I totally agree. The fact that he tried to protect her when the guards came to get Rose is proof that he still loves her.

As for Ben Barnes, the only thing I've seen him in is Prince Caspian, and based on that, I hate him as Dimka. I think he's really young, and childish, and a bad actor. But that's just personal opinion. I'd much prefer Taylor Kitsch as Dimka.

I haven't seen ben barnes acting, but as long as looks are concerned, he's great for dimka.

You have to see him in Dorian Gray. Far from young, childish and a bad actor I'm sure I would be thinking the same thing as you if I only saw him in Prince Caspian, but after Dorian Gray, I think he's perfect.
I guess Taylor Kitsch would be okay, but Ben is much closer to how I see Dimitri.

I've never seen Sophia or Taylor act. I just like Taylor's look better than Ben's. I don't know. He's just hotter in my mind.

I think the acting is much more important than the looks. He can look exactly like you imagine Dimitri, but is it worth anything if he can't show who Dimitri is?

True, but again, from what I've seen, I don't like Ben Barnes acting either, so if its a choice between 2 bad actors, if Taylor Kitsch is iin fact a bad actor, then I'd much rather have Taylor. I have yet to see Dorian Grey, though, which might change my mind.

I'm not saying Taylor is a bad actor, I don't know that.. But I think Ben is not at all bad and I think he would be able to pull off the role. We'll see

But seriously, how can people think that Ben isn't good looking? To me he is beautiful, in that classic way. He completely blew me away in Dorian Gray. he was really, really very good in that film.

I'm always glad to hear that To me Ben has always been the perfect guy for the role of Dimitri. He was amazing in Dorian Gray.
