| Yes, I read both posts and I love them. Most of all, I admire your faith. I'm trying to strengthen my own faith and I'm really glad to see how well you're doing. | |

| Thank you love. I've been trying. I've discovered that I feel at home when I'm in church. I feel... I can't describe the joy I feel when I sing worship songs and church. And today, it didn't stay at the church. I've been listening to the song Everything by Lifehouse since I've gotten home. | |

| I haven't been to service for weeks, I really should go next Sunday. There were a few periods in my life when I felt strongly connected to God and somehow.. each time I distance myself again. I don't know why that happens and I wish it wouldn't.. Maybe my will is just not strong enough yet, so I turn to God only when I need Him the most. I'm trying to change that, though. | |

| I understand the feeling. Not to be mean but can I suggest something? Maybe there's something you've done that makes you feel ashamed that you don't want Him to see? I don't mean to offend you but I'm only fishing in the dark here. It might be something entirely subconscious. I've discovered, I need Him always. And I'm glad my faith seems so strong love. To be honest... It's been a month and a half that I've been this connected to Him. It's strange and frightening sometimes, because I'm not used to it. But I feel Him. Always. Beside me. I see Him. Always. And I'm in awe for He's done for me. For us. For this world. | |

| You're so inspiring, it's great talking to you Maybe it is a subconscious thing. I need to do some thinking on this, figure things out.. Because I want to be better and I want faith to always be in my life. It feels so hypocritical, the fact that I only to turn to God when I hit the bottom. I need to change that. And start putting theory into practice. | |

| I'm glad you like talking to me but can I ask how I'm inspiring? Like I said love, I was only fishing in the dark. Remember, you won't always get your answers right away. With me... It took me a year to realize I wasn't happy and that I wanted to be. And I know He had something to do with it. And I can part way understand that, I say part way because I... I didn't turn to Him at all when I hit rock bottom. And I'm grateful that He still picked me up. He still put me on the path to where I am now, but even then I held back. Because I was ashamed of something I had done to myself. And I finally realized, He had forgiven me, and so it was time to forgive myself as well. That simple thing, took me two years. Just remember, He's always there. As am I love. | |

| Your faith is inspiring, that's what I meant. I don't often get a chance to talk to someone about things like this and to me, it's inspiring. It makes me want to get a move on finally, you know? And thank you for your support. It means a lot. | |

If they can charge someone for manslaughter when they kill a mother's unborn baby what makes it right to do it to yourself? I just don't feel comfortable with the idea. I would rather people do adoption. And I don't feel it's right for a guy to walk away when he gets someone pregnant. I know what it's like having your father walk out on you.
But I can't stop thinking about you say abortion is murder. And if your against manslaughter. Instead of wanting to save the unborn lives, think about the ones that are dying every single minute , without food and clean water. I work with those children. don't now what you eat, but you've probably eaten or bought something that killed their parents, because the company's don't let them work under fair conditions. We are so unaware about that. Thats the reason I think everyone should be able to choose. Instead of giving birth to children that they may not want to have. Let's save the ones that can't live the life they want because of us. I rewrote this like 10 times. And could say so much more, but I feel it's time to let this go. I hope I don't make you upset. But I need to let this go or I'm gonna start crying.

| Sophie: As I said before, I understand your point but mine still does not change. Yes I want to save unborn lives, I also want to save the lives of the living. And I would do anything in my power to do both. But right now I can't. I don't have that much influence in the world. And I am aware of that. Right now the best I CAN do is to donate money to my church so they can continue sponsoring a little boy. I am against manslaughter, but I'm not about to value one life above another, they are all equal in God's eyes so they should be equal in mine. I wish I could do more to save those kids, but I can't, not at this moment. What I can do, is persuade my parents on views of what I think. I think it is now required that the mother come in and listen to the baby's heart beat before she can decide to terminate the pregnancy or not, but don't quote me for I am not sure. And I understand about saying so much more, so can I, but like you, I also feel we need to let the issue drop for now. You have not upset me or offended me in any way shape or form. I hope I haven't done any of those to you. You have your view, and I have mine. I respect yours and I hope that you can respect mine. And I appreciate you putting so much thought into what you wrote. | |

