thing and showing no pain is a good thing in certain situations. Like recently with me. I couldnt cry or be upset or look like i've been crying in front of my dad or my boyfriend while they are lying there on a hospital scared out of their mind they are going to die and have no idea what's going on. I had to keep my emotions inside and put on a strong front for them. But eventually you have to let all that out....like i came home one night and was putting away laundry for something to distract myself and when i plucked one of his socks out of the laundry bag i started hysterically crying. There is a time and place for everything ). Let me share something you. I'll put it in a spoiler tag because it's not about me and its a little graphic. - Spoiler:
MY bf/fiance- he grew up in a really abusive environment. He's parents were divorced. He's dad was stationed somewhere over seas. He was living, very poorly in a one bed room apartment with his mother and brother and his' moms boyfriend- who was abusive to him and to his mother. When he was 10. His mother committed suicide. In front of him. She slit her wrists and took bottles of medication. Needless to stay it was slow going process. He was ten and didn't know what was going on. He asked his brother for help, his brother ignored him. He stayed with his mother while her sleeves were soaking with blood from the cuts and she started to convulsive and foam at the mouth from an overdose. He ended up sleeping with a corpse until the middle of the night. Until i met him, he had terrible anger issues. Not just he has a temper from time to time. He had serious anger problems. He trusted no one. He didn't even trust me. But since we started as friends and being the person I am, i stood by and had to endure some real hurtful stuff. Once he wanted me to spend the night and when i said i have to go home he was hurt so lashed out with anger at me. He called me a whore and said I'm like an escort. Then he broke down crying. We've had alot of situations like that. But when he realized I loved him, and he loved me thats when it got way worse. He was terrified of losing me or me leaving. BUt eventually it was something he had to work out and all i could do was stand by, retain my confidence and dignity and hope he would pull through. For awhile he let me in but then he was psycho -lifetime-boyfriend jealous. Oh and when i finally revealed to him some personal stuff i went through like sexual assault. He lost it. He went absolutely crazy. He was so hurt for me and so angry. BUt eventually he learned I am my own personal and my issues are my issues and he can't control me- that's not love. He did learn. He learned he can't keep all his emotions locked up. He's still traumatized but he's in a much better place mentally and emotionally. He used to be a fighter. Both in the gym and a street fighter. He's covered in scars from living that lifestyle. But that's how he dealt with his pain and emotions. He felt something inside him? He'll go punch a mailbox or get into group fight. And the only pain he would feel was physical. When we started dating and was working through all this, he gave up the fighting and hitting things for me. After 5 months maybe 6 months of being together- we never fought again. Okay we fought. But not like before. Normal couple fights. I"m not saying he's completely better. He still has incidents where he doesnt deal with his emotions and keeps it locked up. But slowly but surely he's getting better and learning.
The whole point is. Thats why i dropped the age line before. You are still young and have plenty of time to adopt to new ways of dealing, coping and even thinking. You are a strong woman and wise beyond your years. You''ll pull through this. I promise. And if you feel you can't turn to anyone in your personal life. YOu have me. YOu have us here on Shadow Bite. I know it's not much. But atleast my feelings and concern are sincere as i'm sure everyone else here.
