Yep, i'm new,and I have a few queations :D

Soo.. I'm new, and I don't even know if this site is still active buuut, I've seen a few new posts so I'll give it a shot.

A short introduction about me: I'm an 18 year old Swedish girl (that explains my spelling mistakes haha) I'm still in what represents high school in the U.S (kind of..) and I absolutley fell in love with VA about a week ago. I've read all the books now and I love reading about all the theories and I'm soooo excired about LS!

I don't really know what to write, but, i'm curious about what kind of persons who's active here, so if you don't mind, I have a few questions

1. Where are you from? country? State?
2. How old are you?
3. How long have you followed the series? And how did you find out about it?

Hey, welcome to the site!! There's a lot of people around here who will help you out if you've got any questions.

1. My name's Ashley and I'm from the US (Texas) but there are people from everywhere on here. There's fans from Brazil, UK, Australia... everywhere.

2. I'm 23 now, but there are fans on here that are much younger (and older!) than me.

3. I've followed the VA series since December 2008. I've been a member on Shadow Bite since January 2009. I first found out about VA when I saw the books at a Walmart superstore in my town. They weren't as popular then as they are now. I first picked up VA without really expecting much (the old covers looked kinda trashy to me back then) but I read it and was OBSESSED. I went out and immediately bought Frostbite and Shadow Kiss and read through them in three days. Then I had to wait nine months for Blood Promise. lol You're lucky you got to read through five of the books so quickly. Unfortunately, Last Sacrifice is still a ways out. The forum should help keep you sane until it releases though. lol

Anyway, welcome to the site!!

Yeah, the book is not big at all in Swedenand most bookstores doesn't even have it (yet, I'm just waiting for it to become popular.. haha) Thats why I'm so glad that I can talk with people about it here haha!

You may actually be able to order/preorder a signed copy of it (and any of Richelle Mead's other books). If you go to her official website, she has a link and instructions on how to order signed copies of her books from the University Bookstore in Seattle. RM often blogs about visiting the bookstore to sign copies that will be shipped to people all over the US. I'm sure they ship internationally too. So if you want a signed copy of Last Sacrifice, you could preorder one now. It probably won't make it to you on release day, but you'll get it soon after its release and it'll be autographed by RM!! Just something to consider. lol

3. Last summer i read the series- by accident. I had downloaded a bunch of ebooks and i noticed Vampire Diaries was going to be made into a show on tv soo i thought i downloaded it but it turned out to be Vampire Academy. I fell in love. Bought the books. Re-read them and joined the site a month or so afterwards. I log in everyday. May not post everyday but i peek around everyday.

I read the series a few weeks ago (and I'm almost done rereading it all). I first heard about it on a fansite for Fallen by Lauren Kate and I wasn't interested. I thought it was yet another vampire book trying to catch some of the Twilight's popularity. I came across some people on youtube talking about Dimitri and he sounded quite interesting so he's actually the main reason I decided to give VA a shot. I downloaded the ebooks and when I started to read, I just couldn't stop. I totally fell in love with the books, and Dimitri. I was surprised by the quality of writing, which is really, really good. I think VA deserves much more attention than it's getting, but I kind of like it this way, with a small fan base. I can't wait for Last Sacrifice so I joined this forum to help me feed my obsession while I wait I enjoy discussing different theories about LS.

I first read VA in Oct 2009. I borrowed it from my cousin and fell in love with it. I immediately went out and bought the rest of the books and have been hooked since. I think I joined this forum in December '09.