| haha you have upset me a bit. Would be lying if I said anything else. But I live in one of the worlds most non-religious countries. Or we are supposed to be christians, but no one I now is, no one in my class, maybe, 2-3 persons in the whole school. And I think that's what makes us different. It's so rare here. So when you talk about god, it's like your talking about some made up character. I think thats why I don't understand. I am so fascinated about how cool all human beings are. How we look different at everything. For you it's a child, and for me they are removing a bunch of cells. What I do believe is that all of us have a soul, and when you die, your soul is set free and are supposed to enter another body, and even if that bunch of cells is removed, the soul wasn't meant for that body. And the soul will simply move on until it finds the body that it's meant to be in. haha i kind of didn't end the conversation now, but it's not to be in an argument or so.. just talking haha. | |

| Ela: lol. Sophie: First off, sorry I didn't see your post sooner, I logged off because I thought it was time for me to go to Youth Group. I guess I'm overly excited because I'm going zip lining. lol. Secondly, I'm sorry that I upset you. I didn't mean to. Understanding God does make us and our views a bit different. I understand why you feel that way, believe it or not, I once felt that way too. Yes, we are different, but somehow, I don't know how, but somehow we all coexist. I'm amazed we haven't killed our own species off. We have so many others, and that angers me. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the name we have here for that is reincarnation, I believed in that for a while too, but in a different concept. And your post wasn't confusing for me in any way. | |

| yep, thats probably it, mixed up with a few believes from other religions.. No i understood that that wasn't your meaning and i'm not that kind of person who stays upset anyways, just shake it of I actually grew up in church. My mom sings in the church-choir. But we're not religious. It's kind of weird. haha, hard to explain. The church is here, and people go to it, but it's more of tradition not out of belief. | |

| Sophia, I'm a bit like you. I'm not religious, nor are many of my friends. I do have quite a few who regularly go to church etc. but there's not a lot of hype over here about it. I have nothing against religion or anything, I just don't have an attachment to it. I do think there's a higher being somewhere, but I can't narrow it to one thing and I don't put my faith in them. I understand where people come from with the whole God thing though, it's a big part of many histories, so it's hard to shake and for some it really is a good part of their lives. I have no doubt that believing in something that's not of our world exactly puts hope in people's lives and really, truly makes people hapy. But both my parents went to church as kids and hated it, so my sisters and I have never had to attend church-y/religious things, so I've never really believed...I think I've been in churchs about 10 times in my life and I'm 20. | |

| Yes, I can relate to that, I'm the most religious one of all my friends haha, and as you can see, I'm not very religious, I've been to church, but all i did was play with other kids while my mother was in the choir singing. So I've been there, and I have such a big respect for all religious people, but sometimes I just can't understand.. I don't believe in a specific god, but as allot of my family and relatives has past away, I started having a hard time with realizing they were gone. So I have always found it easier thinking of them as if they are watching me. So if I put it that way, they are my religion. But in my mind i know, that when I'm thinking of them helping me, I know, I'm helping myself, because, in the end, it's only me and my imagination. So as my confidence is growing, I don't need them in my head to comfort me. I just need myself, and I love it. Of course I think about them, but now it's only for memories | |

| Kim & Sophie: Regrettably I know exactly what you mean, and please don't take that the wrong way. I regret that because I know people who would choose to go to chruch if they weren't forced, which therefore drives them away from God.
Sophie: You don't have to be religious to help yourself as you've pointed out. lol. It's just easier for most people. I appreciate bot you and Kim's honesty about this subject. I also appreciate your respect for my beliefs.

| ugh, -20 days, that does not sound like fun. It's winter here still, so our days are semi-cool...but it's going to be 23 degrees C today, so not particularly winter-like. But our winters NEVER get as cold as -20 C so I don't think I can complain. I can't wait for summer weather, we get 30 C days too (sometimes a lot higher) and they're the best beach/pool/lake/river weather. | |

But it's fall first our rainy, breezy fall. ugh, not looking forward at all.. I found this pic on google on stockholms winter 2010.. this is in the core of stockholm, a brigde called "västerbron" i think. http://gardener.blogg.se/images/2010/2010_0225bron0008_75779033.jpghorrible.
