| AHH I just got back from seeing HP!! It was so awesome. My brothers totally loved it as well. Throughout the later part of the movie there was a lot of cheering and clapping. Especially during particular scenes involving Mrs. Weasley and Neville. It was just all around awesome. I so wanted to scream and cheer for McGonagall. I almost did. | |

Everyone involved in the fighting(as well as the cast!) was magnificent, when one thinks about that. The emotion systems were functioning, the tears were jerking, even the blood was flowing(quite literally, if i may add!) and would it be a surprise if, being an admitted military brat, myself, if i admitted to having saluted even the deceased? The only real flaws i could note(apart from the movie not being long enough!) can be told in the following spoiler tags. - Spoiler:
-I am not a purist, but i wonder if it was clear how many goblins were killed for failure or not, during the war. -I am quite pleased to hear Seamus get a shot at redemption in the movie, now if only we knew for sure if all the Gryffindor Quidditch players from Harry's old team came back in the movie, because i am not sure if they're there in it as they were in the novel, unless fridge logic is being played. -Speaking of fridge logic, i can't tell if its either fridge logic or something else if the House-elves weren't directly shown in the fields, but if the former's more likely, i wonder if there's exact counts for how many of Voldemort's hordesmen were there, since they could number in trillions. -The greater news yef, lies in the fact Luna has more to do between the fighting, and they even show Aberforth Dumbledore taking to the field, which is also gloriously epic, now if only we got to see exactly how Lupin and Tonks died, although at least its maintained in the same kind of Manner Leonidas of Sparta died in the Hot Gates(thank you, 300!) -More news, later.

| HP 7.2. was good. It did rate as awesome fot me. I guess I had higher expectations for it. Did cry a bit - Great hall scene and the Snape flashback (more than a bit). I hope Pottermore talks about Narcissa Malfoy more. She saves the day. Did Ginny have more lines in the book? - I thought we'd see more of her. Wasn't Nagini in some sort of special bubble. Must go re read the book. Loved how Bellatrix burst into so many pieces. | |

| I loved McGonagall too! She was so awesome and thinking she had a cancer shooting those scenes I think she's a great actress and no one better could ever be chosen. | |

| Omg. I just watched Pocahontas for the first time in years. It was like I'd never seen it before. lol And I think I've always had a thing for John Smith. Also, I just found out that Christian Bale was the voice of Thomas. | |

| So i finally watched Breaking Dawn part 1. I kind of liked it. Then again i actually liked book 1 and book 2 of breaking dawn. It was book 3 i hated. So i'm not expecting to like breaking dawn part two. As always I wanted more of the drama and action especially with Jacob's part. But, i did enjoy the gore-y parts of the pregnancy.
ANd i re-watched the last HP movie. I was teary eyed throughout the whole movie. sniffles.

| Tasha, from what i hear part 2 will have a lot more action than the book. We get to see a vision Alice had through Aro's eyes and it shows what would happen if they fought and there are deaths on both sides. So at least we'll get to see soem action. I'm excited to see Vampire Bella and of course I want to see how they pull of Renesme. I really liked part 1 though. Especially the wolves when they find out about Bella's pregnancy and Jacob breaks off from the pack. It was chaotic with all those voices, and I loved it.
Everytime I watch Deathly Hallows part 2, I cry. I cry through both parts but more so during part 2. I miss Harry potter. Even though i'm always watching one of the movies lol I miss the fact that there won't be any new movies : /

| Glad to hear they're jazzing up BD part 2. the last 2 were pretty boring. I loved the Hunger Games. Haven't had much time to think about it but it may be the best book to film adaptation i've ever seen. - Spoiler:
what the heck is up with forests and deers in the first five minutes? that was too twilight-ish for me. the tree scene before the tracker jacker attack. Did it happen like that in the book.

| Saw THG. It was really good, but tbh, it wasn't nearly as amazing as I thought it would be. Maybe thats bc I read the book a few weeks ago and could only see the things that were missing. Idk. I still really liked it though. Libby- - Spoiler:
I have no clue what was with the deer at the beginning. I didn't like it though. I don't recall the careers and Peeta finding Katniss quite like that in the book, but the tracker jacker scene itself was pretty dead on.

I agree. I read the books, and thought they were very good, but the movie.. tried far too hard for my taste. And now that I step back and look at it THG really wasn't super spectacular to me. Well-written, yes. Good story, check. But outstanding? No. I feel like after Twilight and HP, people were itching for some new entertainment, and THG just filled a space.

| I saw Elysium too and I liked it alot!
I saw The Mortal Instruments too recently and I kind of liked it. Didn't like the rune marks they used. But I like alot of the action come to life. And a secret? The hubby liked the movie more than he cares to admit. I FINALLY got to turn around and squeal " SEE, I read cool books too!!" lol. Book nerd win!!

| Lol Tasha! I'm about to watch TMI right now. It'll be my third time since it came out on DVD. I disliked it the first time bc of the spoiler reveal. That pissed me off. But after I got over that, I enjoyed it.
I'm planning on seeing Catching Fire and The Hobbit next weekend. Hopefully anyways. Every time I plan on CF, something comes up -___-
Think I may rent Elysium tonight. We'll see.
